Vikram Bhatt was born on 27 January 1969 to Pravin Bhatt. He started his career in Bollywood assisting directors like Mukul Anand, Shekhar Kapur and Mahesh Bhatt. He made his debut as a director with Jaanam and his first success was Fareb after which there was no looking back for Vikram. Over the span of his career so far, he has delivered hits like Ghulam, Kasoor, Raaz, Deewane Huye Paagal, Awara Paagal Deewana. He also tried his hand at directing horror movies like 1920 and Shaapit, which did well at the box office. Apart from his career as a director, he has written movies like Dastak, Aetbaar, Bardaasht, Yakeen and produced movies like Phhir, Lanka, 1920: Evil Returns, Dangerous Ishq.
