Vicky Arora (Ayushmann Khurrana) is the only son of his widowed mother, Dolly. Unemployed and lazy, after a lot of persuasion from Dr. Baldev Chaddha (Annu Kapoor), Vicky finally decides to become a sperm donor. Soon Vicky falls in love with Ashima Roy (Yami Gautam) and they decide to get married. The movie then shows how their relationship is affected by Vicky’s past as a sperm donor.
