The 35-year-old international porn sensation was born in Delhi and moved to the United State of America when she was just about two years old. She had been adopted by an American couple who brought her up as their own. She went on to pursue a course in Marketing from the Arizona State University. She started working as a stripper in nightclubs before joining the porn industry, in which she has earned quite a name.

Needless to say, the film will have steamy scenes involving Priya Rai. However, she maintains that it won’t have any nude scenes. If reports are to be believed, the actress would be arriving in India soon to start shooting. While Sunny Leone has a few projects on her plate already, Priya Rai has only this one project. The director says he didn’t sign Leone for the movie as Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar were uncomfortable working with her. “These reports are all untrue. It was my decision to not have Sunny on board. I’ve entertained the audience with family.”

She confirmed the reports that Sunny had approached him for a part in the movie earlier, Bazmee said that, ““At that time, I was not done with the script, so I asked her to wait. Now, since it’s been too long and I haven’t signed her, she is talking about the film to gain publicity.”

Interestingly, there were reports that suggested the figure quoted by Sunny Leone was too high. But Anees Bazmee cleared all the rumours saying, ” “I’ve been hearing these rumours about the makers not being able to afford her, causing her to back out of the film. They are completely baseless as she was never signed for the film. Moreover, Welcome Back is a big-budget movie, so money was never an issue.”

So seems like Sunny Leone hasn’t replaced Mallika Sherawat which was reported earlier. Looks like we’ll have to wait for the confirmation from the director itself. All we know as of now is that John Abhraham is already been selected as the male lead.

Recently, at a press conference, Abraham explains that he tries to balance out thrillers involving lots of action and stunts with lighter-hearted movies.
As for the role of Manya Surve, that he plays in Shootout at Wadala, he wanted the audience to see him in a role they haven’t seen him do before. “When you see the film, you will realise how well we have managed to round out the character of Manya Surve,” he explains. “We have not tried to glorify a gangster at all, and neither have we shown him to be totally ruthless and heartless. In the film, you will also learn about his heartbreaking love story. There are so many dimensions to this character.”

Shootout at Wadala, a prequel to the 2007 movie Shootout at Lokhandwala, is based on a book by a Mumbai-based journalist who specialises in crime and investigative reporting. S Hussain Zaidi’s Dongri To Dubai: Six Decades of The Mumbai Mafia, was published last year.

The mafia theme has been very popular in the Bollywood scene ever since the 1978 epic, Amitabh Bachchan’s Don.

Shootout at Wadala stars John Abraham, Kangna Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor and Sonu Sood in lead roles. It retells the dramatic encounter that took place in Mumbai in 1982 between Surve and Mumbai police. John Abraham has done a very convincing job acting as Manya Surve and Kangna Ranaut (Vidya, in the movie) has played John’s love.

Impressed by both the actors’ chemistry on screen, Sanjay Gupta decided to add an intimate scene in the film. John goes on to talk about the controversial move as being necessary for the story. “The scene was shot on a closed set and was executed very professionally,” says Abraham. Abraham has nothing but praise for his female co-stars Sophie Chaudhry and Sunny Leone.

“Sophie and Sunny have both performed extremely well and there will be no shortage or work for them after this film,” he says, smiling at Leone.

“It has been unbelievable working with John and everyone else for this film,” says Leone. “These are people that I used to see on the screen, and now here I am right beside them. It’s like a dream come true. However, I do realise that this is just the beginning and there is a long way for me to go.”

The Indo-Canadian actress is a recent star of Bollywood. Since making her Bollywood debut last year in Jism 2, she moved her base from Canada to India, setting up home in Mumbai.

It has not been easy, she explains.

“I am not just learning the ropes of and making a place for myself in a new industry,” she says, “but I am also coming to terms with a whole new country, its people and their lifestyles.”

Sunny Leone has been practicing learning Hindi and is surely growing more comfortable with the language.

“It is going to take a lot of hard work. It’s not that easy to make a name for yourself in Bollywood. But when you work with people like these, everything becomes so much easier. Everyone has been so patient with me and I have learnt so much on the sets of Shootout at Wadala, ”
says Leone.

The cast of John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Sunny Leone and Sophie Choudhary descended onto the city on a mission to mesmerise the audience for their upcoming new movie, ‘Shootout at Wadala’. 

Hundreds of people gathered at the famous shopping mall at 6pm, the scheduled time for the concert, only to wait for the celebs to kick start the event 2 hours later. Though nobody appeared to care as there were dance performances with the presenters, which kept the crowd in the mood waiting for the stars to arrive. And when eventually they did arrive, the deafening noise was enough to fade out the attempts by the stars, until Anil Kapoor and his trademark, JHAKASS pulled the chords down allowing them to interact with the fans.

 Tusshar Kapoor was able to tickle a few ribs when he aped his characted from the ‘Golmaal’ series as Manoj Bajpayee wowed the crowd with a stint from ‘Satya’.

But the fans couldn’t stop asking for John and their thirst was quenched when John Abraham finally arrived and mouthed a dialogue from his upcoming flick, ‘SAW’. The fans were excited to see Sunny Leone finally unleashed, minus the cage dance of course which unfortunately got cancelled due to the DTCM, which you can read here. The sexy starlet awe-struck everybody with her moves on her item song, Laila while Sophie Choudhary sung the song, Ala re Ala. 

All this lasted for just 15 minutes but for the fans present, they were satisfied and happy as ever.

Ms Leone recently became the brand ambassador for the energy drink.

The shoot took place at a quiet Madh Island poolside bungalow, in Malad, Mumbai. The three hotties posed for the paparazzi.

Reportedly, Sunny Leone along with the cast of ‘Shootout at Wadala’  travelled to Dubai for promotional activities. The 31 year-old actress was supposed to perform a ‘cage dance’  in a night club in Dubai. But due to some reasons, her performance had been cancelled.

Sunny Leone who has been seen killing men all over India with her sensuous dance moves in the upcoming movie, Shootout at Wadala’s new song, Laila has to come back from Dubai with a frown on her pretty face. Sources say that her cage dance performance was cancelled by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and she didn’t get the permission to go on with her performance.

All the tickets had been booked in advance as people were waiting impatiently to watch Sunny Leone hypnotize them with her amazing dance moves. But unfortunately, the organizers of the show had to refund the money back to the people.

Because of this, the organizers are in a bit of a dilemma as they had already planned a huge promotional campaign with Sunny Leone in the future. Reports also suggest that because of Sunny Leone’s adult film star’s image, she was forced not to perform in Dubai.

Maybe Dubai suffered a loss more than the organizers did by not having to see the glamorous actress perform. But you don’t need to worry as you can always watch her thumke in her sleazy item number Laila teri loot legi of the film Shootout at Wadala which shall be releasing on May 1st.
