Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha was born on 2nd June 1987 to star parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. Born into a Bollywood family, it was natural for Sonakshi Sinha to become an actress.
Like most Bollywood actresses, Sonakshi Sinha started her career as a model. Sonakshi Sinha studied fashion designing at Shreemati Nathibai Thackersey Women’s University in Mumbai. She made her debut in the film industry with Dabangg where she was paired opposite Salman Khan. The movie did well at the box office and became the highest grossing Bollywood movie of 2010. Sonakshi Sinha got a lot of positive reviews for her performance and featured on the cover page of Maxim magazine the same year.
Sonakshi Sinha was seen in four movies in 2012. Prabhu Deva’s Rowdy Rathore received mixed responses from the critics but eventually was declared a blockbuster. Her next movie Joker received negative responses and failed miserably at the box office. Her last two movies, Son Of Sardar and Dabangg 2 did exceptionally well. As of 2012 Sonakshi Sinha has won 14 awards and has been nominated for four times. She was awarded Best Female Debut by Filmfare in 2011.
