The story revolves around the never ending feud between two families who keep avenging each other for the murder of their relatives. The present day generation has Jaswinder [Ajay Devgn] who is based in London and Balwinder [Sanjay Dutt] who is waiting for Jaswinder’s return to Punjab so that he can avenge the death of his father. Jaswinder presently happens to be unemployed and when he receives a letter from the Punjab Government asking about the sale of his property, he goes back to Punjab to finalise the deal. Fate has it its way and Jaswinder and Balwinder meet and Balwinder invites Jaswinder to stay over since he is new to Punjab. Soon Balwinder realises it’s the same Jaswinder that he has been waiting for and devises a plan to murder him while Jaswinder is busy romancing Sonakshi Sinha.
