“That I am releasing the film on Nov 22 is news to me also. Now people are deciding for me when I’ll release my film without my knowledge,” said Sohail.

“The way the shooting is going on, I might make it by the end of the year, Inshallah. But I haven’t locked in on a date yet,” added the actor-fillmaker who got into direction with 1997 “Auzaar” and “Mental” marks his fifth directorial venture.

Sources close to the film say Salman and Sohail aim to release “Mental” in the middle of December, weeks ahead of ‘Dhoom 3′.

“Salman wants Mental to make it by December. But he won’t let it clash with ‘Dhoom 3′. It stars two people who are very precious to him – Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif,” said the source.

Southern actress Daisy Shah will be seen playing the female lead in the movie, which also stars Sana Khan and Vatsal Seth, Ashmit Patel and Mukul Dev.

According to All India Film Employee Association(AIFEA) rules if the makers of the movie hire a stunt master of different region with respect to the movie language, then they must hire 70% of local stuntmen and 30% stuntmen from region pertaining to the stunt master. However, while shooting ‘Mental’ after Sohail Khan appointed a southern stunt master he did follow the rules and maintained perfect hire ratio, but Film Employees association of South India refused to send any of the stuntmen unless they hire 50% of them.

This is how the issue piled up and the shooting of mental got delayed for 12 days already and producers are bearing huge loss. Because they have already paid for the place rent and other staff.

As of now there is no resolve for the issue but AIEFA memebrs have started the talks with FEASI, lets hope everything falls into the place soon and Salman Khan smiles.

The star studded CCL team comprising of Sohail Khan, Suniel Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani and Bobby Deol, among others will now be seen challenge Members of Parliament like Sachin Pilot, Milind Deora, Dushyant Singh, as well as those with professional cricketing experience, like Mohd Azharuddin, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Kirti Azad. The game is supposed to be held on April 27 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

Though Salman Khan is usually present during a Mumbai Heroes games, it is alleged that he won’t be present this time. We wonder why? A source says, “He is trying his best to come and cheer for his team but we aren’t sure if he will be present,”. Buzz is that Sohail had to skip the anniversary celebrations of his wife’s spa as he wanted to avoid answering queries about his upcoming film.

“Sohail and Arbaaz were supposed to come for the event. But to avoid questions on his upcoming film (Mental) starring Salman, he decided against coming. He doesn’t want to speak on anything about the film right now,” a source is quoted as saying by a tabloid.

The first schedule of Mental recently came to an end in Dubai. Salman Khan starrer Mental has been in news ever since it was announced. Everyone was curious to know about the female lead, the story and other details. But Sohail, who has made a come back to direction after a long gap of seven years is not keen on divulging much about the film, especially at its nascent stage.

So was Seema, Sohail’s wife upset about her hubby’s absence on her big day??

Well, not at all! Seema, being an understanding wife, was fine with the hubby’s decision to skip the anniversary celebration of her spa.

While talking to the media, Salman Khan said: “From a T-shirt, Being Human has now grown into a full clothing line with its own stores. I am touched by the love people have shown for this brand.”

He added: “I feel there should be competition for doing charity. I think everyone should open a charitable trust and then see where it reaches and to what level.”

Bipasha Basu was a surprise guest. The actress has recently been on very good terms with the actor and also launched her fitness DVD Breakfree, on Bigg Boss 6, which has Salman Khan as it’s host.

The others spotted were Sohail Khan with wife Seema, Arbaaz Khan and wife Malaika Arora, Boney Kapoor, Vatsal Seth, David Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala.

Salman Khan himself appeared on the balcony of his house and waved at the media persons and fans camped outside.

The superstar has turned 47 yesterday and has every reason to be happy because it has been a terrific year for him professionally. His Ek Tha Tiger is the biggest blockbuster of the year and now Dabangg 2 looks like it’s gonna surpass Ek Tha Tiger’s collection at the B.O. is going strong at the box office. The film has already crossed the 100 crore mark.

Well, this a a perfect example of not mixing ones professional and personal life.

“He’s (SRK) a part of the industry and he is a very big star. He has his own IPL (Indian Premier League) team and if he would like to come and support CCL or any of the teams, there’s going to be games in Kolkata, Pune,” said the 42-year-old.

“We all are part of one industry, I still call him Shah Rukh Bhai, things don’t change. We all are a part of the industry and we all are friends, he is most welcome. We’ll be glad if he supports us,” he added.

We hope at least this will bring our two favorite Khan’s together.

Meanwhile, Riteish Deshmukh, who earlier belonged to team Mumbai Heroes, has now started his own CCL team named Veer Marathi. He hopes to beat his earlier team.

“When we play a cricket match, we will try our best to beat the opposite team and after winning we will give them a nice hug,” Riteish said here.
