The young Bollywood stars Siddharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur attended the special screening of Karan Kohar’s film Gippi held at Light Box Preview Theatre in Mumbai.

Also snapped at the special screening were Karan Johar, Divya Dutta, Riya Vij, Hard Kaur and Ayan Mukherjee.

Siddharth Malhotra wrote on Twitter: “Gippi took me back to school n reminded me of all the awkward moments I had back then, watch it guys you’ll have fun…”

Gippi’s music director Shekhar Ravijani tweeted, “Loads of love to the entire team of #gippi. It’s a beautiful film. Don’t miss it.”

According to Karan Johar, the producer of the film, “Honestly speaking, it’s (‘Gippi’) going to be a new experience for all of us because Dharma has never made such a film. We hope this one proves Dharma can also do small-budget films, but at the same time films that have content.”

While Riya was looking cute in a white dress, her onscreen mother Divya Dutta went stylish in a black outfit.

A source close to actor said that the house has bay windows and a lot of space. “He was keen on having space with perfect ventilation as well. He didn’t like to mess up the look of the house with a lot of furniture. The house has a sea facing view, and he likes to sit near the window gazing at the beautiful view,” the source added.

However, “The Student Of The Year” star still has to get used to the city’s traffic.

“Siddharth is still getting used to the traffic and honks, which never stops. Even though he loves being in Mumbai, he misses Delhi,” said the source.

“He loves his space, but even then Siddharth can’t find the open space in Mumbai like Delhi. He thinks that Mumbai is confined. According to him, the building and spaces are stuffy,” added the source.

The model-turned-actor shot for the ad for a new offering by Kwality Wall’s and, if a source close to Sidharth is to be believed, he is much in demand in the ad world. “He has recently signed his first solo ad for an ice cream brand that he will endorse. This is huge deal as it’s a well-established brand,” said the source.

Sidharth is said to have been chosen thanks to his chocolate boy looks and popularity amongst girls. Meanwhile, he has already signed two big films – “Hassi Toh Phasi” alongside Parineeti Chopra and Ekta Kapoor’s “The Villan”.

Six Bollywood actor and actress come have together to introduce Gippi to us. Wondering what and who is Gippi and what are we talking about. So here is the story.

Gippi is an upcoming movie from Karan Johar’s production house. Gippi is a story about an overweight 13 yr old girl. Playing Gippi is a teen from Delhi Riya Vij. To shoot the promo for this movie Karan Johar called 6 young actors namely Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, ArjunKapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Imran Khan. The music for the movie has been given by Vishal and Shekhar. The  movie is directed by Sonam Nair. Incidentally, Gippi is the first kids film to be produced by Karan.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is making a slight shift from his usual lovey dovey genre and is coming up with an out and out kids movie titled Gippi.

Directed by debutante Sonam Nair, the movie looks fresh and interesting. It is a story of an overweight child who hates dieting, a problem every youth faces today.

The film doesn’t feature big stars and so, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have been roped in to shoot special promos.

Apparently, Gippi is a story based on the directors real life, her unpleasant experiences — the bullying and teasing by classmates and her parents’ insistence that she diet.

Most of the shoot for the film was done in the scenic locales of Simla, while some portions are now being completed in Mumbai. The movie is set to release on May 10.

The look requires him to look brawny and even sport a different hair-do”

“Sidharth’s look is been worked upon right now. There are look tests which are happening. He will be seen in a different genre of film. Hence, his look is of uttermost important.So far eight to 10 looks have been tried on the actor”  added a source. Balaji Motion Pictures and director Mohit Suri are keen to position Sidharth Malhotra as the quintessential mass hero in the film, set in Mumbai.

Fans of Sidharth Malhotra need not be disappointed as another film that he is doing with a Parineeti Chopra for which he will be still be maintaining his chocolate boy image.

Its seems to be raining movies for the new charmer in Bollywood, Sidharth Malhotra. Its just been 4 months since his debut film released and already he has signed his fourth film. He is set to star in choreographer turned director Remo D’Sousa ‘s next untitled flick.

Remo who himself is riding high on the success of his third film  ABCD(Any Body Can Dance) is very happy that he has found a perfect person who can carry the whole film. Sources close to him say that this movie is going to be all about fast,flashy cars and screen scorching girls. It  will be made on the lines of Hollywood blockbuster franchise The Fast & The Furious. Sidharth Malhotra will sport a totally different image from the sweet caring boy image in “Student Of  The Year”.

This ambitious movie will be co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and UTV Productions. The film is set to roll in the end of this year. Incidentally this will be Sidharth Malhotra’s third film under his mentor Karan Johar’s Banner. First being Student of the Year, second “Hasee Toh Phasee” which is being directed by debutant director Vinil Mathew and third being this untitled venture with Remo.

A 2008 romantic comedy, Dostana was directed by Tarun Mansukhani and Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The film went on to become the eighth highest grossing film at the Indian box office that year.

Race 2

The Bollywood flick is an action thriller and was directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film was high on its glamour quotient with an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and Amisha Patel. The film is slowly making it to the 100 crore club.

Aisha

A rom com directed by Rajshree Ojha, the film Aisha starred Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead and Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh, Ira Dubey and Amrita Puri in supporting roles. One of the most stylish film in Indian cinema, Aisha did an above average business at the box office.

Cocktail

Yet another rom com, Cocktail is directed by Homi Adajania and stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in lead roles. The movie was a big time hit at the box office.

Student Of The Year

A romantic comedy film directed by Karan Johar, Student Of The Year, features newcomers Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles. The film was a hit among youngsters.
