Rubbishing the rumours, Deepika Padukone said, “That’s not true at all. Shah Rukh is the most encouraging person I have worked with. He is extremely proud of me and my achievements and he would never do something like that.” While the whole cast of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is busy with the film’s promotion and a global tour, Deepika wasn’t present at any promotional event so far.

Deepika Padukone had made her Bollywood debut opposite Shahrukh Khan, in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om. Speaking about it, she said, “Today, I am lot more confident and lot more comfortable around him. In the first film, I was just too shocked and too surprised about the fact that I have even got such a debut.”

Describing the experience of working with the King Khan, Deepika said, “He is definitely a friend. He has always been someone who I can rely on, or call on, at any point in the daytime or whatever. He is just somebody to talk to and he has been that person for me in Chennai Express as well.”

We hope this friendship reflects on screen, when Chennai Express is released in August!

While Salman Khan was busy shooting for his film Mental in South Goa, Shahrukh Khan was shooting for his film Chennai Express in North Goa. Previously, either of them used to walk out of an event when the other walked in. Thankfully, they didn’t have a problem being in the same state!

We’ve learned that Salman bhai has wrapped up his shoot as per schedule and is back in Mumbai now while SRK is continuing his shoot with Deepika Padukone. One can only imagine what would have happened had they run into each other! Given Sallu bhai’s clout and temper, should we call this as a narrow escape for SRK?

“Yes, I am contemplating with the idea of the sequel to ‘Baazigar’, but not right now. I am busy with my other projects. May be three to four years down the line, I will make a sequel to ‘Baazigar’,” Jain, whose brother Ganesh Jain had produced the crime thriller, told IANS.

“However, I will not make the sequel without Shah Rulh. So let’s see how things fall in place. It’s too early to comment on anything at this point of time,” he added.

“Baazigar”, the 1993 blockbuster, was Shah Rukh’s first blockbuster. Directed by Abbas-Mustan, the film introduced Shah Rukh and Kajol’s pair on the screen as well as introduced Shilpa Shetty in filmdom.

Meanwhile, Jain is set to roll out the sequel to “Dhadkan” with a fresh star cast. The 2000 hit love triangle had Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty.

“The film is in its scripting stage. It will be a fresh film and not a continuation. We won’t repeat the same star cast. It will have a new star cast,” said Jain.

Baazigar (1993)

Shahrukh Khan played a murderer in the 1993 film Baazigar. A pure thriller, which talks about a young man who doesn’t compromise one bit to get what he wants. The film was inspired by the novel A Kiss Before Dying. Shahrukh won the Filmfare trophy in the best actor category, that year.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

This 1995 love story created history, becoming one of the biggest Bollywood hits ever. The film also established SRK-Kajol as Indian cinema’s most loved on-screen couple. Sanjay Gupta has worked with his friend Sanjay Dutt many times but if reports are to be believed then he’s looking to get one of the Khans in his next venture.

The filmmaker is very close to Atul Agnihotri who is Salman’s brother-in-law and has also worked with Arbaaz in ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’, ‘Dus Kahaniya’ and ‘ Woodstock Villa’..

According to a source, ““Gupta and Salman’s sister’s husband Atul studied in the same class at Sydenham College and have been best friends since then. Gupta has been together with Atul since then and have seen Alvira and Atul through their dating to the wedding. He attended the wedding.”

Sanjay Gupta is yet to work with Salman Khan and with ‘Shootout At Wadala’ turning out to be a huge success, we might just see the combination of Salman and Sanjay Gupta together for a film soon. And after Shahrukh had asked Gupta to arrange for a special screening of ‘SAW’, we couldn’t stop but think about a Gupta-Shahrukh pair up for a movie.

Co-Incidentally, Salman Khan also has a rare nerve problem called trigeminal neuralgia. The Dabangg actor has been making trips to the United States to treat his nerve disorder which has been a constant bug in his movie assignments.
