Sameera Reddy was born on 14 December 1979 in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. She started her career appearing in several music videos. She made her debut in Bollywood with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in 2002 and next appeared in Darna Marna Hai in 2003. However her major breakthrough was in 2004 with Musafir. In 2012, Sameera Reddy was on the panel of judges for Miss Sri Lanka Online. As of 2013, she has appeared in over 23 movies in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali languages
