Ranvir Shorey was born on 18 August 1972 in Jalandhar, Punjab. Before making his debut in Bollywood, Ranvir was a VJ and TV host.
He made his debut in Bollywood with Ek Chhoti si Love Story in 2002 alongside Manisha Koirala, but the movie failed to perform well at the box office. His major breakthrough was Khosla Ka Ghosla and his performance received rave reviews. Since then he has starred in numerous movies like Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Honeymoon Travels Pvt,Ltd, Ugly Aur Pagli, Aaja Nachle, Mithya and Singh is Kinng which is his biggest hit so far.
Ranvir Shorey married his long time girlfriend and actress Konkona Sen Sharma on September 3, 2010 and they have a son, Haroon.
