Randeep Hooda was born on 20 August 1976 in Haryana. He was involved in acting plays while he was in school. Born in a rajput family, he moved to Australia to complete his graduation. He came back to India and was working in a airlines company as marketing manager. Randeep was modelling and acting in theatre plays while this time.
In this time he was offered in Mira Nair’s movie “Monsoon Wedding” which was a huge hit, but it did very less for his career. After 4 years he appeared in his film D, gangster film by RGV where he played character inspired by Dawood Ibrahim. But after this successful film, he acted in a string of flop movies. After 5 years, he acted as a cop in Once upon a time in Mumbai which turned out to one of the big hits of that year. From then on its no looking back for him. He acted in several successful films like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Jannat 2, Jism and Murder 3. He is all set to star in Karan Johar’s next movie Bombay Talkies.
