Ram Charan Tej was born on 27 March 1985 in Chennai to Tollywood superstar, Chiranjeevi and Surekha. He made his debut as an actor in Tollywood with Chirutha, which got him the Filmfare South Best Debutant Award and Nandi Special Jury Award. Ever since he has delivered hits like Magadheera, Orange and Rachcha. He is married to Upasana Kamineni, vice-chairman of Apollo Charity.
