Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was born on December 9 1974 in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan into a family of traditional musicians. From an early age he was trained by his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the art of classical music and Qawwali and since then has been a Qawwali and ghazals singer and other light music. He made his debut as a singer in Bollywood by composing Mann ki Lagan in the movie Paap, 2003.
He later went on to do many movies and gave out fantastic hits like Jiya Dhadak Dhadak (Kalyug), Naina (Omkara), Bol Na Halke Halke (Jhoom Barabar Jhoom), Teri Ore (Singh is Kinng), Rishte Naate (De Dana Dan), Dil Toh Bachacha Hai Ji (Ishqiya) and sensational hits like Tere Mast Mast Do Nain (Dabangg) and Teri Meri (Bodyguard). In April 2012 Rahat toured in the UK, performing for a combined audience of over 20,000 people.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is married to Nida Fateh Ali Khan and they have a son, Shaadman.
