Yash Raj Chopra (27 September 1932 – 21 October 2012) was an Indian film director, script writer and film producer. The late Mr Chopra was the chairman of the motion picture production and owned Yash Raj Studios. He was considered as one the best directors. Famously known as “King of Romance” in Bollywood, Yash Raj worked over five decades in Hindi cinema.

Priyanka Chopra doesn’t throw tantrums : Arjun Kapoor

Bollywood’s new blue-eyed boy Arjun Kapoor has come out in defense of his co-star Priyanka Chopra! The two actors have been working on Aditya Chopra’s Gunday and the last weeks have been abuzz with rumours of Priyanka Chopra’s unprofessional behaviour on the sets.

Laying these rumours to rest, Arjun Kapoor clarified, “Nothing like that ever happened with Priyanka. Honestly, I don’t even know what I should say for such matters. She has been a star for so many years and no tantrums have ever come into picture. She is too big to be indulging in such behaviour.” Buzz was that, Priyanka threw her weight around her co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Kapoor saying, she was much experienced,

A source has revealed that nothing as such actually happened on the sets and that, Priyanka is a dignified actress. Well, we could certainly agree on that! She wouldn’t have got this far, had she been throwing tantrums. While Arjun was quick to give his bits to the media, co-star Ranveer was unavailable for comments.

Recollecting his old days as an assistant director, Arjun Kapoor said, “I actually know her from even before the time when I had started off as an actor. I was an assistant on Salaam-e-Ishq and used to call her by saying – Madam, shot ready hai. Till date I tell her that Madam aap aaiye naa. The only difference is that earlier only she was in front of the camera and today both of us are. I am very fond of her and love her as an actor. She has not changed at all and that is the hallmark of a true star and an actor.”

Well, we could certainly agree on that because, one cannot possibly be a star by throwing tantrums!

For the last few weeks gone by, there have been rumours floating around Priyanka Chopra throwing her weight around on the sets of Gunday. It was also being said that she was making her co-stars (Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Kapoor) hear it loud and clear that she is the one who was the experienced lot around.

Well, as it always happens in instances like these, the ones who were said to be the disgruntled ones have a different story to tell.

“This is all coming out of thin air and nothing like that actually took place on location and in such sinister manner during the shoot of Gunday,” says a source, “Whenever there is a much hyped film in the making with good stakes involved, rumours of all kinds start floating around. This is just one of them. Priyanka is too dignified an actor to be actually throwing tantrums or have starry airs around her.”

While one waits to hear what Ranveer has to say about the alleged incidents (or the lack of them), Arjun comes out in open. “I am glad someone has asked me to at least clarify this, otherwise such loose talk is simply weird,” says Arjun, “Nothing like that ever happened with Priyanka. Saif and Priyanka to pair up?

You have never seen them together before. But we bet you’d love to! Priyanka Chopra and Saif Ali Khan would be one hot pair-up if at all things go well. Raj Nidimoru-Krishna DK, the director duo of the movie Go Goa Gone have planned a project which will be produced by Saif’s Illuminati Films.

“Although the makers are supposed to make a rom-com with Saif, they’reconsidering other options in terms of stories. They will take a final call in three-four days. The film’s team has also been in touch with Priyanka. So it’s highly likely that she will work with him,” says an insider.

When contacted, Raj says, “It’s too early to talk about the casting of our film.”

Priyanka Chopra and Saif Ali Khan! What a pair that would be! Let’s just keep our fingers crossed and hope we do see them together in a movie soon! Their charming personalities and effective acting skills might just steal the show!

Priyanka Chopra had a secret dinner date with American hunk Jon Hamm!

Jon Hamm, the hunk from the American television series Mad Men flew down to Mumbai to meet a Bollywood babe. Guess who? It’s Priyanka Chopra. The American television actor did not care much about this scorching heat and headed to Mumbai to meet the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra. The two were later spotted at a suburban nightclub over the weekend.

Though we know Priyanka is perfectly single, Jon Hamm’s presence in Mumbai – without his girlfriend actor-screenwriter Jennifer Westfeldet – has definitely made us go ahem.. ahem… Food for some ‘stimulating’ thought that is, BollywooodLifers!

Reports say that Jon Hamm, 42, had met Priyanka Chopra a year ago in Los Angeles, when the hot actress was preparing for her International music debut. As soon as Priyanka learnt about Jon Hamm’s arrival, she was quick to arrange a secret dinner with the actor while her other close buds, Mubina Rattonsey and Srishti Arya tagged along!

Though Priyanka Chopa is single, Jon Hamm is not, he has a girlfriend, actor-screenwriter Jennifer Westfeldet. Let’s hope it was nothing more than just friendship.

Colored denims are all the rage this summer. Pastels to bright colored pants add a playful edge to one’s look. But remember, just because it’s the current trend, it doesn’t mean you can abuse this look. Take a sneak peek into our Bollywood beauties’ wardrobes to build your own colored denim look.

Here are a few tips on carrying off the colored denim look.

Beginners, you can opt for pastel shades initially.

Make sure that your jeans fit you well. Unlike your regular denims, these jeans are not at all forgiving when it come to fit.

Pair your colored pants with a neutral shirt/tee like black, white or grey. If you are comfortable and confident enough to carry off this trend, try pairing them with prints and stripes for a more fun look.

Priyanka very keen with her item number Pinky

Priyanka Chopra’s first item song in Shootout at Wadala was overshadowed by the hot number by Sunny Leone. Moving on, Priyanka is not taking any chances for her next song Pinky. Apparently, she is very firm on getting her song in Zanjeer right. We hear the lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed had to go for a second round of refurbishment.

According to a source, “Initially Priyanka was very sure she wanted non-suggestive lyrics and movements. But then the words came out a little flat. So the lyrics had to be livened-up without losing their innocuousness. We finally zeroed in on these linesMumbai Na Dilliwallon Ki,Pinky Hai Dilwaalon Ki. Priyanka felt this was saucy but not suggestive. And we went with that. No one is allowed to call it an ‘item song’ because Priyanka wanted the number to be free from implications of commodifying women. It is called a special song.”

Sources say that the song, which was shot over the last four days in Mumbai last week, has seen some changes! Priyanka wants the song to be vulgarity-free, in the words of the source, the lyrics and movements should be “free of flab but nonetheless fab”. Seemingly, Ganesh Acharya was to make the song bigger, bouncier and brighter than Katrina’s Chikni Chameli. But without any pelvic thrusts, heaves and aggressive gyrations.

A tall order. The format of Priyanka’s ‘special song’ has been radically revised. While earlier Priyanka was to dance with Ramcharan Teja for the number she has now opted to sizzle solo for the song…well, sort of. Says the source from the sets, “Ram will have his own item song that would be used only in the Telugu version of Zanjeer. For Priyanka’s special song there are 100 male dancers… And keeping in mind the new censor board diktat for item songs specifying “no touching only dancing” all the male dancers had to maintain a hands-off position with Priyanka.”
