Sanjay Dutt is now associated with 3 movies which are Policegiri, Zanjeer and Peekay. Right now he is working very hard for the movie Policegiri. Its been said that Sanjay Dutt has been attending the shoot in the mornings and he is doing the dubbing work work in the nights.

He is going to follow the same schedule for Zanjeer and Peekay also. The producers are very much appreciating the commitment of Sanjay Dutt towards their movies. Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced to jail after it was proved that he was involved in the 1993 attacks of Mumbai which killed around 257 people. And Sanjay Dutt was also found guilty of keeping weapons like AK-56 at his place illegally without any license.

On the other hand Sanjay Dutt needs around one month to finish off the projects which are left incomplete, south superstar Ram Charan’s Zanjeer needs him for 3 days, Aamir Khan’s” P.K” requires him for 7 days and he needs to spare 17 days to wrap up his part in “policegiri”.

A close friend of Sanjay told media “Inspite of the shock that he went through on (March 21) Thursday (of hearing the honourable Supreme Court’s verdict), Sanju Sir assured the ‘Zanjeer’ director Apoorva Lakhia, ‘P.K.’ maker Rajkumar Hirani and the ‘Policegiri’ producer T.P.Aggarwal that their films would be completed. Sanju Sir told them, ‘Boss, let’s complete the shooting and my dubbing. Pataa nahin aage kya hoga”

Sanjay Dutt needs to surrender to the Supreme Court within 4 weeks after verdict. He has already started to act in “Zanjeer” as per the schedule; he needs to make it super-fast without very repeated takes if he wants to wind up the shooting before he enters the central jail.

Whole Bollywood is in shock after getting to know Supreme Court’s verdict on Sanjay Dutt. Now Sanjay Dutt cannot appeal for a bail because the verdict is from Supreme Court  which is the last place where any Indian citizen can appeal to prove his innocence.

Dutt’s list of upcoming films include Dharma Productions’ Ungli, Ashta­vinayak’s Sher, Reliance Entertainment’s Zanjeer, Aamir Khan Productions’ P.K. and Policegiri. Even Vinod Chopra Films recently announced the third installment of the Munnabhai series. Also, a cameo in Ghanchakkar has been announced. Speaking of the affect this verdict is going to have on his films, trade analyst Taran Adarsh said,” “The films he is working on will be affected but then you also need to consider that he is not playing the lead roles in all of them. Like even in Zanjeer, it is only the supporting roles. We’ll have to find out the amount of work that he has completed in these films and then calculate the losses. I think Policegiri will be affected the most as he plays the lead in it.”

While Sher, Ungli and the cameo in Ghanchakkar have finished their schedule with Sanjay Dutt, the upcoming film of the Munnabhai series will be not be affected much considering the fact that it has just been announced.

Policegiri will be the most adversely affected since the actor is playing the lead role. The film is a remake of Tamil film Saamy and will star Prachi Desai opposite Sanjay Dutt. The film’s producer Rahul Aggarwal says, “Sanjay was nearing the end of his shoot for the film. The entire team is shocked and shattered. We are hoping for a change in the sentence as there is still a chance to file a review petition against the verdict.” The film’s schedule was about 20 days, of which Sanjay has completed four days of shooting. ₹35-40 crore is now at stake!

According to a close friend of the actor, “He will complete the films if the police allow him to. Even his passport and driving licence have already been confiscated. Whether or not he’ll complete the films is something that only time can tell.” Sanjay Dutt has been given a period of four weeks to surrender. However, his team is reportedly looking for ways to complete the shoot and they are leaving no stone unturned.

Another film that is one of the most-awaited is Zanjeer, where Dutt will be seen reprising the role of Pran. ₹60 crore are at stake for this film which stars actor Ram Charan Teja in Amitabh Bachchan’s role. Sanjay Dutt’s look in the film has been carefully guarded and was expected to be revealed later. Aamir Khan’s much-hyped P.K., that has ₹60 crore at stake, also stars Dutt in a supporting role.

Irrfan Khan’s variety of roles and ability to project himself in front of the camera with such ease has seemingly impressed Sushant. The success of Kai Po Che! has turned the cards for this actor as he has bagged roles in a few noteworthy productions. In the latter, he’s paired with Parineeti Chopra.

While there is a buzz that he has rejected an offer to work with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, his spokesperson refuted such rumours and said,”So far, he has not been contacted by either. They are huge names in the industry, so if he was approached, why would he decline such good offers?”. True!

Confirming the news, Subhash Kapoor said “Right now, I am completely tied up with ‘Jolly LLB’ and after the film’s release, We will start scripting for ‘Munnabhai’. So most probably the film will go on the floors early next year. Nothing has been finalized yet. Once Raju Hirani gets free from ‘Peekay’, we will sit together and discuss the film. Right now only one thing has been finalised that I will be direct the film. Nothing more than that.”

Munnabhai movies have been a satirical comedy films and Subhash’s last two releases have also been in the same genre. That may be the reason behind his signinig. Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Film maker Rajkumar Hirani had released a trailer of Munnabhai Chale America long back which created lots of curiosity, But the film stopped due to some unknown reasons. Some sources also claimed the third installment to be similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘My Name Is Khan’.

The last two Munnabhai versions had strong messages and were money-spinner’s at the Box Office. We are wondering what will the subject of the film be.

Peekay went on floors early February and will have a 45-day schedule in Rajasthan. The film stars Anushka Sharma as the female lead. Also, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt play a cameo in the film. Aamir plays an alcoholic in the movie

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt, have started bonding over their exercise regimens on the sets of the film.

On reaching Rajasthan, director Rajkumar Hirani zeroed in on a far off location for his cast and crew.

Initial three days, everyone including Aamir stayed there but later, the actor faced a bit of a problem. “Aamir couldn’t set up a gym in the haveli since it did not have the required amenities,” says an insider close to the project. “And since he needs to maintain his physique for Dhoom:3, he requested Hirani if he could shift to a nearby hotel. Hirani had no problems,” says the source.

Adds the source, “Once Aamir reached the hotel, he immediately converted a conference room into a gym where he works out every day. And soon, even Sanjay, who’s known for maintaining his chiseled physique, joined Aamir.”
“Since Sanjay sir is also particular about his workouts, he joined Aamir in the hotel. Except for their stay and workouts, both the actors make sure they hang out with the entire team while they shoot in and around Mandawa,” adds the insider.
