Aamir Asks Jiah To Learn How To Act
Acting along with the Perfectionist Khan must be a dream for many actresses but it sure isn’t easy. And that we learn from Kangana Ranaut and Jiah Khan.
Kangana Ranaut was supposed to be Aamir’s original choice to play the medical student in the film, but Kangana put the kulhadi on her own foot when she leaked the news to the press before the formal press meet of the film. Aamir was surely disappointed with Kangana’s unprofessional attitude. So he dropped her and roped in Jiah Khan.
Kangana who thought of herself as a better actor than Jiah was greatly hurt. So she vents out her frustration by spewing venom on Jiah.
Apparently she said, “Sometimes its destiny but at least I wasn’t sent to acting classes by Aamir when he had selected me like he sent Jiah. He was confident about my acting skills!”
I hope its not one of those cases of ‘Sour Grapes’ as we’d like to call it.

Phoonk Movie Review
Okay folks… this movie is NOT scary. Ram Gopal Varma should probably apply for a course in Hollywood to learn how to experiment with his technique in handling horror films. He ends up making Phoonk similar to Vaastu Shastra, Bhoot and Raat.
Ram Gopal Varma has only few fear-inducing-tools in his kitty- a creepy background score, shocking sound effects and hovering camera movements and focusing on irrelevant things around the house to incite an anticipatory fear. Honestly, these are techniques which just shock you at instances as an involuntary response to the stimulus. I watched the entire movie just waiting to be scared and trust me, I wasnt scared one bit.
The story is cliched – child possessed, disbelieving so-called scientific and atheist father and their mind torn between belief and disbelief. And a very predictable ending towards the end. A little kid Ahsaas Channa acted well for her age and the only one you could appreciate after walking out of the theatre.
On the whole I would say – All hype no Show.

Maan Gaye Mughal e Azam Movie Review
After a rather intense film Mumbai Meri Jaan, Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam seemed like a glass of soda but without the fizz.
If I had one word to describe the movie and the experience of watching it would say – MEDIOCRE. Right from the story, to performances, to music, to the entire film… everything was mediocre.
The story is about a small town theatre company who gear up and save the nation from the bomb blasts.
In an ordinary situation the movie wouldnt have hurt so much but after watching Paresh Rawal excel in his role in the movie Mumbai Meri Jaan, watching him in MGMA was painful. He is an actor par excellence and roles like these don’t do enough justice to him.
On the whole its a fairly watchable film, it may work for many people but it didn’t work for me.

SRK refuses to shoot for Farah, if BIG B is onboard
Farah Khan owes her success to superstar Shahrukh Khan and will cater to his demands and liking even if he demands a change in script or throwing out another actor.
Farah Khan recently faced some problems for his next flick, Happy New Year, as her main hero SRK refused to shoot the film with Amitabh Bachchan – the other hero of the film. The cold war between AB and SRK has been going on for quite awhile now. So Farah Khan who considers SRK as her best buddy rescripted Amitabh Bachchan’s character finally removing him from the movie.
Farah says, “Yes, I am finally going ahead with Happy New Year. We have made some changes in the earlier script. The truth is, I wanted to make Happy New Year before Om Shanti Om. I plan to have an interesting cast along with Shah Rukh. But, I still haven’t decided how many of the actors will be established and how many will be newcomers.”
Farah will be start shooting for the film at the end of the year.
After Tashan, Saif-Kareena to Jashan
Real life couple, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will be coming together the next month to rock Dubai and start a Jashan with their first single show together in Sharjah.
The couple is already an item for movies and endorsements and now they are cashing on their relationship with the shows.
Morani brothers who have roped the lovebirds for live performances will direct the show aptly titled – Jashan 2008.
A source says, “Kareena has a huge fan following in Dubai. So has Saif! When the Moranis approached them to come together for a show, the first of its kind, both, Kareena and Saif were thrilled! They agreed instantly.”
Apart from Saif-Kareena the show also has Minnisha Lamba. The trio would solo perform and the couple will set the stage on fire by performing together.
Kareena is equally excited on prospect of the show, “I am very excited because this is for the first time that Saif and I will be performing together on stage.”

A comedy spoof on Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan has been branded as God by fellow actor and friend Saif Ali Khan and this is the god newbie director Ajay Varma is turning to for the success of his first movie.
His movie is titled- Ek SRK, now the first thing that comes into our minds when we read the title is that the movie has got something to do with the Baadshah.
But apparently its not as director Ajay Verma puts it. SRK stands for Shivaji Rao Khote and will be played by funny man Vinay Pathak.

Shekhar Suman’s son expresses his love for Kangana Ranaut
Well the mystery is finally out Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan Suman is dating hot actress Kangana Ranaut.
The rumors started on the sets of Mohit Suri’s Raaz- The Mystery Continues. When Adhayayan was recently quizzed about Kangana he said, “Yes, I am seeing Kangana. I am in a serious relationship with her. It’s not that we got close in South Africa; we were dating since quite some time but I didn’t want to talk about it so quickly. It’s time that I put an end to all speculations.”
Adyayan adds, “Kangana knows that I am talking about our relationship to you; I have told her. I am madly in love with her.”
Asked if the fire is equal on both sides he said, “Of course, Kangana loves me as much as I love her! She is the best girl I know. She is also a very talented actress. She was superb in Gangster and I have seen all her films except Shakalaka Boom Boom.”
