If buzz is to be believed, it is heard that Siddharth left Deepika for Sonam Kapoor. If a TV news channel is to be gone by, it is said that Sid is now wooing the Kapoor beauty. Recently, the liquor barons son was all praises for Sonam’s fashion sense.

The Indian Film industry will be shut down on February 23 to protest against Central Government’s proposal to levy service tax which would increase the cost of film making. What’s still unknown is that if the strike will be for a day or continue longer.
An industry insider informs, “While the cinema industry would definitely suffer due to the strike, most members of the fraternity have decided to support it. The imposition of service tax will cripple the filmmaking process. The Central Government has proposed a service tax of nearly 10.3 per cent. This is not a small percentage. The budget of many films would be hit rather badly.”
According to filmmaker Ratan Jain, a strike is possibly not the right way to oppose Central Government’s proposal. He said, “I have received a letter in this regard. A strike is not the right answer to our woes in this regard. The strike would only make us lose money. A proper representation by the film industry which can address the Finance Ministry would be the right way to solve this.”
And once again, Madhur Bhandarkar would be affected with this strike, as the shoot of his ambitious film Heroine, starring Kareena Kapoor would have to be stalled on February 23. Also, if the service tax proposal is passed, Bhandarkar’s budget might increase. “The budget of Heroine was finalised about seven months back. I certainly don’t approve of this,” said a rather displeased Bhandarkar.
Mahesh Bhatt, too expressing his displeasure and supporting the strike, said, “The government has been apathetic to the film industry. Add to this the service tax, which is certainly not welcome. We need to shut shop so that the government sits up and takes notice of this.”

If the latest buzz is to be gone by, it seems Kareena Kapoor is pregnant. Well, in a recent picture clicked at the airport, the actress was spotted wearing an over sized tee, trying to hide her baby bump, with a shawl.
It is also heard that the actress looked worn out and was captured zooming out of the airport. At a recent award event too, the actress draped a transparent saree and many thought her to be carrying.
The news of Bebo-Saif’s engagement to take place on the 10th of this month is confirmed. However, the couple will tie the knot only once their film ‘Agent Vinod’ releases. .
Currently, she is busy promoting her upcoming film, ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ which is slated for 10th Feb release.

Ranbir Kapoor under the knife!
Ranbir Kapoor is unwell. The actor was admitted in Breach Candy hospital yesterday morning, to undergo a small surgery. There was a cyst formation on the actors back. It was a minor operation and Ranbir was discharged a few hours after the surgery took place.
Confirming the news, a close friend of Ranbir said, “Ranbir has been operated for a sebaceous gland problem. The surgery was minor.”
“His Barfi! schedule was cancelled for a few days since his co-star Ileana was down with food poisoning. Ranbir can resume the schedule if he wants,” added the friend.
Ritesh-Genelia now Husband and Wife!
What a beautiful couple.. 8 years together and now Ritesh and Genelia are now husband and wife. Together, they make a picture perfect.
The wedding took place at the suburban Grand Hyatt hotel on 3 Friday.
The groom was all decked up for the D day in a white sherwani and red turban. Waving to the onlookers, Ritesh entered the venue on a Ghodi. He was glowing with excitement.
The super cute and bubbly Bride was dressed in a red and gold lehenga designed by Ritu Kumar. Needless to say, she looked stunning.
It was a Maharashtrian wedding for the couple.
The guest list included: Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Asin, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Ashutosh Gowariker, Sajid Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Satish Shah, Jacky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani and Ramesh Taurani. The wedding saw the presence of a lot of politicians as well.
Announcing his wedding on the social networking site, Riteish Deshmukh posted a pic of him with his oh so gorgeous wifey.
Agneepath soaring high!
Bollywood’s first blockbuster of the year is Agneepath. The film has collected a whopping sum of Rs. 92 crore net at the box office.
We had already predicted this on the opening day itself, after the film collected Rs 23 crore.
The film did start to dip throughout the week, however, at the ed, its managed a heartening collection of 92 crore, making it a superhit.
Now that the film didn’t face any competition so far, it might soon reach the 100 crore club.
The next big release would be Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu on February 10.
‘I’ll Do The Talking’ from ‘Agent Vinod’!
Agent Vinod is out with its first song titled ‘I’ll Do The Talking’. The music and video looks quite impressive.
Indian remake of the Boney M chart-buster Rasputin, I’ll Do The Talking sees Saif Ali Khan in a club in Russia, doing a deep investigations on something. The video also sees hot models turning and twisting, adding glamor to the song.
Kareena Kapoor is also seen in a few parts of the video, though we are not very clear about the role that she is essaying.
Basically the song has an universal appeal. We simply loved every bit of the video..
