Neetu Singh Kapoor

Neetu Singh also known as Neetu Kapoor was born on 8 July 1958 in Chandigarh, Punjab. Born as Harmeet Kaur, she started her career in Bollywood under the name of Baby Sonia and the age of 8. Since then, she has appeared in over 60 films of which 11 are with Rishi Kapoor, her husband.

She made her debut as a leading actress in Rikshawala in 1972, which failed to impress the audience or the critics. She shot to fame after her song, Leekar Hum Dewaana Dil in Yaadon Ki Baarat. She was then offered main stream roles in movies like Rafoo Chakkar, Khel Khel Mein, Kabhi Kabhi, Jaani Dushman, Kaala Patthar. Neetu Singh was at the peak of her career when she got married and decided to retire. She has two children actor, Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani
