Nargis Fakhri
Nargis Fakhri is a half Czech- half Pakistani model and actress. Based in New York, the model appeared in the 2009 Kingfisher swimsuit calendar. Fakhri appeared on America’s Next Top Model Cycles 2 and 3 in 2004.
Fakhri is signed with Ford Models in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Miami, NOVA Models in New Zealand, Leni’s Models in London, ANC models in Hamburg, Scoop Models in Denmark, La Agencia in Spain, Mannequin Studio in Singapore, SG Planet Models in India and CESD for television. She also endorses Parachute Hair Oil.
The American born actress made her debut in the 2011 with Imtiyaz Ai’s film Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The movie went on to become a superhit both in terms of story and music. The Critic Rajeev Masand said of her performance in the film,”Nargis Fakhri is lovely to look at.” Taran Adarsh commended her chemistry with Ranbir and mentioned,” the chemistry between Ranbir and Nargis is exhilarating.”
Nargis will next be seen in Shoojit Sarcar’s film Madras Express. She will be seen opposite John Abraham in the film. She is all set to play the role of a journalist in this film. The movie is based on the theme of terrorism.
