After the very successful Paan Singh Tomar that has already attained a cult status, Tigmanshu Dhulia is back with Irrfan Khan for the second time with ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns’, a sequel to the 2011 hit Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster.

The sequel stars Jimmy Shergill, Irrfan Khan, Mahie Gill and Soha Ali Khan in the lead roles.

The first part of the film saw deep intimacy between lead character. However, the sequel will see less sensuality.

“There is sensuality in the film (sequel) but it is in little measure. I think it is effective only like that. I feel it should have right amount of passion and sex. I think if you show too much then it might look bad also,” Tigmanshu told reporters.

Actors Soha Ali Khan and Irrfan, who weren’t in the cast of the original film, will be part of this new installment.

The film is set against the backdrop of politics among the royal families, revolving around a begum, her nawab and an ambitious young man.

Sahib Biwi and Gangster Returns will hit theatres on March 8.

Can it get any better? Madhuri and Juhi, both of them were top actresses in the late 80′s and 90′s but they never shared screen space together. And maybe Anubhav Sinha has already got it right, with directing both the powerful performers in Gulab Gang. Anubhav thought of Juhi when he watched Son Of Sardar, for which Juhi has been applauded for her superb acting.

Anubhav was in high regard of both the female leads while talking to the media. He said: “Gulab Gang is about two iconic female characters. I couldn’t have pulled off a better cast than the two most iconic female stars, Madhuri and Juhi, together for the first time on Indian screen.”

According to Anubhav, the film is an action-drama with two women at loggerheads. And that’s why he needed two actresses who could give their best performances.

Madhuri Dixit has already started working for the film, she is busy selecting her costumes and getting the right look for the role. Juhi is very excited about the film. The movie also stars actress Mahi Gill and Shilpa Shukla, who are also powerhouses of acting.

Gulab Gang is based on a true incident and an all-female gang called ‘Gulabi Gang’ from Uttar Pradesh’s Bundelkhand region. The gang stands for women suffering from domestic violence and other social problems.

Mahi Gill had to get drunk on vodka at 8 in the morning for her upcoming flick Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2! Well, the actress apparently plays a drunkard in the film and to get into the skin of her character, she had to drink vodka. If reports are to be believed, the actress was completely sloshed.

Buzz also has it that while she was high, the crew members had a gala time at her expense, watching the drunk Mahi..

Meanwhile, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2 is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. Neha Dhupia will be featuring an item number. While Randeep Hooda, Jimmy Shergill and Mahi Gill are still a part of the lead cast, Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan have also been roped in.
