Sujay Ghosh who made his debut through Jankaar beats has then delivered duds like “Home Delivery” and “Alaadin”, but he came back very strongly with “kahaani” which won him many awards and became a surprise hit at the box office. He is now all set to make another suspense thriller with even better cast.

Through Kahaani Vidya Balan has won numerous awards and delivered a rare female centric blockbuster. In the upcoming Sujay Josh movie she will be acting along with 2 veteran actors. she acted with Big B in award winning movie “Paa” and she acted with Nasseruddin Shah in the dark romantic-comedy “Ishqiya” and also in another award winning movie “The Dirty Picture”.

The movie is being titled as Badla and the filming will be starting soon once the official announcements are done.

At the prestigious Filmfare awards on Sunday (January 20), Vidya Balan bagged the ‘Best Actor (female)’ title, while Sujoy Ghosh was named the best director.

Vidya said that she’s waiting to hear the script for the second installment of the film.

“Ask Sujoy, I am very excited to know which ‘Kahaani’ he has written. So, let’s see,” the 33-year-old said here Sunday at the 58th Filmfare awards.

Vidya Balan further added: “When we started ‘Kahaani’, only two people were associated with it, Sujoy and me. But later others joined in. We tried to make a good film, people liked it and we have grabbed a lot of other awards for the film till now.”

Also featuring Parambrata Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kahaani is going strong at the awards function.
