He also blamed the way the film was marketed. ” The film was marketed as love triangle between me, Prachi and Chitrangada but the movie is very far from that. If we marketed our film the way it is not concentrating too much on the glamour quotient then the movie would have worked a lot better,” he added.

He justified by saying” Teenagers, who form most of my fan base, have been busy with their exams and could not watch the film. Each of us have given our best to make this film work, I think the film could have been a victim of unfortunate timing. ”

John Abraham is currently working in his next movie “Shootout at Wadala” and recently reports suggest that he approached Anurag Kashyap to make a sequel to the movie “No Smoking”.

Jigar,  is not ready to own up. “This is to inform everyone that we have NOT COMPOSED songs for I ME AUR MAIN ..We have just arranged the tracks…that also only 3 track,” Jigar had tweeted on Tuesday. When we called him, he said, “The songs for I, Me Aur Main were arranged by my assistants after the project got delayed. When the producers came to us again in mid-January, I was about to get married, so I delegated the arrangement to my assistants. People who doubt us can hear our previous albums to see if we have got talent or not.” Incidentally, the composer duo had earlier assisted Pritam for four years.
Sachin further clarified, “We are very upset that we have been credited as the guest composers for this film. We just arranged music for three songs, that too as a favor to the music label’s owner, Bhushan Kumar. The tune of the song is owned by the label. So, when the CD cover came out and we saw our names as guest composers, we expressed our displeasure to Bhushanji. For the last 10-odd days we have been fighting to rectify the mistake. This allegation is adding insult to the injury. It’s sad that we are getting flak for someone else’s composition.”

In the movie, John plays a live-in boyfriend to Chitrangada Singh.

“This is the right casting of John because I must say that he’s selfish and all of that, but there is a default setting in men that they are genetically self centred,” Chitrangada says.

Chitrangada also calls John’s character in the film “an adorable jerk” and also says, John in real life too is a “a bit like that”.

Well, if you recollect, we had reported about John’s confession in a recent interview. He himself admitted that he is not a perfect man. In fact, he thinks he is the most imperfect guy, one can find.

“I am not perfect. I am the most imperfect man. Any man who says that he is perfect, trust me, it’s a lie. I have tried. I have lied… I am trying to be a better human being,” John recently confessed at I Me Aur Main press meet.

Paying tribute to all women through the movie “I Me Aur Main”, the 40-year-old says, “The film is releasing on March 1st and March 8th is Women’s Day, so this film is dedicated to all the women. It’s a tribute to women,” he said.

John also described his kind of girl. He said, “Definitely, she will be simple. The beauty about any relationship is its simplicity. Just settle down with the one with whom you have a connection.”

We have already seen John Abraham as a self-obsessed guy in the first trailer of “I, Me Aur Main”. The makers of the film have come out with their forst song titled Na Jaane Kahan Se Aaya Hai, which sees the star romancing two hotties – Prachi Desai and Chitrangada Singh.

The song is a rehashed version of Sridevi’s popular song from the super hit Chaalbaaz. However, the new version has changed lyrics to suit John’s character in the film. The video sees both the heroines sizzling with John, who is the ultimate dream boy.

This is John’s first rom-com which sees him play the solo male lead and is set against an urban backdrop.

“It’s a feel-good film with something for everyone. ” says Shrishti Behl Arya, who, along with Goldie Behl, has produced the film.

The film is directed by Kapil Sharma, son of noted astronaut, Rakesh Sharma, and also stars Zarina Wahab, Raima Sen and Mini Mathur. I, Me Aur Main will hit big screen on March 1.

John Abraham is all set to steal the show with Kapil Sharma’s ‘I, Me Aur Main’, where he plays the role of a self-obsessed and self-centered guy, who just cant stop admiring himself in the mirror. He contemplates: “So who’s the best?” and soon concludes “I am the best”.

John Abraham (Ishaan) is a good looking music producer from Mumbai, who takes for granted everyone around him, including his girlfriend Chitrangada Singh (Anushka). Ishaan apparently lives in Anushka’s apartment. Slowly, things begin to change for Ishaan as all the relationships he took for granted begin to end one by one. Enters Prachi Desai (Gauri Dandekar), the girl next door and Ishaan is falls in love with her.

There comes a point where Ishaan starts taking initiatives towards mending and maintaining his past relationships.

It is heard that Prachi recently shot for a promotional video with co-star John Abraham recently.

The official trailer of the film co-produced by Shrishti Arya, Goldie Behl, Pollen Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment was released on Monday. The film directed by Kapil Sharma also stars Zarina Wahab, Raima Sen and Mini Mathur.
