Esha Gupta was born on 28 November 1985. Born to a family of retired air-force officer and homemaker in Delhi, Esha Gupta was pursuing her education in Mass Communication before she auditioned for Femina Miss India. She stood third in the pageant.

Starting her full fledged career as a model, she was featured in the Kingfisher Calender in 2010. Esha Gupta made her debut in Bollywood alongside Emraan Hashmi in Mahesh Bhatt’s Jannat 2. The movie was a commercial success and got Esha the required fame. Later in 2012 Esha appeared in Raaz 3 and this was also a blockbuster. As of 2013 Esha has one upcoming movie under Vishesh Films.
