Katrina Kaif and Aditya Chopra’s fall out after three successful films?

Katrina Kaif seems to be annoying a lot of close people recently. Her issues with Salman Khan became public when she was openly spotted with Ranbir Kapoor and now, if reports are to be believed, the hot actress is having issues with her former mentor Aditya Chopra, with whom she worked in three big budget films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and the upcoming ‘Dhoom 3′.

Rumour has it that Katrina Kaif has rejected doing ‘Gunday’ which stars Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. And this has not been taken lightly by director Aditya Chopra and has seemed to upset him. It’s been said that Katrina Kaif was more keen to work with Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Bang Bang’, which is a remake of the English movie, ‘Knight & Day’.

Apparently, Aditya Chopra had to make last minute calls to Priyanka Chopra and have her replace Kartina for the project. Reports also suggest that top executives at the YRF building are also not okay with Katrina Kaif’s attitude.

According to a source, “Katrina has become very difficult to work with. She has been giving her own staff like her makeup artist and hair dresser lot of grief. It seems she is frustrated at not being able to get any meaty acting roles which are being taken up by the likes of Kareena, Deepika and Anushka. She feels that her ‘Barbie doll’ image won’t take her longer and she needs to win some acting awards in the near future.”

Now this makes us think that if at all she had taken Adi’s advice and signed up for ‘Gunday’, she might have been alright with the whole crew.

Aamir Khan wants YRF to stop after Dhoom 3?

According to sources, Aamir Khan has insisted on a special clause in his contract with Yash Raj Films, for his upcoming movie, Dhoom 3.

The clause said that the production company will not make any more movies of the Dhoom Franchise after Dhoom 3. It may be recalled that it was John Abraham’s Dhoom which inspired the makers to make a sequel or a franchise of the film. Aamir is doing the negative role in the movie which was earlier played by John and Hrithik Roshan is Dhoom and Dhoom 2 respectively. But Aamir wants his movie to be the last of the Dhooms!

And according to sources, YRF has agreed to this difficult condition. The spokesperson from YRF however maintains that there is no such clause. “The Dhoom franchise will go on,” he says. Along with Aamir, Dhoom 3 stars Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. Aamir remained unavailable for comment. Dhoom released in 2004 and Dhoom 2 in 2006. Dhoom 3 is expected to release on the Christmas day this year.

And rumour has it that, YRF has agreed to his difficult clause. However, the spokesperson from YRF insists that, “ The Dhoom franchise will go on.”

Apart from Aamir Khan, Dhoom 3 stars Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. Dhoom 3 is expected to release on the Christmas eve this year.

Arshad, Vivek salute Aamir Khan on silver jubilee in filmdom

Actor Arshad Warsi, who shares screen space with Aamir Khan in “P.K.”, says the Indian film industry needs more people like the actor-filmmaker, who made his Bollywood debut 25 years back on this date.

Aamir’s first film “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” (QSQT) released on this day in 1988.

“Actors like Aamir Khan should stay in the industry for as long as possible. We need more actors with the dedication that Aamir has, so that our industry can match international standards,” Arshad said here at the launch party of Samsung’s newest mobile offering S4.

Calling Aamir a “phenomenon”, actor Vivek Oberoi said: “I am a big fan of not only his work, but even his professional ethics.”

Vivek is yet to work with Aamir, but says “the way he works is a great inspiration for all of us.”

Aamir, 48, has been busy shooting for “P.K.” and “Dhoom 3″.

Aamir Khan postpones Dhoom 3′s shooting for P.K.

Aamir Khan, who is not in the best of his form after his sensational hit ‘3 Idiots (2009)’ but now he could get back into the business with a bang. He has two exciting movies in his hand one is Dhoom 3 which is the 3rd installment of the super hit Dhoom series and other one is ‘P.K’ which is directed by Rajkumar hirani.

However, Aamir Khan is not able to manage his dates properly between the two movies which resulted in delay of Dhoom 3‘s shoot. Apparently Aamir Khan asked Dhoom 3’s crew to push the shooting schedule further until he finishes the first schedule of ‘P.K’ in Rajasthan.

On the other hand Dhoom 3’s shooting is supposed to happen in Switzerland where the whole movie is based but they had to postpone the schedule for Aamir Khan but according to the producer Dhoom 3 will be released on time without any procrastination irrespective of its delay in the schedule.

Dhoom 3 is all set to release this Christmas which is Aamir Khan’s trademark season to release his films. Movie is directed by Vijay Acharya who wrote the screenplay and dialogues for the 1st 2 movies of Dhoom series and delivered a box-office dud ‘Tashan’.Lets see if Vijay will deliver a blockbuster or will replicate the outcome of his debut venture.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2

Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan pair up for the sequel to the blockbuster Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. The sequel will show the Mumbai bomb blast and how Dawood Ibrahim rose to power. This one is surely going to be worth the wait.

Chennai Express

All eyes are on Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone once again. the duo have been paired together once again, this time for Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express. The first posters of the film released today, and going by what we saw on the posters, this one is going to be a typical Rohit Shetty entertainer.

Krrish 3

Hrithik Roshan will be returing to the super hero avatar once again. The actor has been going through strict workout sessions for a super body. Krrish 3 promises to be a high octane action flick, with VFX hitherto unseen in Bollywood.

Dhoom 3 is the most awaited film of the year. Everyone’s waiting to watch Aamir Khan as a villain on screen. The other new addition to the cast is Katrina Kaif. Besides that, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles as the cops.

The first poster of Dhoom 3 revealed!

And the promotions for Dhoom 3 have already started. Aditya Chopra had a special surprise planned for all Dhoom fans. They unveiled the first poster of the much awaited film Dhoom 3 : Back In Action.

Dhoom 3 will see Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra reprise their roles as the two cops Jai and Ali. But the film also stars a new addition to the cast, Aamir Khan as the mastermind thief and Katrina Kaif. Dhoom 3 is slated to release next Christmas.

Abhishek Bachchan recently said at the Big Star Entertainment awards that the film was 50 per cent complete. “The status of Dhoom 3 is we are currently about 50 per cent through, we have just come back from a marathon schedule in the States (United States). Now we resume our indoor work in Mumbai.”

Katrina Kaif, the newest entry into the Dhoom group, also revealed recently that she was shooting for the movie with Aamir Khan who plays a negative role in the film.

Esha Deol wishes Katrina Kaif luck for Dhoom 3

Actress Esha Deol who starred in the first part of the Dhoom series has wished Katrina luck for her role in the upcoming Dhoom 3 movie.

Esha said, “I am sad that I am not a part of the whole franchise. But I wish Katrina lives up to the expectations that come with the ‘Dhoom‘ tag. I am sure she will because she is a brilliant actress.”

Katrina will be the new entrant into the Dhoom franchise along with superstar Aamir Khan. The movie is slated to release in 2013.

The movie, in which she was seen in a super stylish avatar, showed her dancing mettle with the film’s title track, Dhoom macha le which went on to become the biggest hit of the year. Even though Dhoom gave Esha a new lease of life, the actress couldn’t deliver much as an actress since then.

Asked about her plans to return to the silver screen, Esha, who was last seen in mother Hema Malini’s “Tell Me O Kkhuda”, said, “If any decent and respectful offer comes up then I will be a part of it. Acting is my first love and I am really looking forward to it.”

Esha Deol married businessman Bharat Takhtani in a traditional ceremony earlier this year. Recently, she headed to Tirupati with her husband. “We had gone to seek blessings from Balaji. I believe in him. We had also attended my cousin’s wedding there,” she said speaking about the holy place.

The actress says life has not changed much after marriage and she has only become more responsible. “Life has become more responsible after marriage. I am happy to tie the knot with the person whom I loved. Love is the main key in a relationship, all other things are materialistic,” she said.

Dhoom 3 also stars Anil Kapoor, Ameesha Patel and Abhishek Bachchan.

Katrina Kaif injured while practicing for an action scene

At a Cancer awareness event during the weekend, Katrina Kaif was spotted with a bandaged hand. Despite the injury, Ms Kaif made it to the event, on time and also felicitated the awardees, without any complains.

So, what happened to Katrina’s hand?

Well, the actress, while practicing for an action scene in Dhoom 3, apparently tore a ligament of her right hand, after a bad fall. She was in great pain for a few hours. However, Kats felt better after sometime and resumed her practice.

Apparently, Katrina Kaif was in pain even at the event. However, she did not let that affect her commitment towards the program. Instead, she looked cheery in pink and was at ease.

This is not the first time that Kats has injured herself on the sets of a film. Previously too, the actress ended up with a bleeding nose while shooting for Yashraj Films’ Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. And also she met with an accident while performing an underwater stunt with Akshay Kumar during the shoot of De Dhana Dan.

Dhoom 3 will see Katrina Kaif in an action babe avatar.

Meanwhile, Presently, Katrina is in Mumbai, getting trained for her stunts in the the action-thriller. She will soon move to London for her holiday.
