David is a story about three different people all named David set in different time zones. The movie first takes us to 1975 London where 30 year old David [Neil Nitin Mukesh] is the protégé of Iqbal Ghani, a dreaded gangster. Next phase of the movie takes us to 1999, Mumbai, where David [Vinay Virmani] is a carefree singer born to a Christian priest. Next we move to 2010 Goa where 40 year old David [Vikram] falls in love with his best friend’s fiancé. The movie shows how these characters deal with the problems they face and make life altering decisions.
