Vivek Oberoi’s New Year’s Eve fiasco!!

The New Year’s Eve did not go as Vivek Oberoi had planned. The Bollywood actor was all set to give a performance at the Country Club in Andheri. But guess what happened?? Well, the cops did not allow the gig to happen.

Well, the reason the cops stopped the bash from happening was beacuse the organizers failed to take the requisite permission to hold a bash.

It was literally a drama, that day. A crowd of around 2000 people were present at the venue, to be entertained by Vivek. The angry audience and the actor were asked to leave the party for their safety.

However, soon the matter was settled and the actor was called back to the club. On returning to the venue, the cops who were still present there, did not allow the party to begin.

One thing good that happened was that as promised by the organizers, Vivek got his cheque of Rs 80 lakh.

The actor is currently holidaying with his wife.

‘Krrish 3′ finds its villian…

‘Krrish 3′ finds its villian…

Vivek Oberoi has bagged the negative role in the Rakesh Roshan’s much-awaited Krrish 3.

According to a source, “Rakesh Roshan has not directed a single film in the last five years.

Initially, he was keen to have an outside director and had even approached Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to direct the film.
However, the filmmaker later decided to take charge himself. And he wanted a strong character to play the negative lead.
There were various names being considered including the likes of Shah Rukh Khan. But Vivek Oberoi has bagged the role.
The role has been kept under wraps as the dialogues of the film are still being penned, though the screenplay is ready.”

The source further added, “There have been various rumours floating in the industry about the casting of the film.

The fact is that none of them have been signed yet. Talks are still on with a lot of actors as the film is scheduled to go on the floors in October this year.”

Vivek is yet to sign on the dotted lines.

The Scary Prince

the scary princeVivek Oberoi did not do his bit while promoting his upcoming film, “The Prince.” He backed out in the last minute. The story goes that Vivek was supposed to promote his film by performing in a few shopping malls. But the Pune blasts made him think twice. He had his share of re-thinking done and decided to stay back.

By the way – let us remind you – his new movie “The Prince – Its Showtime” is slated to be released on March 26. (All Vivek Oberoi enthusiasts..cheer up!!) Nandana sen is casted opposite our chocolate boy. Let us hope this movie will do wonders for him and push him out of his bad patch.

Vivek Oberoi Desperate to Change his Image

vivek23.JPG

When Vivek went around the world speaking candidly about his relationship with Ash and his fight with Salman while the other two kept mum, media termed him a manipulator. Now Vivek is desperate to change his negative image in the media and take his career graph up again.

He has hired a top notch publicist called Dale Bhagwagar who had turned around many celebrities’ negative image into a positive one. Dale’s magic is obvious in six months as Vivek has ended up bagging two meaty projects – A Karan Johar flick opposite Kareena and Saif and another from the Tips Films.

The guy is talented, looks fairly good and dances well. All he needs is some good publicity and some good roles to get back to business. We hope he does.

Vivek’s Public Apology A Drama thinks Salman

vivek1408.jpegRemember the 10th Annual Rajiv Gandhi Awards where Vivek Oberoi, while performing on stage, bowed down to Salman Khan, who was seated in the first row, folding his hands and grabbing his ears in forgiveness. But Salman turned away snubbing his public apology.

I know its a stale news but whats new is that Salman Khan, during his interview with a popular daily commented on Vivek’s apology.

He said, “Yeh sab drama shama mere ko samajh mein aata hai. Yeh sab acting hai.”

This shows that Salman is definitely not one of those who forgives and forgets and he is clear about that. He says he will never patch up with Shahrukh, that way, where does Vivek stand a chance!

Vivek’s A Whole New Man

vivek14.jpg
Vivek Oberoi, who has been out of the bollywood buzz post his breakup with Ash, has come out of his shell again, after his movie Mission Istanbul is out and all set to release. The guy says that he has committed many mistakes and has also learned a lot meanwhile. The actor had literally gone in depression after everything he did used to turn against him. But then, the optimism, for which the actor is known, kept him alive and going on. Vivek learned about how he had made mistakes which turned the media and audiences against him, including dragging Salman Khan in media by holding a media conference at his home.
Hope Vicky has learned from his mistakes and is all set to rock with Mission Istanbul.
