Vidya Balan riding high on success. Says The Khans will have to add ‘Balan’ as a suffix to their names.
The Dirty Picture has proven to be a big blessing to Vidya Balan. After delivering a stupendo fantabulously fantastic performance in the film, the whole industry has been chanting just one name and that’s Vidya Balan.
While talking to the reporters, Vidya said, “I feel blessed for so much of appreciation and gratitude. I am happy that I got the chance to work with good directors and I should not take credit for it I have never been part of any race for the number one position or anything of that sort.”
“It feels good that people are saying that ‘Dirty Picture’ is not dirty. The film is a huge landmark for me,” she said.
When Vidya was asked if she is the new female Khan in Bollywood, the actress chuckled, “Well, the Khans can now add Balan at the end of their names, instead of me adding Khan to my name.”
So is Vidya the new serial kisser female version, Vidya says, “The idea is not bad. If girls are trying to outdo boys in all areas then why not in this way too.”
Vidya Balan charged for indecent exposure in ‘The Dirty Picture’..
Vidya Balan, who made a bold move as the sexy South siren, Silk Smitha, in her latest flick The dirty Picture is now in legal trouble. A few scenes in the film hasn’t gone down well with the law.
It is heard that a Hyderabad court has charged Vidya for indecent exposure on the films posters and has in turn ordered filing of an FIR against the actress under sections 292 and 294 of the IPC and sections 3 and 4 of the indecent representation of women (prohibition) Act, 1986.
The police has also been asked to take action against public display of posters and promotional advertisements of the controversial movie.
Produced by Balaji Telefilms, starring Vidya, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor, the film was released all over the country on Friday.

‘The Dirty Picture’ at the Box Office!!
Despite being an A film, The Dirty Picture, is going great guns at the box office. The film which released last friday is on it’s way to earn a blockbuster tag.
The weekends collection rounded up at Rs. 32 crore. Friday saw a collection of Rs. 9.50 crores. TDP is the fifth biggest opening of this year. On Saturday, a total of Rs. 10.5 crores was collected and Sunday saw an exceptional collection of Rs. 12 crore.
The coming Friday will see the much awaited chemistry between Ranveer Singh with Anushka Sharma in Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl.
First look: Vidya Balan in ‘Kahaani’!
Seems like Vidya Balan is on a roll. Catch the actress in her upcoming film Kahaani, directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
The actress essays the role of a pregnant woman ho is in search of her missing husband. Major part of the film has been shot in Kolkata. Director Sujoy Ghosh tweeted, “KAHAANI was shot in all real locations. No budget to build set. In Kolkata its totally impossible to shoot real but we did it:)”
Sujoy Ghosh had written the script of the film keeping Vidya in mind.
In the first look of Kahaani, with the background of the famous Howrah bridge, Vidya is shown pregnant, having a tired look on her face.
No one better than Vidya would be able to pull off a role like this.

Vidaya describes her relationship with Siddharth as tasty, sweet, spicy and salty!
Vidya Balan seems to be enjoying her courtship period to the fullest. Recently, during the promotion of her film The Dirty Picture, Vidya revealed that she is in a relationship with the UTV honcho Siddharth Roy Kapoor. She also said she would be happy to get married.
It all began on the sets of No One Killed Jessica and ever since then, the couple have been together, though Vidya always preferred staying tight lipped about it.
The actress addmitted that currently, she is enjoying her courtship period and is loving every moment with Siddharth.
Says Vidya, “Undhiyu is the word that describes our relationship – tasty, sweet, spicy and salty. It has everything.”

All the promos of The Dirty Picture till now, saw Vidya Balan dancing dirty with Naseeruddin Shah, but now how can the Bollywood lover boy, Emraan Hashmi, remain behind??
The song Ishq Sufiana has Emraan Hashmi romancing the Vidya Balan. The duo share an awesome chemistry on screen. However, it is heard that the serial kisser will not be smooching Vidya in the promotional ads and campaign. Reason: The kisses would make the entire film look like a typical Emraan Hashmi flick,to public.
Though, in the song Ishq Sufiana, both Vidya and Emraan are seen getting super cosy and stuff, you wouldn’t find them kissing each other in the song.
