Sikku as Villain??

sikku.jpg
Though the news is still under “rumor” stage, we have heard that Sikander Kher might play a negative character in Hrithik Roshan’s international project “kites”. The idea is said to be out of the producer, Rakesh Roshan’s head.
With not much of good looks to his credit, this role in kites might give Sikander Kher’s career big wings!!

Sikku Still Single

gul n sikku.JPG
Sikander Kher was rumored to be having affair with his ‘Summer 2007’ co-star Gul Panag as soon as the movie and the lad came in the news. The newest kid on the block has though dismissed the rumor and has not only added the “just friends” tag on Gul but has openly come up with the statement saying he’s not having an affair.

Sikku, as he is called by the friends, has stated, “I am not seeing Gul Panag. Its great fun and a blast to work with Gul.”

Looks like we finally have a straight forward actor in bollywood….but, can we trust him??

Star Kids Party Hard!!!

sonnkher.JPG
Sikander Kher, whose serious and professional work in his first movie, Woodstock Villa was pretty much appreciated, isn’t a very serious character in real life after all. He was recently spotted in a pub partying hard with a couple of friends including the star kid Sonam Kapoor. Now, one special friend of Sikander was missing though. Sikander Kher, who has found a special and great friend in his co-star in “Summer2007″, Gul Panag has also been linked with her by the media. She was though, missing from the crowd. The new element added in Sikander’s group was though, Sonam Kapoor.
Hmmmmm…Sonam Kapoor and Sikander Kher….Wouldn’t make a bad couple…would they??
I mean in movies… ;)

Movie Review: Woodstock Villa

sikander_kher-side1.jpg
Starring: Sikander Kher, Neha Oberoi, Saif ALi Khan, Arbaaz Khan,
Director: Hansal Mehta
Producer: Sanjay Gupta, Sanjay Dutt, Shobha Kapoor
What to watch: Sikander Kher and a good cinematography
What will bore u away: badly sequenced songs, loud and irritating sound effects
My Rating: 2.5
Well, like all sanjay Gupta movies, Woodstock Villa also features lot of darkness in it. It’s nicely styled and has a lot of machismo in Sikander Kher. The movie is a thriller with lots of style in it, we wouldn’t be surprised if Sikander Kher wins the style icon award of the year. The actor plays the role of an NRI (Sameer), who comes to India in search of some spice and gets entangled with all bad things. He is jobless, and has no money to even pay the rent of the apartment. Meanwhile, he comes across a beautiful traffic stopper (Neha Oberoi), who offers him a little strange but equally luricative deal. The plan is to fake her kidnap so that she can test her husband’s love for her and for which Sikander Kher will be paid a huge reward. The husband here is the actor Arbaaz Khan. Everything goes according to the plan; until the girl dies in Sameer’s captivity. The boy then, burries the body, erase all the evidences and plans to leave the scenario only to find another plot waiting for him.
The movie is all about the mystery woman (Neha Oberoi) who is dead but yet not dead. The performance of the debutant actor Sikander Kher is absolutely awesome. He has surely made his presence felt at the screen and has proved his acting skills.
After movies like Johnny Gaddar and Woodstock Villa, looks like the Machismo age is back right in between the Metro sexual era.
