Shahrukh will not follow Aamir and Salman’s footsteps.
Shahrukh Khan is not very keen to join the on screen cop league (Salman in Dabangg 2 and Aamir in Talaash). We hear that SRK has said NO to Gautam Menon, for the remake of A.R. Murugadoss’s Tamil film, Ramana.
The superstar was in a dilemma between director Gautham Menon’s remake of Vettiyadu Villayadu, which is a cop film; and A.R. Murugadoss’s remake of Ramana, which is a film about an anti-corruption crusader.
Buzz has it that the actor has agreed to do the film based on anti corruption and has said no to the cop film. Ramana remake will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
According to a source, Shahrukh showed interest in Bhansali’s project because, “Both his rivals Aamir and Salman are coming up with cop films, and he did not want to join the gang. He was looking for something strong yet sensitive, and this seemed like the perfect choice.”
Farah Khan to direct Shahrukh Khan?
The latest news doing the rounds is that Shahrukh Khan and his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend-again Farah Khan will son be doing a film together.
It is heard that, Farah had planned this film with SRK, even before her directorial debut Main Hoon Na. The film then had to be kept on hold for Om Shanti Om. Now, after all these years, Farah Khan is keen on reviving the film. Moreover, the film’s title has been registered with Shahrukh Khan’s production house.
If all goes well, the duo might begin shooting for the film this November. However, there hasn’t been a formal confirmation from either sides.
And the ‘Ghanta Awards’ goes to……
Salman Khan has been named as the Worst Actor for his performances in the films Ready and Bodyguard, at the Ghanta Awards. What’s interesting is that, both the films that released last year, were blockbusters.
Well, that is not it. His song ‘Dhinka Chika’ from the film ‘Ready’, has been named the Worst Item Number of the Year. Anees Bazmee took away the title of the worst director for Ready and Thank You.
Nargis Fakri was crowned the Worst Actress for her performance in Rockstar.
The Worst Film of the Year title was given to Shahrukh Khan’s dream project Ra.One. Sonam Kapoor was awarded ‘WTF Was That’ award for one of the scenes in Mausam. The actress later tweeted, “Was at the Ghanta Awards. What a talented bunch of writers and actors! Great show guys.”
Most Bollywood star did not turn up for the awards ceremony. However, the daring and dashing fashionista, Sonam Kapoor made her presence felt at the event.
Aamir’s ‘Talaash’ v/s Shahrukh’s untitled film!
‘Talaash’, one of the most awaited movies of the year, starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor, has now been postponed from June to November.
Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif untitled flick is slated for a November release.
Well, the problem is that there are major chances for Aamir’s film to clash with Shahrukh’s, at the box office..
Who’s film will do better, is the question.
Earlier too, there was a similar situation when Aamir Khan was busy publicizing his film Ghajini when Shahrukh Khan’s film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was in the theatres. Both the films released around the same time, however, Aamir’s Ghajini stole the show.
We have heard that Yash Raj Film will have a Diwali (13th November) release, while Aamir’s Talaash is rescheduled for November 30.
We wonder who will be a hit this November!!

Romance is in the air!!
The king of romance Shahrukh Khan is all set to romance Bollywood’s most beautiful woman, Katrina Kaif in Yash Chopra’s untitled flick, which also has Anushka Sharma, playing a pivotal role. Yashji is back to direction after seven long years.
The pictures from the sets of the film is enough to guess the amount of romance in the film. The fact that it’s a Yash Chopra film, and SRK, the romantic king playing the lead, says it all.
Yash ji proudly says, “Everyone knows that when I make a movie, Shahrukh will be involved with it. He is like family to YRF and I have always regarded him as one of my own.”
Yash ji also has an important thing to say about the film, “This is a film which is classic in its look but contemporary in its language. A film which I’m making on one simple faith… the love that my audiences have given to me over the years. They have tolerated my indulgences for the past 50 years, I’m sure they will indulge me one more time.”
The movie is scheduled for a Diwali 2012 release.

SRK or Sallu to play God??
Akshay Kumar is in search of Lord Krishna for his home production ‘Oh My God’. The actor himself was all set to play the role of Lord Krishna. However, things didn’t work as planned. He is now looking for someone who can replace him.
Now, buzz has it that the rival Khans Salman and SRK are top contenders. Says a source, “Since Akshay will be busy with other film commitments, he and Ashvini Yardi (the director) plan to approach either SRK or Salman for the role, depending on who is available.”
The film was planned more than two years ago. It is an adaptation of Paresh Rawal’s Hindi play Krishna vs Kanhaiya.
Adds the source, “Till Akshay was playing the role, they were sure what they wanted. But now since that has changed the director is more than willing to change the script to suit the star.
Both Salman and SRK will bring in a very different kind of personality towards the role and it only makes sense to write the dialogues accordingly.”
The director of the film, Ashwini has worked with both the Khans and is very confident of bringing at least one of them on board.
The source says, “Ashvini has been friends with both Salman and SRK and therefore there is every possibility that they might come on board.”
However, we wonder if either of the Khans will have the time to essay the role.

Looks like Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan are having a ball on the sets of Yash Chopra’s film, in London. It is heard that the two are bonding big time.
Shahrukh Khan is aware of his awesome sense of humor and so the actor never leaves a chance to floor his co-stars with his strength, ‘sense of humor’. He has been doing the same with his co star Katrina kaif and it is heard that the actress is enjoying her life, shooting with the Khan.
Kats also seems to be pretty impressed with SRK’s chivalry and decorum, while shooting with her. Though the duo are very casual with each other, Kats is being treated with great respect.
Shahrukh-Katrina’s chemistry is very evident, especially after SRK planted a peck on her cheek during an award function. Talking about their chemistry and comfortable level, SRK recently spoke about a romantic scene with Kats.
“On a lighter note realized u can’t wear warmers if u want to do romantic scenes…they come in the way of ur coolness…or is it just me???” Shahrukh Khan tweeted a few days back.
Guess who’s SRK’s new neighbour??
If we’ve heard right, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are said to be moving closer to each other. Buzz has it that Salman Khan has bought a triplex flat at Bandra Bandstand, worth Rs. 32 crore. And, the interesting part is that Shahrukh Khan’s residence Mannat is very close to Salman’s residence, you can say, a shout away.
Well, Salman’s triplex is still under construction and so neither the actor nor any of his family members are likely to move in anytime soon.
Well, now Shahrukh’s got a new neighbor. At least now become friends!!!
