Salman’s ‘No Entry’ sequel is on…

Salman’s ‘No Entry’ sequel is on…

Putting an end to all speculations, the makers of No Entry have confirmed about the making of the film’s sequel. Despite Salman Khan being overloaded with four new films (Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Kick, Sher Khan), yet writer director Anees Bazmee has confirmed the news about the film being pretty much on track, with Salman Khan being the lead actor.

“In fact as we talk, I have also closed on the timelines when the script would be narrated to Salman”, says Bazmee, “That would be later part of next month. Salman is very excited to do the film and understands that it is a huge franchise.”

Currently, final touchings are being given to the story. The film yet again feature escapades of the three friends. Fardeen Khan will make his comeback with the sequel.

“Yes, the film can’t be complete without any of the three”, he says, “In fact Fardeen’s character is even funnier this time around and audience would love it.”

However, the leading ladies will not be the same as Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitley are enjoying marital bliss and Esha Deol has bleak chances for a re entry in the film.

“Yes, we would be scouting for new girls”, Bazmee confirms.

Salman takes Himesh’s side to beat Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One..

Salman takes Himesh’s side to beat Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One..

Salman Khan had decided to take panga with SRK by helping Himesh Reshammiya in his upcoming film Damadamm. The film is slated to release on the same day of Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan is backing Himesh and is also expected to watch Himesh’s film in a specially organised trial.

According to a tabloid, “Salman is overseas shooting for Ek Tha Tiger. He will return home on October 21. Salman loved the promos of Himesh’s films especially the songs Umraao Jaan and Madhudhaala. Himesh, who has always considered Salman his lucky charm, wanted to show the film to him. Salman agreed immediately.”

“Salman and Himesh are very close. Salman has been giving Himesh tips on film promotion as well. Himesh seems to need as many tips as possible considering his film clashes with SRK’s RA.One this Diwali. Now, with Salman coming to watch Damadamm! the attention will shift to Himesh’s film. Salman, needless to say, will choose Himesh’s Damadamm this Diwali,” added the source.

Himesh said, “Salmanbhai has liked the promos and I want my lucky charm Salmanbhai to see the film as soon as possible. Although my film will be competing against Ra.One, I am super confident that Damadamm! will also make a mark. I am sure that the product will bring a smile on every face.”

Interestingly, Salman Khan is also a part of a promotional video for Esha Deol’s comeback film “Tell Me O Khhuda”.

Dabangg 2 gets a brand new team…

Dabangg 2 gets a brand new team…

The Dabangg team will not be the same for Dabangg 2. After the director of the film, Abhinav Kashyap walked out of the sequel, the technicians have also been asked to leave. Now, Dabangg sequel will have a whole brand new team leaving the lead actors as it is. Dabangg 2 goes on floors in March 2012.

A source revealed, “The earlier plan was to retain the entire cast and crew barring of course Abhinav Kashyap who had already opted out of the sequel. Dileep Shukla was roped in to write Dabangg 2. As the script developed, Arbaaz Khan realised that he’ll have to work within a new setup and with an entirely new set of man-power for the film.”

Arbaaz Khan said, “Why are people presuming that I’d have to depend on creative resources from the first Dabangg to make Dabangg 2? I’ve been born into a film family. I grew up hearing scripts and people talking cinema. I know enough about cinema to turn director confidently. It’s true we don’t have the original crew on board. We’ve hired a first-rate group of fresh technicians for Dabangg 2.”

“We know what we’re doing. It’s Dileep Shukla who has written the sequel. But it is my vision and ideas that have been put into the screenplay. I know exactly how I want to shoot the film. The novelty of seeing Salman playing Chulbul Pandey with a moustache has worn off. We’ll be going beyond,” said Arbaaz.

All you Salman Khan fans, here is some disappointing news for you all. Well, as the actor is busy shooting Yash Raj’s film abroad, he will not be seen with Sanjay Dutt on ‘Aapka Farmaan’ special episode of the controversial reality show. “As any change takes some time to be accepted, this too will fall into place in a week or two. Sanju has his own style and unique charm. The best way for Sanju will be to tread his own path.”

Bodyguard is Number 2

Bodyguard is Number 2

Which actor can compete with Salman Khan nowadays? Before answering the question, let us look at a tid-bit. We reported a couple of weeks ago that the collections of Bodyguard were just behind Dabanng’s Rs.147 crores putting Bodyguard in the third place. But now, Bodyguard has netted an overall collection of Rs.150 crores. This sends ‘Salman’s Dabanng’ to the third place and puts ‘Salman’s Bodyguard’ in the second place. I guess now, we have the answer to the question now – it’s got to be Salman himself.

With each film of his, Salman is proving a point to the other superstars of Bollywood. While Salman’s had three releases between Eid 2010 and Eid 2011, the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan and neither the ‘perfectionist’ Aamir Khan have had a single release. And mind you, Salman’s three releases within the year have raked in all the moolah and turned out to be blockbuster hits. No looking back for Sallu bhai at the moment, except for his facial nerve pain.

Salman’s Pain Returns

Salman’s Pain Returns

Salman Khan, who as we know, underwent a surgery for a facial nerve problem, took part in the shooting of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ which is right now canning its shots in Dublin. For a moment, all seemed well that our Sallu Bhai returned to the sets and resumed work. But unfortunately, the relief from the surgery has not seemed to last for long. Given the cold climate that prevails in Ireland, Salman’s pain in the face has come back again to haunt him apparently. Sallu Bhai stated that though the surgery reduced his pain by about 60-70 percent, he can still feel it, and it is especially intense when he tries to talk.

Salman underwent the surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia, a problem that occurs in the facial nerve for some unknown reason and causes a lot of pain in the face and the jaw. Salman has stated that he would have to go back for a second round of the surgery in the next 2 or 3 months again. Bollywood.Celbden wishes Sallu Bhai a speedy recovery!
