Dabangg 2 sees heftier bribes and bigger troubles..
Soon after the shoot of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, Salman Khan will get into the role of the corrupt ‘Chulbul Pandey’ for Dabangg 2.
The film will be directed by Arbaaz Khan. It is heard that Dabangg 2 will see Salman Khan become more corrupt and will operate from Mumbai and not from Lalgani.
By now, we all know that Sonu Sood, the villain in Dabangg is now replaced by Prakash Raj.
Currently, Salman Khan is with Katrina Kaif in Cuba, shooting for EkTha Tiger. News has it that actor will make a trip to the US for a check up for Trigeminal Neuralgia for which he underwent a surgery last year.
Dabangg 2 will release this Christmas.
Salman Khan to set free 400 inmates!
Salman Khan is truly a man with a heart of gold. Re[ports have it that, the actor has come to the rescue of about 400 inmates who continue to languish in jail, despite having completed their term.
It so happens that, when a convict is sentenced to imprisonment, he is asked to pay a certain amount in the form of fine, besides serving the jail term. Now, if the convict is unable to pay the fine, he will have to serve an additional term. Through ‘Being Human’, Salman’s charitable organization, convicts who are unable to pay the fine, will be set free, as the organization has offered to pay the amount.
It is heard that the actor has written to the jail authority about it and is waiting for its clearance from the higher authorities.
A total of Rs 40 lakh will be submitted by the foundation, to the jails across the state of Uttar Pradesh, setting 400 inmates free.
Salman-Katrina, off to Cuba!!
Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are all set to leave for Cuba, to continue the shooting of Kabir Khan’s Film, Ek Tha Tiger. It’s a month long shooting schedule this time.
But why Cuba of all the places??
Well, if reports are to be believed, the weather in Cuba is pretty warm and so it will be safe and comfortable for the film’s actor Salman Khan to continue his work smoothly, considering his neurological condition.
A source close to the project says, “Salman’s neuro-condition which is not fully cured, was aggravated when he shot in the freezing cold in Ireland for the film some months ago. Kabir likes to shoot in difficult locations.”
It is also heard that Salman will be seen performing a few deadly stunts in the film and so having Katrina by his side, he should be safe.
Says a friend of the actress, “Their relationship has now gone to another level where he continues to look out for her, and she for him. While they’ll be shooting in Cuba she will be keeping an eye on his health.”
Katrina states, “I’ll be gone for quite a while. I’ve never been to Cuba before. It sounds exciting.”
Salman fans disappointed…
All the Salman fans were in a state of shock, when the actor was not nominated in any of the categories, including the ‘Best Actor’ catogary at the 18th Annual Screen Awards.
Amrita Rao who attended the event said, “Salman Khan is such a big superstar, and he doesn’t need a nomination to prove it.”
Dia Mirza who was also present at the award function said, “People who get nominated treasure that nomination and it means a lot, having said that, I am sure there will be enough award shows who will nominate him and he will win enough.”
Siddharth Bhardwaj, a contestant in Big Boss 5, said, “I am one of the biggest fans of Salman Khan and it’s disappointing that he has not been nominated, but I’m sure had he been nominated, he would have won an award.”
The actor was royally ignorged despite giving two of the biggest blockbuster, ‘Ready’ and ‘Bodyguard’. What’s worse is that Sallu’s name didn’t even feature in the nomination list.
Who will make a better cop in a crime thriller, Salman or Shahrukh??
The latest news has it that both Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are being considered to play a cop in the South remake of Gautham Menon’s hit film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. The original film starred Kamal Haasan.
The film is an undercover crime thriller, having super advanced special effects.
The director is keen on recreating Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu in Bollywood but is confused on which actor to rope in. As of now, Shahrukh and Salman are being considered to step into the shoes of Kamal Hassan.
Gautham is quoted as saying, “We are showing the film around and we hope it gets picked up. As far as SRK and Salman go, all I can say is that it is a wish list. It would be great if either come on board, because it’s a film for the masses.”
Salman Khan’s latest, Angela Jonsson???
The Kingfisher calendar model, Angela Jonsson is the latest entry in Salman Khan’s home production.
Buzz has it that the model turned actress will star in the sequel of ‘Partner’ and the remake of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, besides being confirmed in ‘Sher Khan’.
Says a source, “Angela’s career in Bollywood wasn’t taking off. But Salman and Sohail saw her potential and offered her an exclusive contract before she made the wrong career moves. Now she will be eligible for all of Salman’s home productions, though they don’t necessarily have to sign her for every film they make.”
Confirming this, Sohail says, “Yes she has signed an exclusive contract with us. But we haven’t decided which film or films she will be doing. We think she has great potential. We will launch her.”
Salman-Katrina’s dinner date!
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif got to spend some quality time together, over dinner, while shooting for their film Ek Tha Tiger in Istanbul.
Okay! The real story goes like this.
During the shoot, Salman asked Katrina to give her best for the intense scenes of the film, and in return, Salman would take her out for dinner on that night.
Well, Kats nailed the scenes and Sallu, hence took treated her to dinner. And what’s more interesting is that, the actor reportedly took Katrina out on every single night to various restaurants.

Three Khans in a row, What more could Katrina Kaif ask for?
Katrina Kaif is all set to romance her ex’s rival, Shahrukh khan. The actress recently shot for Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger and now, she has moved on to the King Khan.
Shahrukh’s movie will be directed by Yash Chopra, who will be directing films after eight long years. Yash Chopra’s son, Uday Chopra tweeted,
“Launching my dad’s film today with a little pooja at YRF… shoot starts tomorrow with @ iamsrk and Katrina Kaif.. Dad directing after Veer- Zaara.”
The film goes on floors today, i.e. Monday. The yet to be titled flick will be shot in London, Thailand and India and is said to be a pure epic love story. Music of the film by A R Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar.
Anushka Sharma also plays a pivotal role in the film.
Whats more interesting is that Katrina will then move on to Aamir khan, to shoot Dhoom 3, post shooting with SRK.

Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ not postponed!
Lately, Salman Khan’s action flick ‘Kick’ has been in news, quite often. It was said that the film release might get delayed. However, the latest news is that the film will roll on time.
The film stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. Rumors also had it that Salman Khan did not want to pair up with Sonakshi Sinha as he is also starring with her in Dabangg 2. However, now, all is well.
Since Salman’s 2012 calender is jam packed, buzz had it that Shirish Kunder’s Kick would have delayed release. But now, Shirish is doing all that he can do to make sure ‘Kick’ rolls on time.
The director himself has confirmed that Kick hasn’t been postponed.
“All rumours about ‘Kick’ being postponed etc is bullshit. ‘Kick’ is definitely happening in the 2nd half of 2012. Release date will be announced by producer Sajid Nadiadwala,” Kunder recently clarified.
Kick is a remake of the 2009 Telugu film of the same name.
Shahrukh-Salman welcome 2012 in Dubai!
Bollywood stars are all set to welcome 2012, going to various holiday destinations. However, Bollywood’s rivals, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan will be in Dubai.
While Salman Khan is currently in Dubai with his family and will be throwing a a private party. Shahrukh on the other hand is in Mumbai, still caught up with work. However, his wife and kids are already in Dubai. The actor will soon be joining them.
It is heard that SRK will host a party at his Palm Jumeirah villa.
The guests on Shahrukh’s invite list are, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Kapoor and their wives and kids. Karan Johar will also be there.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt and family are holidaying in Bali.
A lot of Bollywood celebrities are also headed towards Goa for the sunburn festival.
Salman not ready to give time for ‘No Entry Mein Entry’.
The script for Anees Bazmee ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ is ready. As reported earlier, the film which is a sequal to ‘No Entry’, will have all the three actors, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Salman Khan play double roles. However, Salman Khan, who is said to be upset with Anees, isn’t ready.
A source close to both Anees and Boney Kapoor (producer) revealed, “Salman is really excited about his first double role since Judwaa. And he will love the script that Anees has written. However, he first needs to hear it. He has to give Anees time.”
Even at Salman’s birthday bash, Anees Bamees was not invited to the party.
When Anees was asked the reason for him being absent for Sallu’s party and whether it was because of their differences, he said, “Aisa kuch nahin hai. I’m leaving for a holiday with my wife and children for New Year. I met Boney and he loved my script. I haven’t met Salman. But Boney and Anil have met Salmanbhai. Salman is very excited about the script. As soon as we can we will sit down for a narration,” said the director.
Salman was miffed with director Anees Bazmee during the making of Ready.
