Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi became proud parents of a baby girl on Friday, January 20, 2012. The gorgeous couple have named their daughter Saira Bhupathi.
Raveena Tandon tweeted, “My friends, Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi are proud parents of a baby girl!!Saira Bhupathi Welcome Angel”!!
India’s tennis star Sania Mirza’s father’s Blackberry status said, “Welcoming Saira Bhupathi in this world.”
And its a baby girl for Lara and Mahesh!!

Rumors about Retish-Genelia tying the knot, is doing the rounds from the past 2 weeks. And actress Lara Dutta seems to be getting impatient to attend her good friend wedding. She has urged him to say I do quickly.
“@Riteishd RD, c’mon hurry up now your turn!!!! Bomsi (Boman Irani) and I have our outfits ready and pressed,” Lara posted on micro-blogging site Twiiter.
Riteish and Genelia recently announced that they will get married in 2012.

The promotional song of the much awaited film Don 2 has finally been released by Excel Entertainment. And we must tell you, Lara Dutta has nailed the song.
The track Zara Dil Ko Tham Lo has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Lara and Shahrukh together look terrific. The film is slated to release on December 23.

Lara Dutta is pregnant!!!
Lara Dutta finally admits that she is pregnant. And we’re not surprised to see her getting a congratulatory message from Abhishek Bachchan. The actress-turned-producer is three months pregnant and expecting the baby to arrive by the end of January 2012.
Abhishek Bachchan has wished the actress, saying “welcome on board”.
“Thank you so much for all ur wishes and prayers. It’s an awesome time in life right now and Mahesh and I r both very excited abt the baby!,” Lara, who tied the knot with ace tennis player Mahesh Bhupati in February this year, posted on her Twitter page.
In return, Abhishek congratulated her and posted: “Paaji! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! welcome on board.”
Lara, in response to Abhi’s tweet said, she was looking forward to get some parenting tips.
“thank you so much ab! You’ll will be sorted by the time our turn comes, will call for tips!! ” she tweeted.
According to a source, “Lara and Mahesh wanted a baby soon.” And their wish seems to have been God’s command.
Confirming her pregnancy, Lara said, “Mahesh and I are both extremely happy and blessed with this wonderful development in our lives. We are looking forward to having a new addition to our family.”

Lara Dutta goes the family way???
After actress Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan’s recent announcement of her pregnancy, speculations are rife about the other Bunt babe from Bollywood, actor Shilpa Shetty.
However, she’s not alone as grapevine is abuzz with news that the Bollywood actress turned film producer, Lara Dutta who recently wed tennis player, Mahesh Bhupathi early this year, too is in the family way.
Says a source close to the couple, “Lara and Mahesh have always taken things as they come. Though they have been busy with their respective work, they feel it’s the right time to have a kid. Besides, Lara has just finished shooting for Don 2, and is working on her next home production now. She may or she may not feature in her next film.”
Since it’s still in the early stages, the couple will apparently make the announcement only when they feel it’s the right time for it. “It is considered inauspicious to speak about the pregnancy until it’s completed three months. Right now they are really hush-hush about the entire thing and do not want too many people’s attention,” says the source.
Heal with Lara….. Her fitness mantra is out!!!
Actress Lara Dutta has come out with her second fitness DVD, Heal With Lara. At the DVD’s launch she shared a few of her fitness secrets.
Lara revealed that after she entered Bollywood, she realized that just doing regular workouts or following a strict diet regimen wasn’t enough to stay in fit shape. More was needed.
“The constant pressure of work and the pressure of keeping the body in perfect shape made me realise that I needed something more than burning out calories. I needed something to restore fitness, rejuvenation of body and mind, which I found in yoga,” she is quoted as saying by a news agency.
Talking about her DVD, Lara said her aim is to make workouts fun rather than drag they often become for many fitness freaks.
“My aim was to make it a little bit uptempo and fun. A uniquely evolved blend of strength and cardio intervals makes this a fun yet powerful workout for the entire body,” .
However, she admitted that she also eats junk food.
“Being a Punjabi, I love street food, especially chats, pani-puri, dahi-papdi, you name it and I love it,” said the actress who recently got married to tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi.
Happy Belated Honeymoon for Lara and Mahesh…
Actress Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi have finally taken out some time for their honeymoon. It has been more than two months since they got married.
Soon after their wedding, which took place in Feb, the couple zoomed away to Dubai for Bhupathi’s tennis match in Dubai Open. Thereafter, both Lara and Mahesh have been very busy with their packed schedules, that they hardly found time for each other.
Lately, she has been busy promoting Chalo Dilli which is her maiden co-production and stars her opposite Vinay Pathak.
After the film releases this Friday, Lara and Mahesh plan to finally head off for what could now be called their belated honeymoon.
Buzz has it that the two would be flying to Bali for their honeymoon.
Lara-Bhupathi’s big fat Bollywood wedding…
The big fat Bollywood wedding is over and the celeb couple Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi are off to Dubai. The couple had a catholic style wedding in Goa on Feb 19. The former Miss Universe looked like a princess on her wedding day.
Tweeting about this Lara says, “A pic for all my twitter friends and followers! Thankyou for all ur wishes! Had the perfect wedding!”
Lara, who was dressed in a white gown and decked in heavy diamond jewellery, was standing beside the man of her destiny, broke down to tears of happiness. Holding her tight with love, Bhupathi expressed his love for Lara by saying, “I look forward to growing old with you.” He continued, “Lara, when I first met you, this day was a dream. Today it is reality. When I’m on the tour, not a day goes by without me wishing I was home with you instead, so even when I’m gone I am with you.”
As reported earlier, Lara wore an Ellie Saab couture gown for the wedding and looked resplendent. The dress with a 10 meter train looked fetching with a diamond tiara. The look was complemented by the flower girls in a matching shade. Mahesh wore a black tuxedo, best suited for his tall frame, and matched the style quotient of his ladylove.
The wedding happened at the sunset point of the Portuguese fort of Aguada in Goa.
Surely, marriages are made in heaven..
