Bole to puri duniya bol raheli hai ki it’s raining sequels in Bollywood!!! The host of sequels 
this year was kick started by the dud ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, which received a bigger opening than ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Fanaa’ internationally! Though it didn’t have much to offer inthe name of comedy, it still raked in a bomb!!!
Then came along Krrish, which collected just over 100 crores in the first two weeks itself… need I say anymore 
Phir bole to… Apna Munna bhai aala reee…. ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ has been playing to packed houses and is all set to take over the records set up by the alien sequel!
And what comes up next is another blockbuster’s sequel from the Yashraj House… you guessed that right people, we’re talking of Dhoom 2! The mega sequel, which will hit theatres on 24th November tentatively is all set to create a few records of it’s own… we’re going to follow it closely so you adrenaline junkies keep watching this space for more…….

It’s just been two weeks after the release of the most entertaining sequel of the year ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ and after playing to packed audiences all through, it’s making every body think about the social evils prevalent in the society and the ways they can combat them…
“Hardcore moral preaching doesn’t sell, but if you package it with entertainment, it works,” said Taran Adarsh. And if that’s not enough, the sale of books related to Mahatma Gandhi has shot up nation wide!
The praise lavished on the sequel doesn’t just end with critics and normal audiences itself… “If Bapu were to see the film today, he would have applauded the role,” said Gandhi’s great-grandson Tushar. You listening Mr. Dilip Prabhavalkar (the dude who played the character of Gandhi in the film)???

How did Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna Fare at the box office…
Hey guys… well my blog starts with a BIG THANXXX to all you people for your comments and feedback on my ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ review and bole to here’s a ‘jaadu ki jhappi’ from my side to every one 
Maya had asked us to provide her with the statistics of ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and co incidentally, its one thing that’s been raking my interest from quite a few days now…
Though the film’s success in India is negligible (c’mon now, it wasn’t made for local audiences any way), it did have a phenomenal opening overseas, where there are more ShahRukh Khan fans than India
Its opening figures grossed up to $1,351,786 – now it’s over $1.3 Million for those who are poor at numbers 
though this Karan Johar venture took a beating at home, it’s surely flourishing overseas. With a total collection of over $3 Million (it was $2,872,098 last week) till date, it is branded as an international blockbuster hit without a shadow of a doubt
Vidya Balan turns you crazy in ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’!!!
So I spoke about ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, its storyline, the chemistry between Munna Bhai and Circuit, the charisma of Boman Irani and several things… but certainly don’t wanna miss out on the angel who stole my heart in the first look itself – Vidya Balan! She had already made it go pit pat in the promos of pal pal har pal but in the movie, it felt as if she grasped all my attention and dragged me into her world of make believe without any effort at all !!!
Just her voice was enough to every body (including Munna Bhai 
) sway to her tunes and oh my my! What a wonderful introduction she had… too eager to know what about her has turned so many people absolutely crazy about her ??? Then go watch the movie… and you’ll know what we mean :X
The highlight of Lage Raho Munna Bhai
Oki so after seeing the no. of hits, we know that you liked our review on ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’. Thanks a ton from our side, but the main query that I received was that why didn’t I mention a thing about the actor who was the highlight of its prequel??? Your guess is as good as mine people… we’re talking about Dr. J. Asthana aka builder Lucky Singh aka BOMAN IRANI!!!
After dozens of films under his belt, it’s needless to say that he gets into the skin of his character with such grace and ease like no one ever has… and his style of comedy is ruling the roost… Especially in ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’! In short bole to, Boman mamu ke liye jitna bolo, utna kam hai!!! He has smoothly brought together the characters of a corrupt and outrageous sardar builder and a loving and honest father… and his mannerisms are so precise that his sardargiri will actually outperform actual sardar comedians… see you soon in Munna Bhai 3 Mr. Irani… YOU ROCK!!!
