Sanjay Dutt wants to annul his marriage.

Sanju Baba who had recently married his sweetheart Manyata, has asked for annulment of his marriage citing technical reasons according to a court official. Dutt had married 13first.jpgManyata Dilnawaz Sheikh in a secret ceremony in Goa, and after a few days a traditional Hindu Wedding was held in Mumbai. But their wedding vows landed them in trouble, when a man suddenly popped up claiming to be Manyata’s husband and also revealed that they have a two-year-old son.
Officials claimed that both Manyata and Dutt did not file proof of their divorces before getting married.

The official quoted from the affidavit filed by the couple that they did not wish to solemnise their marriage under the Portuguese civil code, 1867.
Sanjay and Manyata’s marriage had run into problems from the day one when Manyata was alleged to have forged residence documents to marry in Goa.
Well let’s hope that the couple comes out of this chicken soup really soon, and happily remarry in presence of all relatives.
Here wishing our Munna Bhai all the luck in the world :)

Verdict says Sanjay Dutt has a longer relationship with TADA!!!

Sanju baba has been dealing with the biggest pain in his ass for over 13 years now… don’t we all know that it’s the 1993 Mumbai blasts I’m talking about! Today was supposed to bethe day of the final hearing for his case.. but it ended only as a supposition!!!

Sanjay Dutt was summoned by the TADA court for posessing and destroying a rifle with the help of four of his friends… all of them have been granted bail but the final verdict has been postponed once again!

6 Considering what he’s done for the country with his Gandhigiri lingo… shouldn’t the court show some consideration towards him??? Bole to… he’s changed the attitude of a whole lot of people yaar !!! I think the judge P D Kode badly needs a jaadu ki jhappi from the whole country to set his brains right… wat say?

Rang De Basanti is the best Indian film according to Australians!

Oscar or no Oscar, apni Rang De Basanti has already started to collect international awards!!! Though not a big deal when it was competing only with fellow Bollywood movies, RDB managed to beat the likes of ‘Omkara’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, ‘Being Cyrus’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘Fanaa’ etc etc….. Phew! That was ONE looooong list!!!

4

It was the Indian Film Festival, held at Sydney, Australia that honored RDB with the award and made Rakeysh Mehra, the director, proud… what was heartening to see is that there was more of the Australian audience who flocked to watch Bollywood in its glory…

The audiences, though couldn’t make much of the ‘Bhen di taki’ type dialogues, but surely clapped and applauded every comic sequence of the movie (surprising, ain’t it?)

So in short… RDB is all set to rock the world!!!!!!

Munna finds a new fan …

Right now, Lage Raho Munnabhai is the flavour of the season and after winning everybody’s heart, we hear it has found a new fan, and that is none other than the warsi-dutt.jpgPrime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh. He is completely bowled over by the portrayal of Gandhiji’s principles in a light-hearted and impressive manner, thus driving home the message to millions across the world.

While addressing a Satyagraha Centenary Commemoration in South Africa, he said, “Every generation has rediscovered the relevance of Gandhiji’s message. I was heartened to see recently that back home in India the most popular movie this festival season is a film about a young man’s discovery of the universal and timeless relevance of the Mahatma’s message”.

Oscar or no oscar, Gandhigiri truly rocks in every sense of the word !!!

Munna and Circuit to go to the Oscars ???

Just a couple of days back we heard Rang De Basanti is selected as an official entry to the Oscars in the Foreign Film Category. And now we hear Vidhu Vinod Chopra has decided to send ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ as an independent entry for the Oscars. But instead of competing in the Foreign Film Category, it will compete in the General category.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra has said that his production house has taken this decision aftersanjay-arshad.jpg seeing the rushes and tremendous response received by ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ all across the world.

But we doubt whether that is possible because such a practice will annoy the Film Federation of India (FFI) that officially selects India’s entry to the Oscars. Will FFI allow Lage Raho Munnabhai to be sent independently or will it create problems for Munna and Gandhi to go the Oscars remains to be seen. Hmmm… we advice Vidhu Vinod Chopra to send flowers and bouquets to the board, to make them agree to your demands, what say Munna ???

We don’t know whether the movie will be approved to be sent in that category, but we wish all the best to Lage Raho Munnabhai and Rang De Basanti team.

Aamir Khan appreciates Lage Raho Munnabhai

aam2.jpgBeing the perfectionist that he is, it is not easy to please Aamir Khan. The guy has got an impeccable taste and a keen eye for observing things. And if he praises something, then it must truly deserve it. The latest movie to catch Aamir’s fancy is none other than ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’, a film about a good-hearted goon and his tryst with Gandhiji.

According to Aamir, Munnabhai is a great film. Though Rang De Basanti is selected as an official entry to Oscars this year, Aamir is humble enough to admit that if he was in the jury, it would have been difficult for him to make a selection between ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ as both are very good films. We totally agree with you Aamir…

Though he does not like to talk about his family, Aamir also told a little personal secret. He said that his son Junaid is usually not appreciative of his films, but he liked Rang De Basanti a lot. Whether Aamir wins an Oscar or not is another question, but he has surely managed to steal his son’s little heart with this film. Good work Aamir !!!

Is Lage Raho Munna Bhai = Rang De Basanti ++ ???

Bhai log… bole to ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ All India mein international hit ho geli hai… aursanjay-lage-raho-munnabhai.jpg akkhi picture 4 baar dekhne ke baad apun ka bheja satka… bole to, thoda time pehle jo all India hit ‘Rang De Basanti’ thi, usme aur isme kya connection hai baap!

Just think about it guys… I feel LRMB was just a step ahead of RDB because RDB spread the message to take inspiration from history and lead a rightful life…. but LRMB literally brought itihaas into the present and spread the message in a larger way…

rang-de-basanti.jpgI feel it didn’t just propagate the message of ahinsa but rather a blend of the two extremes of violence and non-violence… don’t believe me? Then just recollect the scene in which Munna hangs Atmaram’s son upside down from the 12 storied building (what a vinamra scene man :P ) and the final sankat scene too!!!

Whatever he did, Munna bhai rocked… and changed our lives indeed!!!!!!!!
