Koffee With Karan gets thicker
Karan Johar is sure bringing very interesting celebrity group for the friendly chat. After a beautiful evening with the ladies behind “Namesake”- Mira Nair and Tabu, and Farah Khan to compliment them, Karan brings in the two most beautiful sisters in Bollywood- Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty.
He also wanted their mother to be on the show but apparently she declined to be on the show. Perhaps because she already has enough and more controversies surrounding her for the things she ends up saying! Karan: You take up for Shahid a lot… is that true?
Karisma: Yes I do .. don’t I .. (looking at Shahid)

Karan: In what way .. what does he do .. that he needs taking up for?
Karisma: Well, I mean generally … when they are fighting with each other .
I am always caught in the middle of it .. and if I really feel that Shahid is right then I really fire Bebo …

Karan: Initially .. when you were told about Shahid .. what was your comment .. do you remember ..
Karisma: Ahhh .. I was like .. who is this guy .. I mean from where have you found him from ..I mean .. actually like any elder sister I was a bit weary ..I think any elder sister would feel like that ..
Karan: Very protective
Karisma: Yes .. very protective about her ..And when I met Shahid .. I think our first two – three meetings were very stiff .. I was like Hello .. Hi .. How are you ..
Shahid: I was very scared of her ..
Karan: You were scared of here ..
Karisma: I know its very strange .. but he keeps telling me this ..
Shahid: Her chin was always up whenever she met me ..
Karan: You felt she was judging you whenever she met you ..
Kareena: But that Lolo’s nature ..
Shahid: I found her strict ..and I was like .. ”Ok .. I hope she like me ”
Karisma: I think we have a really struck a great friendship .. Shahid and I .. every time he calls me .. ” Can you advise me on this” or I call him .. ”Shahid can you help me out with this .. what do you feel” ..I think we have become really good friends now ..
Karan: That’s fantastic ..So you guys have lot of fun with each ..

Karan Johan is the puppeteer
Manav Gangwani, the famous Fashion Designer, gave a unique gift to Karan Johar. Karan was presented a caricature byt hedesigner. And the caricature had Karan as a puppeteer, sitting in a coffee mug and pulling the strings of super stars like Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, and Preity Zinta.
Karan was very happy to receive the gift. This will give him encouragement to ask his celebrity friends to spill more beans on his show. He sportingly displayed the caricature in his office.
Karan’s Koffee with Krrish
Kofee, Karan and Krrish combination was deadly, and sure the super hero of bollywood- Hrtihik Roshan and the hot actress of Bolywood- Priyanka Chopra set the Koffee on a hot pan. They spoke about everything from their hits, appetite to controversies, relationships and on screen kisses. Have a quick look at the chat we grabbed for you:
Karan: What’s the sexiest compliment you have received?
Hrithik: Well, let me just say that there were these whole bunch of SMSs that I got, in which it was pretty clear that a lot of the girls said that they were very happy… a long way before the film (Dhoom 2) had climaxed.
Karan: (interrupts) I know of a lot of women who went to see the film with their husbands or boyfriends and there were very shattered husbands at the end of the film… and you managed to do that.
Hrithik: It should be something that should motivate them Karan: Would you call them detractors, the ones who turned around and said that Hrithik Roshan works only with his father? What would you call them?
Hrithik: Angels. If it weren’t for them, I don’t think it would have added that little zing in my drive. So, fab. Thank you.
Karan: How’s it been? This year you have had two big hits (Krrish and Don). It’s been a fantastic commercial year for you. Are you thrilled, happy, waiting to do more exciting work?
Priyanka: Yes. I am really looking forward to do some good work. It has been a fantastic year and more than anything my dad came back home this year. He was really unwell last year and that added just to the whole year.
Hrithik: You know, if anything ever happened to Krrish, you can easily go ahead and make a super ‘Krisshi’.
Karan: Because she is really a super girl. Hrithik: She is crazy, she is a shocker.

The hottest Koffee with Karan
The Koffee is getting hotter and hotter. After SRK, Kajol and Rani set the screen ablaze with their rapport on the small screen, here is something which would make you twist and turn and perhaps become a little naughty seeing the small screen. Coming up are Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mallika Sherawat with KAran Johar in the show. What could there be in common between them? Bhansali surprised Mallika by telling her he had always found her to be one of the most promising new discoveries, though she needed to work on her voice modulation. He also gently reminded her to get back to earth when she spoke about her superiority complex.
At one point Mallika high-handedly declares that she would like the three Khans — Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman — to serve her meals. And when Karan cockily asks her which hero’s butt she likes best, Mallika changes the topic to female butts and declares she likes Bipasha Basu’s butt best.

Sunday at 9 p.m on Star One and Star World from February 11, Karan Johar will make his comeback to the small screen with the second season of Koffee with Karan. And guess who inaugurates the guest list: SRK, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee! The team sure creates the magic of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Karan- You are cousins but is there a wide gap between you in real life?
Rani- No!
Kajol- Not really! No!
Karan- So you’ll are literally meeting after 10 years on a sofa?

Rani- I would probably stay behind and give the two parachutes because, really, people want to see them together!

Karan: If you wake up one morning and you realize that you’ve turned into Aamir, you would…Shahrukh: I would tell the world that Shahrukh is the better actor.
Karan Johar plans “Khan” with King Khan
If you are thinking that Karan Johar has been researching and preparing for the second season of his television show “Koffee With Karan”, then you will be surprised to hear that he is not just traveling and researching for his next movie but is also deviating from his love story mode. Karan has been meeting world leaders for his next film on Terrorism.
“Unlike my other films, my next directorial venture goes into an area that I need to get completely right before going on the floors. I’m therefore in the US for three weeks meeting people from various religious, social and humanitarian organisations. None of my films so far have required me to go much beyond my imagination,” says Karan. Nothing except for the name of the film and the protagonist has been fixed for the film. And without much effort on guessing the name will be “Khan” and Shahrukh will feature in and as “Khan”. I can’t wait to see another news on the film!
KBC is Shahrukh’s family affair
‘Great Friends’ that’s what SRK and Karan Johar are. Now that both have their piece of cake on the small screen, exchange is definitely supposed to take place.
And it is quite expected that when Shahrukh plays a guest in ‘Koffee with Karan’, Karan johar will oblige SRK by playing a contestant in KBC 3. This and more as Farah Khan will occupy the hot seat beside Johar to make the evening a friend’s get together. So stay tuned to KBC on the 11th of February for the get together. With SRK in the Anchor’s seat the list of celebrity guests in quite predictable: Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Arbaz Khan, Malaika Arora Khan and so on…
Koffee With Karan in mid February
Kofee With Karan’s second season will soon come on Star World and Star One simultaneously. The show will be at Sunday nights 9 p.m. from 11th of February. The man himself comes out with his new set by Sahrmistha Roy.
The director cum host rattles off an enviable guest list — Sanjay and Priya Dutt, Saif and Soha Ali Khan, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, Kareena and Shahid Kapoor, Mira Nair and Tabu, Vijay Mallya and Shobha De, and Sholay ladies Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan. Outside of this lot, the show kicks off with a return to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai episode with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. And then there are the special episodes. Karan’s filmed a one-on-one episode with Richard Gere, but the biggest expectations are from a show he shot just last night. “She was last year’s unofficial brand ambassador for the show, and was the star of the season without even coming on. So this time we have Mallika Sherawat on the show, and it’s explosive.” And guess who shared the hot seat with her- director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. And Karan says the chemistry between the two was great. “Well, it’s difficult sitting with friends in a semi-formal sitting and asking them questions where you know the answers, and trying not to act too surprised when they’re lying,” says the star host. True…especially when the friends you are chatting on camera are too k…k…close!!!
Koffee with Karan brings Rani and Kajol together
Koffee with Karan-1 couldn’t bring Rani and Kajol, two close friends of Karan together, because of their personal
difference. But this time the new series might open with the two memorable beauties sharing their joy with Karan Johar. And obviously it is Mr Johar who is responsible for this get together and the patch up between the Bengali cousins. The surprise doesn’t end there, none other than Shahrukh will be the surprise element in the show to set the screen on fire with the two beauties. Looks like the first episode is going to be a friends reunion!
