Kareena wants to marry Saif
Rumors are abuzz that Bollywood’s hottest couple Kareena and Saif is eager to tie the knot. Apparently it’s Kareena who wants to settle down.
Kareena dumped Shahid Kapoor after dating him for four years when she found love calling in Saif Ali Khan while filming Tashan together.
The hot couple have planned to announce their marriage after the release of their movie Tashan.
It was reported earlier that Kareena-Saif had a secret Nikaah but the lovers dismissed the rumors.
Lets see if this marriage rumor bites the dust again.
Kareena Kapoor offered a Telugu movie
Apparently the Bollywood babe has been approached by Southern director and producer SJ Suryah and Singanamala Ramesh to star in a Telugu flick titled ‘Puli’. The film will also star South star Pawan Kalyan.
I wonder if Kareena would be successful in Tollywood considering the fact that audience down South love to see fuller and plump heroines romancing their actors.
Tashan Movie Review
TashanTashan is the perfect example of all style and no substance. The Title of the movie goes like this: Tashan-The ishtyle-the good luck-the pharmoola. The movie is plenty on so called ishtyle but lacks the good luck to rule the roost at the box office and the pharmoola also flops. Then what is the saving grace of the flick : It’s undoubtedly Akshay Kumar.
The ishtory of Tashan goes like this:
Lakhan Singh aka Bhaiyyaji loves to talk in English the way he loves running bullets through people’s flesh. Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) works for Bhaiyyaji and charms a cool call center executive Jimmy Cliff (Saif Ali Khan) to teach Bhaiyyaji toothi-poothi English. Its love at first sight for Jimmy and he falls head over heels in love with the skinny beauty Pooja.
Now Pooja lures Jimmy to steal Bhaiyyaji’s paise wala aluminum trunk. But slutty Pooja not only betrays Bhaiyyaji she also kicks off Jimmy’s ass leaving him to fend it himself in front of Bhaiyyaji. Bhaiyyaji summons Bachchan Pande (Akshay Kumar) who is junior Rajnikant and can do gravity defying stunts with utmost ease. Pande’s job is to find the sultry con girl and hand her over to Bhaiyyaji.
Meanwhile clever Pooja divides the loot and hides it in different parts of the country. After a series of boring songs we get to know ala Bollywood ishtyle that Pande and Pooja are childhood lovers and Pooja’s father was dumped to death by Bhaiyyaji. All this crap unfolds across India and is probably called TASHAN.
When I went inside the dingy theatre ( it has not released in multiplexes ) I expected stunning performance by Kareena post her Jab We Met success, Anil Kapoor post his Welcome and Race success, Saif Ali Khan post his Race success and Akshay Kumar post his Bhool Bhulaiyya, Hey Baby and Namastey London’s success. Except Akshay Kumar everybody else burned a big hole in my expectations.
Kareena Kapoor only raises eyebrows with her bikini scene whereas Akshay Kumar steals the thunder right under the noses of Saif, Kareena and Anil. The only reason I went through the three hour Tashan hell was Akshay Kumar- this guy surely rocks. With his ‘this is my rifle(the real gun), this is my gun(his crotch)- this is for shooting and this is for fun’ histrionics he is definitely an eye candy.
The most surprising thing about Tashan is that the director Vijay Krishna Acharya is the same man who had penned the blockbuster hits Dhoom and Dhoom2 earlier. He only scores on witty and humorous dialogues and I give him no points for turning such a lousy story into a movie. Anayanka Bose deserves a pat on the back for great cinematography.
Vishal-Shekhar’s music deserves a mention with songs like Dil Haara and Chaliya, all others are hard to remember.
In the end the movie will be remembered only for Akshay Kumar’s acting, Kareena’s bikini scene and all style sans substance.
Watch Tashan if you have nothing better to do.

Kareena Kapoor going places with Tashan
Her look has been the talk of the town; every other girl likes to look like Kareena and dreams to get that fab Hollywood like abs.
No matter how Tashan fares at the box-office Kareena Kapoor after Jab We Met is here to stay on the top for a long long time.
The beauty with brains is the main reason the audiences are flocking to the theatres to watch Tashan.
Kareena Kapoor is extremely happy to land such a cool role, “I think it’s a tailor made role for any actress. I think I am extremely lucky to get this role. It’s like a hero’s role, it has action, romance, song, dance everything in it besides which I think it has a lot of closeness to me, the kind of girl she is, very headstrong, knows her emotions,” said Bebo.
Well lets hope the luck doesn’t end for Bebo with Tashan’s failure at the box-office.
Tashan boycotted by multiplexes
Tashan has run into trouble just a day before its grand release as the negotiations going on between Yash Raj Films and Multiplexes over sharing revenue has gone down the drain.
Around 125 mulitplex chains like PVR,Adlabs, Inox, Fame India, Fun Cinemas, Movietime and Cinemax have restrained from signing an agreement to screen Tashan. So tomorrow Tashan will not see the light of the day in most of the multiplexes or single screens owned by them.
Apparently Yashraj was demanding higher share of profit around 55 percent for first week collections, which did not go well with Multiplex chains.
Sanjeev Kohli, CEO and director Yash Raj Films said, “YRF has not asked the multiplexes for any incremental terms from those concluded for last year. The terms being discussed are the same as those agreed upon for our films of last year. As done in the past, YRF will compensate the multiplexes in the event that a film does not perform to expectation; we have done this last year as well.”
This proves that inspite of having false bikini buzz and zero-size heroine a film can still land into trouble.

Kareena’s dietician quashes the crash diet rumors
We’ve already seen Bebo’s hot look in Tashan and credit her hot bod to s crash diet but Kareena’s dietician Rujuta Diwekar has denied that Bebo was crash dieting.
Rujuta Diwekar revealed that Kareena has been working on her body since May 2007 and was able to achieve her super body after a year of hard work.
Rujuta said, “She was never pencil thin so I planned her diet that consisted of healthy nutritious food. And contrary to reports in the media that the actress starved herself and had only orange juice is false. There were also stories that she fainted while doing some scene but it is not true.”
The dietician also added, “What worried Kareena was that her fans, especially the teenage girls who look upon her as their icon, would blindly follow the false articles to emulate her and the results could harm them in some way or the other. Kareena did not want that to happen and thus this clarification.”
“She (Kareena) wants her fans to know that she has achieved her super sexy body, over a period of time by being dedicated and disciplined about her eating and fitness habits. She is massively into a strict exercise regime of yoga which she practices for almost 2 hrs a day,” said Rujuta.
I hope this clarification rests all the bad talk about Kareena’s weight! Hopefully.

The little fan we are talking about here is Darsheel Saffary aka Ishaan Awasthi of Taare Zameen Par.
The young lad is a huge fan of Bebo and is dying to meet her at any of the award functions.
Young Darsheel when quizzed about his favorite actress said, ” It’s Kareena Kapoor and I am looking forward to meeting her at any of the award functions that are coming up.”

Shahid Kapoor falls in love again
Now don’t rattle your brain folks ‘coz Radhika is a one year old baby and Shahid’s co-star in Ken Ghosh untitled flick
A laughing Ken said, “Yes, Radhika is the new babe in Shahid’s life. She has a small role in the film and from the day they met they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. It was instant chemistry! Forget Vidya, Sania and Amrita Rao, Shahid had eyes for no one else but Radhika!”
Shahid who has a younger teenage brother has always loved kids but Radhika seems to be special for him. Radhika and Shahid share a great rapo and whenever they get free from the shooting they spend time with each other laughing, playing and chatting in gobbledygook. The pretty young baby is so smitten by handsome Shahid that the moment she sees him she stops crying and stars laughing.
Looks like Shahid’s fatherly instincts are beginning to show at the age of 27. Would we be seeing Shahid with his very own Radhika anytime soon? Well it’s for you to guess.

Director Satish Kaushik has finally caught Shahid and Kareena for dubbing.
Director Satish Kaushik revealed that MM is inspired from Hollywood romance flick Serendipity, “He (Shahid) has already started dubbing for the film. Kareena will dub as soon as she returns from her overseas trip. Yes, the film does have elements of Serendipity,” said Satish.
Since the movie was made 3 years back we will get to see a younger Shahid Kapoor and a plump Kareena Kapoor.
Lets wait and watch the ex love birds in probably (hopefully not) the last and most romantic movie of their lives.
Kareena’s bikinis buzz a false rumor?
A close friend of Kareena said, “Kareena’s successful film Jab We Met gave a boost to her career. She has managed to get that girl next-door image. That role and film has not only given her several best actress awards but has also made her the highest paid actress in Bollywood. Apparently Kareena is apprehensive about her bikini scene which may kill her new found girl next door image.”
When Bebo was asked about her upcoming bikini scene in Tashan, she denied doing any bikini shoot and said there is no bikini scene in Tashan.
But Bebo, your skimpy dresses in Tashan are almost equal to a bikini.

Saif’s eternal ‘Kareena’ tattoo a temporary one
But then an experienced player like Saif Ali Khan is not dumb to get a permanent a tattoo. Apparently the tattoo is not permanent and needs to be dyed every six days so that it retains its color. And if not dyed at regular intervals the tattoo can simply vanish away.
Now Kareena needs to be alert, like Saif’s love could also be similar to his temporary tattoo, can vanish away anytime.
Vivek becomes Kabab Mein Haddi between Saif-Kareena
Kareena and Vivek were last seen together in Omkara.
