No ‘nach, gana’ for Hrithik in Agneepath!
We are surely going to miss out on Hrithik Roshan’s dance moves in Agneepath. Well, the film has no scope for Hrithik to show his dancing skills. Producer Karan Johar will tell you the reason.
Karan Johar says, “Not at all! Our character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan cannot just start dancing! It’s absolutely against the character.”
Joking about being killed by the films director Karan Malhotra, if he even mentioned about a dance number on Hrithik Roshan and dropping the director’s way, subtle hints, Karan Johar says, ‘who naach kyu nahi sakta?’, ‘usse kuch toh karao gaane mein!’
Hrithik Roshan role in the film Agneepath is very serious and intense. Karan Johar say that the audience will get to see more of Hrithik’s character’s intensity and emotional anger in the second theatrical promo of ‘Agneepath’, which will be out with Don 2.
However, it’s going to be really hard on HR fans not seeing him dancing.
Ra.One, already declared a superhit!!
The first copy of one of the most antisipated film of the year Ra.One was watched by Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal and Karan Johar. The trio had all praises for the film.
Shahrukh Khan aka G.One wrote on twitter: “Everyone seemed to enjoy the Ra.One experience at the trial. Allah has been very kind to all of us & I hope all of u appreciate the newness.”
The villain of Ra.One, Arjun Rampal, too, appreciated the film to the core. He wrote: “Just saw RA1 guys so happy, guys get ready for a ride, so proud of the whole team. Especially the Vfx department.”
Karan Johar, was overjoyed by the final outsome of the film. He tweeted: “I just saw RA1! Adrenalin pumping and the best computer graphics india has ever seen!!! Its a MEGA BLOCKBUSTER super hero ride!! OUTSTANDING.”
Karan also mentioned Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor in his tweet, showering praises for their work in Ra.One: “Arjun rampal makes a stunning impact and my darling bebo is the most beautiful ever!!!! Watch out for the kid armaan in the film!!!”
Congratulating SRK’s superb acting skills, Karan Johar wrote: “@iamsrk is not only a mega movie star but every inch of his performance is conviction personified!!!”
Ra.One is all set to hit the big screen tomorrow i.e. 26 October. Hope you guys have booked your tickets!!
Kareena is born to act…
Kareena Kapoor has not stopped smiling ever since she was publicly appreciated by Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter.
Impressed with her level of commitment towards the film Ra. One, Shah Rukh Khan recently praised Kareena on the micro blogging site. SRK tweeted: “Finished the last few bits of Ra. One with Kareena. Want to thank her for working so hard and fast she was such a sport.”
“Kareena was born to act. She is a natural; she has no craft, grammar or process attached to her acting. She is gifted with a great sense of cinema that I have seen only in Kajol other than her. Move her from the sets of Golmaal to a Jab We Met to a Chameli on the same day, and Bebo will fit into them all,” says director Karan Johar.
Every Bollywood babe wants to share the couch with Madhuri….
Karan Johar invited Madhuri Dixit on his show Koffee With Karan. He wanted a fitting guest to accompany the beauty. When he started seeking for one, he was shocked by the number of calls he got. Every other actress wanted to share the couch with Mads.
Karan tells a tabloid, “I can’t say I’m amazed by Madhuri’s popularity. When I decided to invite her on my show I didn’t know that her popularity seeps down right to the youngest of Bollywood.”
The TV show host was flooded with requests, and whenever any Bollywood babe called him, he knew what the reason behind that was. Karan couldn’t decide whom he should call along side Madhuri. Now as per reports, it’s Sonkashi Sinha who will get lucky to be with Mads on Karan’s show.
Student Of The Year First Look….
B-Town was abuzz with the news that Karan Johar is launching Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt and David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan in his next.
Now, Karan has proved the speculations right by releasing the first look of the film which is titled Student Of The Year, and guess who else is producing the film, his good friend Shahrukh Khan.
Yes, the promotion of Student Of The Year has started online. Karan Johar, using his Twitter handle, posted the first look of the film which has three posters featuring the young actors Varun, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.
Keeping the promise to promote youngsters, Karan has come up with this youthful film which can remind many of his first film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which also had a college set-up. Varun and Siddharth already have an experience in film-making as they have assisted various directors.
Salman Khan is next, to sip on Koffee With Karan…
Salman Khan has finally agreed to show up on the chat show Koffee With Karan. This is going to be the first time that Salman would appear on the show.
According to a source, “Salman Khan has given his consent to appear on the show. This is something that he has never done in the past. Karan and Salman have become good friends now. In fact, Karan was spotted on several occasions at Salman’s residence Galaxy Apartments. Salman also put up a picture on his Twitter account that has him, Karan and model Hrishant Goswami.”
If buzz is to be believed, Karan wanted Aamir and Salman to appear on his show together. He even tried but failed.
Last Sunday, it was Shahrukh who appeared on the chat show. And going by his talks and confessions, it really looks like this new year, the old foes ( SRK and Sallu) will become best buddies.
We wonder if Karan will play an integral role in getting them back together or not.
SRK pours out his soul in Koffee With Karan… Karan moved to tears…
Shahrukh Khan was in a mood to bare his heart while appearing on buddy Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan.
SRK has been in confession mood lately. After confessing that he’s been depressed for a good part of this year, he’s spoken out frankly about his friends that have been falling out, namely Salman Khan and Farah Khan.
On Karan Johar’s show KWK, when SRK was asked about Farah and Salman, he is reported to have said: “I don’t know how to make friends and if I do, I don’t know how to keep them….If Salman and Farah are upset with me it’s 100 per cent my fault but I can’t pick up the phone and say sorry…. I can’t apologise because of ego but because I can’t just get myself to ask people to come back to me… I had asked my parents to come back and they didn’t…”

Agneepath’s Mary Becomes Kaali in the Remake
We all know that Karan Johar is remaking his dad’s first production- Agneepath. Agneepath, though was not a commercial success, won Amitabh his first Filmfare award for his portrayal of the character Vijay Dinanath Chavan.
Well, Hrithik has been finalised to step into Vijay Chavan’s shoes while Priyanka will play the female lead. The female lead in the original was done by Madhavi who plays the role of nurse Mary.
In the remake, the name of Priyanka’s character changes to Kaali and the profession changes to prostitution. This is the first time in her career that Priyanka will be portraying an on-screen prostitute.
Well, Karan Johar definitely knows how to spice up things, does he not?
Kareena’s Coldest Night With Saif
Kareena Kapoor experienced the coldest night with her beau Saif Ali Khan while shooting in Philadelphia. The couple is otherwise quite cosy together but Kareena needed a whole lot of winter wear including jackets, shawls, boots and pullovers to keep warm while shooting for Karan Johar’s flick with Saif.
She said, “It was the coldest night of my life… You’ve no idea what it was like in that heavy snowfall with a unit of 80 people. But it looked like heaven.”
No points for guessing who made it ‘heavenly’ in such freezing cold for Kareena. The couple decided to keep shooting in such an extreme climate because they want to take a break from Christmas to New Year for Saif’s annual family bash at his ancestral home.
Sexual Orientation Gossip Bothers Karan Johar
Much has been said (and spoofed) about Karan Johar’s happy and ‘gay’ mannerisms. The fact that K.Jo is successful yet still single (no wife, no girlfriend) really gave people a chance to gossip about his sexual orientation.
The man has been subtly trying to get homosexuality a bit of social acceptance in a conservative country like India (read: Kantaben sequences in Kal Ho Naa Ho and now the entire movie Dostana) but obviously disguising it as light hearted humor and pun.
People have been assuming that Karan Johar is a gay and perhaps that is why he keeps getting the topic of homosexuality in his films. But K.Jo seems to be unfazed or rather irritated with the gossip, he says,
“I don’t care about what people’s perceptions are. People have questioned me about my orientation often. I feel it’s nobody’s problem. There are two words, private and personal, which I haven’t put in this English language, but I know they mean something, that’s why they are attached to the word ‘life’, private life and personal life. It’s my prerogative to say “it’s not your problem; it’s none of your concern”.
He’s added, “People don’t know any thing about me actually and I don’t want them to share whether I have a marriage hidden somewhere or I have a relationship that no one knows about or I don’t have anything and I am a monk in my head and I have taken an oath of celibacy.”
Well Karan… obviously no one cares… we are just CURIOUS
