YRF flick to star Shahrukh, Kajol and Katrina???

Buzz has it that in the upcoming YRF’s a romantic saga, starring SRK and Katrina Kaif in the lead role, Kajol too, will have a major role to play. It seems that, there is another spot in the movie and YRF’s favourite actress, Kads is being considered for it.

The source reveals, “Chopra is very keen to have Kads opposite Shah Rukh. He is quite fond of both of them and loves their onscreen pairing. He feels that they can create the same magic.”

“While it’s sure that Katrina will star in the film, it could be possible that the movie is a love triangle and that they have approached Kajol to either reprise the other romantic lead or do a cameo,” the source further adds.

The filmmaker who has directed movies like Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Silsila, etc. is returning to direction after seven years, with a romantic film. His last directorial venture was Veer Zara in 2004.

Kajol is back on screen.

After a six month break, Kajol has finally resumed work. She joined back in April. She was on a long break following the birth of her second child, son Yug, on September 13, 2010.

According to a source, Bollywood’s favorite actress has been shooting TV commercials for brands that she endorses and works on week days only. She has also signed on as brand ambassador for two new brands.
Kajol has not yet signed on for a new film.

She was last seen in We Are Family (2010) with co-stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.

Kajol Troubles Karan Johar for Nysa

Kajol, after months of persuasion from Karan Johar agreed to do his film The Name is Khan. And Karan Johar is really having a hard time to deal with Kajol, who had agreed to do the film on the condition that he should use her dates for the overseas shoot of the film for not more than 20 days at a stretch.

A source says, “Kajol has told the director-producer that she would shoot for 20 days non-stop on location to enable all the outdoor scenes being canned. She desires that the indoor portions be shot as far as possible in Mumbai. As her hubby Ajay Devgan is also busy with his shoots, she wants to be around for Nysa. The child cannot travel with them all the time. Also, Kajol does not want to stay away from Mumbai for months.”

Poor Karan Johar is having a hard time managing his finances with his leading lady shuttling between the foreign locations and Mumbai for her daughter.

After the bollywood has the concepts of its movies like Bhool Bhulaiya taken from the Tamil movie industry, it’s time they borrowed the Hindi Legendary movie Baazigar’s concept for a remake in Tamil. The 1993 blockbuster is to be directed by P. Vasu in Tamil with his son playing the lead. The blockbuster was said to be inspired by the Hollywood movie, “A Kiss Before Dying” made in 1991.
After the disastrous remake of Sholay in Hindi, we do hope this Tamil movie would be a better version.

Kajol’s father passes away

Tragedy struck Kajol when her father Shomu Chaterjee passed away a day before the release of her new flick ‘U Me aur Hum.’

Shomu Chatterjee was a very well known writer, director and producer and made classics like Sangdil Sanam and Pathar ke Insaan.

Shomu Chatterjee is survived by his wife Tanuja and two daughters Kajol and Tanishaa.

Let’s pray that God give strength to the Mukherjee family to cope up with this tragedy.

May his soul rest in peace.
