Agneepath soaring high!
Bollywood’s first blockbuster of the year is Agneepath. The film has collected a whopping sum of Rs. 92 crore net at the box office.
We had already predicted this on the opening day itself, after the film collected Rs 23 crore.
The film did start to dip throughout the week, however, at the ed, its managed a heartening collection of 92 crore, making it a superhit.
Now that the film didn’t face any competition so far, it might soon reach the 100 crore club.
The next big release would be Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu on February 10.
Agneepath, a superhit!
Agneepath is a HIT! Though there was a slight fall in the collections of Friday, it picked up very well on Saturday and Sunday and is still going strong.
On 26th Jan, the film opened to a bombarding start, breaking all records of the first-day earning, collecting a whopping sum of Rs. 23 crore. Friday, 27th Jan, was a bit shaky as the movie collected jus Rs 12 crore. However, the amount raised to Rs 14.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.5 crore on Sunday.
The weekend saw a total collection of Rs. 67.5 crore.
The next big flick will be Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu, starring Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan, releasing on the 10th of Feb.
Its raining money for Agneepath at the Box Office…
Agneepath is doing super awesome at the box office. It opened to a mind blowing response, with 90 percent of the cinema houses, houseful.
The film having received positive reviews from almost all film critics, is sure to emerge as the first blockbuster of 2012, with a four day weekend being its plus point.
The film is said to have broken the highest first-day collection record of Salman Khan’s ‘Bodyguard’, crossing the 21 crore mark.
Bollywood on ‘Agneepath’… A must watch!
January 2012 hasn’t seen any interesting releases yet. However, now, all eyes are fixed on 26th Jan, i.e. tomorrow, as Agneepath, one of the most awaited flicks of the year, is set to hit theaters. Going by the posters, trailers and the music, the film starring Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan and Sanjay Dutt as the villain Kancha Cheena, is surely going to have theaters packed
If trade analysts are to be gone by, Agneepath is said to open with a positive response. It is heard that pre bookings have already and the film promises to make big bucks. More than the lead star, Hrithik, the film looks like it belongs to the villian, Kancha Cheena aka Sanjay Dutt.
Last night, a special screening of Agneepath was held and celebs couldn’t stop raving about the film.
Taking social media as a medium to shower their praises, some of the celebs tweeted.

Hrithik Roshan has worked very very hard to get in shape for his forthcoming flick Krrish 2, where he is a superhero. In a very short span of time, around 10 weeks, the actor reduced from 36Kgs to 28 Kgs.
During the workout sessions, Hrithik suffered a slip-disc and was advised complete bed rest. He is on a strict diet plan with workouts to remain fit.

Why did ZNMD team boycotts Colors Screen Awards?
At the 18th Annual Colors Screen Awards on Saturday, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ shared the Best Film award with ‘The Dirty Picture’. However, the entire ZNMD team barring Katrina Kaif, boycotted the Award function. Reason: One of the jury members, Sanjay Gupta comments on the flick being a copy.
Says a source close to the Akhtars, “They stayed away after they heard of this ridiculous scheme to keep two filmmakers and their teams happy by putting them both up for Best Picture.”
The comment coming from Sanjay Gupta has particularly hurt the Akhtars.
Says the source, “The guy has made his career out of filching foreign DVDs. And he accuses Zoya of copying some film that no one has heard of!”
After all this, the relations between Farhan Akhtar and Sanjay Gupta have definitely gone sour.

Watch the very talented Priyanka Chopra dance to the third track from Agneepath, titled ‘Gun Gun Guna’. The song has been released online by Dharma Movies.
The Song has Priyanka Chopra, loaded with energy, dancing, with an attempt to cheer up the sad Hrithik Roshan.
We loved the song, the dance and off course the emotions Hrithik expressed through out. The lyrics are not that impressive though.

Hrithik turns witty and naughty!
Hrithik Roshan recently gave the media a tongue-in-cheek reply, telling one of the journalists that he would teach her how to kiss, at the Agneepath press meet.
At the event, Hrithik was questioned about his kiss scene with Priyanka Chopra, in his upcoming flick, Agneepath. The actor said there is no such scene in the film.
Despite confirming that there i no kissing scene in the film, a female journalist insisted him further. Hrithik then said, “If you think any of those scenes are kissing scene, you don’t know how to kiss! Come on stage, and I’ll teach you how it’s done!”
This reply got the lady in an awkward situation. However, the actor continued joking around with the media around him.and claimed that he would be more than happy to give kissing tips to whomever may want them.
Jacqueline rejects Hrithik, choses John!
When Jacqueline Fernandez was asked to lock lips with John Abraham, the actress just couldn’t say no. The actress will be seen opposite John in Abbas-Mustan’s Race 2.
A source close to the film, “Jacqueline will be playing John Abraham’s love interest in Abbas-Mustan’s Race 2. She is going to shoot for an intimate lip-lock scene with John soon.”
If buzz is to be believed, Jacqueline has once refused to kiss the Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan. Now, that she has accepted to lock lips with John, it has come as a surprise to many.
Well, it is heard that Sajid Khan who is currently dating the gorgeous actress, must have influenced her decision as he is a very good friend to John.
The next schedule of the film begins on January 14th. According to sources,If sources are to believed, this schedule will also see the other lead pair Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone involved in a steamy scene.

Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan are seen emoting so very well. It looks so real. Those tears of pain gushing down Priyanka’s face, while a consoling Hrithik holds her hand amorously. The sudden happiness that reflects on her face the moment Hrithik holds her hand.
The chemistry between the two is simply so perfect.
The music of Agneepath is composed by Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale while the lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
