Ektaa Kapoor in Love with Ronit Roy?
Ekta Kapoor has long been single and just as we wonder whether the Balaji honcho ever plans to settle down in life or not, she hints that she is looking for someone who is just like Ronit Roy.
Apparently Ekta Kapoor finds Ronit Roy extremely good looking and handsome and if she gets someone as good looking as him, she would immediately get married – not even worrying about the ‘Ks’ in his name.
I guess that was a very obvious hint for Ronit. But all I want to say is – Beware Ronit!
Ekta Kapoor Gives Up Her Ego, Frees Prachi!
Ekta Kapoor is extremely possessive about her actors and she has been to known to have giving her actors a hard time if they tried to break their commitments with her production house.
Rajiv Khandelwal was one actor she was very possessive about, they had a huge spat when he chose to walk out of her daily soap for a career in movies. Now Prachi Desai walked out on Ekta and struck gold with Rock On. Quite obviously she was flooded with offers from big banners after the success of Rock On. But Prachi could not sign any film because of her committments with Balaji telefilms.
Prachi apparently called up Ekta and requested to release her from all the prior committments. So Ekta voluntarily gave up on her ego and let Prachi sign new movies. Prachi has already signed two of Mahesh Bhatt’s films – Jashan and Life Partner.
Finally… something sensible from Ekta Kapoor.

Ekta Kapoor Wants a Masterpeice in a Film Based on Underworld
“My film for Ekta Kapoor will take a penetrating look at gangsters in the 1980s. I’m quite enamored by the period, quite taken up by the period and its flamboyance. There was a lot action and lots of inner life in some of the films from during that period. I think the last film that looked at gangsters from inside was Anurag Basu’s ‘Gangster’.”
Let’s see if this film beats the movies of the gangster film guru Ram Gopal Verma.
