Ekta Kapoor has long been single and just as we wonder whether the Balaji honcho ever plans to settle down in life or not, she hints that she is looking for someone who is just like Ronit Roy.

Apparently Ekta Kapoor finds Ronit Roy extremely good looking and handsome and if she gets someone as good looking as him, she would immediately get married – not even worrying about the ‘Ks’ in his name.

I guess that was a very obvious hint for Ronit. But all I want to say is – Beware Ronit!

Ekta Kapoor is extremely possessive about her actors and she has been to known to have giving her actors a hard time if they tried to break their commitments with her production house.

Rajiv Khandelwal was one actor she was very possessive about, they had a huge spat when he chose to walk out of her daily soap for a career in movies. Now Prachi Desai walked out on Ekta and struck gold with Rock On. Quite obviously she was flooded with offers from big banners after the success of Rock On. But Prachi could not sign any film because of her committments with Balaji telefilms.

Prachi apparently called up Ekta and requested to release her from all the prior committments. So Ekta voluntarily gave up on her ego and let Prachi sign new movies. Prachi has already signed two of Mahesh Bhatt’s films – Jashan and Life Partner.

Finally… something sensible from Ekta Kapoor.

Ramu has his imagination expanding to horizon post Sarkar Raj. The director has now decided to make a film yet again on underworld. The subject will be the late Tamil Terror, Veerappan. And the television queen, Ekta Kapoor will be accompanying him. Ramu has already spoken to Veerappan’s wife and says that he would cast totally new faces in this movie.

“Veerappan’s wife visited us. After listening to our intentions, she gave us valuable inputs and insights into the true story of Veerappan and she is completely endorsing and standing by the project. The film will primarily cater to the national audiences, but as Veerappan is known at an international level, it is bound to arouse interest even outside India.”

Hope Ektaa’s ‘K’ charm works on to get Ramu a hit this time!!!

While Kareena’s massive weight loss is creating news everywhere, its also inspiring a lot of people. The television queen Ektaa Kapoor recently went on a crash diet to lose that extra flab. Ektaa says this weight loss would be her birthday gift to herself, besides, she also needs to fit in her new dresses for her birthday.

“I want a curvy body for my birthday party. I saw Kareena in a bikini in Tashan. Now I want a body like that for myself.”

With the weight loss trend catching along, hope Ektaa doesn’t heads towards anorexia.

Ekta kapoor has ordered director Milan Lutharia to make a film based on underworld with a total different concept. And her choice of the actor is of course the baap of the filmi gangster: Sanjay Dutt. Milan Lutharia who has also directed films like taxi no 0211 and kachche dhaage, has to say,

“My film for Ekta Kapoor will take a penetrating look at gangsters in the 1980s. I’m quite enamored by the period, quite taken up by the period and its flamboyance. There was a lot action and lots of inner life in some of the films from during that period. I think the last film that looked at gangsters from inside was Anurag Basu’s ‘Gangster’.”

Let’s see if this film beats the movies of the gangster film guru Ram Gopal Verma.
