Rajnikant’s will romance Deepika, Vidya and Rekha…
Its going to be a real treat for all the Rajnikant fans, watching his upcoming flick Rana. The film has Rajni playing a triple role and so its obvious that he would be romancing three ladies. Well, the day the was announced, there has been a lot of speculation on who will bag the coveted parts. However, the names are out now.
Rekha was the first to be named. Deepika Padukone was too busy to commit to the project initially, but walked out of Housefull sequel to take out dates for Rajinikanth. And the third lady, will be none other than the very talented Vidya Balan.
Interestingly, all three heroins are from down south and so there will be no problem for them essaying their dialogues. May be that’s the reason, Rajni finalized theses three ladies…
The movie, will see Rajnikant playing the role of an old man, middle aged man and a young man. The flick is being directed by KS Ravi Kumar.
OKAY!!! Rajnikant playing a young man???? Well, anything and everything is possible with the superstar… 
Deepika Padukone ups the mercury level with her chic cover for Vogue India magazine..
The gorgeous Deepika Padukone is back on the March issue cover of the Vogue magazine for the fourth time and this time, she looks extremely elegant and sexy. Deepika who’s in good sheen these days for the item song Dum Maro Dum, has flaunted a pink colored dress from the burberry spring 2011 collection.
The last time she graced the Vogue cover was in May 2010 when she brought back the denim trend. She flaunted the 90′s signature style, by wearing a pair of denim dangri’s.
Even before this, Deepika has featured on the July 2009 cover, donning a hopelessly romantic Dolce and Gabbana floral dress, looking absolutely stunning. However, her first vogue cover of November 2007 issue was too simple.
To sum it up, this photogenic face has got better with every cover of the fashion bible and her latest hot pink cover is certainly going to set the temperatures soaring high this summer.

The truth is out!!! Deepika and Siddharth are dating each other…
Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Mallya have always been tight-lipped about on going their relationship. But the cat is now out of the bag and neither Deepika nor Siddharth can deny love affair.
The couple has been under the media scanner ever since Deepika broke up with her then boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. DP and Jr Mallya were often seen at various events in each other’s company but they always maintained the “just friends” tag.
Of all people, it’s the English batsman Kevin Pietersen who has unwittingly revealed the truth about the couple’s relationship status.
“Just had a lovely lunch with @sidharthamallya & his girlfriend @deepikapadukone..Thanks for picking up the bill Deepika..”

After constant denial for months together by the couple, just one sentence from the English cricketer, confirmed their romance. The duo has apparently been together for a year now.

Uncomfortable in a mini, Deepika switches to shorts…
Deepika Padukone’s sizzling item number in Dum Maaro Dum is getting hotter and hotter by the day. It seems, DP’s outfit for the song was a sexy bikini halter-top paired with the shortest skirt designed by Anahita Adajania Shroff. News also had it that, Deepika worked really hard to look her best in that outfit. However, after all the hard work, the actress finally decided to wear shorts instead of the sexy skirt, as she thought that the skirt was too short for her.
A source explaining the need for the change says, “The skirt Anahita designed barely covered the actress’s derriere yet looked stunning on her. During trials, DP received several compliments. Director Rohan Sippy had briefed her and she understood that the song needed sexy clothes. The trouble began when she started rehearsing for the song.
The steps were difficult to do because of the skirt’s length.”
The director was ready to change the dance steps so as to make DP feel comfortable in the skirt. But Deepika is not a person to give up. She insisted they keep the choreography and switch to shorts instead.
Adds the source, “She walked up to Rohan and told him there was no way she could move her legs and do the steps in the skirt. A consensus was reached and the outfit was changed soon after. The actress ended up wearing shorts and tassels over it to look like a skirt.”
SRK’s ‘D’ stands for Deepika Padukone???
The ‘D’ tattoo on Shahrukh Khan’s arm is making quite a lot of buzz in and around Bollywood. SRK who is not fond of tattoos is more than happy to flaunt it, but what does ‘D’ stands for? Ask SRK, and he will show his wit.
Known for his sense of humour, Khan loves to give witty replies to the questioned tossed at him. The star is constantly being asked what the tattoo ‘D’ stands for, and he replies, “It’s for Deepika Padukone!” His wonderful Om Shanti Om co-star.
However, this ‘D’ is a mehendi tattoo which looks like a permanent one and it is for his upcoming action thriller Don 2. So ‘D’ stands for Don, once the star is done with the film, the tattoo will be gone.

Deepika’s wish to romance Salman Khan might come true!!!
Latest buzz has it that, the Om Shanti Om girl, Deepika Padukone is a front runner to star opposite Salman Khan in Ramesh Taurani’s Ladies and Gentleman. Ramesh Taurani of Tips is again teaming up with Rajkumar Santoshi for the film.
As per sources, Deepika might even cut down her fee for this project; money is not the issue.
“She is so kicked about working with Sallu that she hasn’t charged her market price. This is not something she does often,” tells a source to a tabloid.
The actress has consistently mentioned in interviews that she’s love to work with the Dabangg star.
However, Taurani maintains, “The film goes on floors in December but we haven’t locked an actress yet.”
We hope Dippy’s wish comes true…
Ranbir, not interested to work with Deepika…
Bollywood’s casanova, Ranbir Kapoor is not very pleased with the idea of working with his ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone.
News has it that, ‘Wake Up Sid’ director Ayan Mukherjee, is in the process of writing another script with Ranbir Kapoor in mind and he wants the Deepika Padukone to play his leading lady. Her character in the film will be that of a modern girl with traditional values. And Deepika seems to fit the bill perfectly.
Apart from all this, Ayan has always wanted to direct Deepika.
However, if buzz is to be believed, Ranbir isn’t keen on working with Deepika. He has made it very clear to Ayan. But, if we heard it right, after their break-up both Ranbir and Deepika had said that they were open to doing films together.
Ayan Mukherjee is still working on the script and hasn’t begun the casting process yet.
Akshay Kumar out, Deepika opts for Rajnikant….
Deepika Padukone has finally chosen superstar Rajnikahnt over Akshay Kumar. Last week, news had it that Deepika was approached for a film opposite Rajinikanth, but the actress couldn’t decide due to unavailability of dates. .But now, Deepy has finally made her choice.
The actress has apparently stepped out Housefull sequel opposite Akshay Kumar and decided to work with Rajnikant (Who wouldn’t want to work with the superstar after the stupendous success of Robot???). Though rumors have it that Akki is not really happy with Deeps, Deepika on the other hand feels the bargain is worth it. However, Sajid Nadiadwala, the producer of Housefull, seems to have no issues with the actress over her opting out from the film. He does understands Deepika’s professional decision and respects it.
The film titled Rana, the superstar will be seen in a triple role. The film will be produced by his daughter Saundarya Rajinikanth. Deepika has heard the script and liked it.
This is surely like a dream come true for Deepika…
‘Let bygones be bygones’: Deepika says to Katrina… They are friends now….
The year 2011 is seeing some of the most inconceivable patch-ups in Bollywood. And Karan Johar’s parties have always been a place for patch-ups. Last year at his birthday bash, Aishwarya and Shah Rukh mended their differences. And this year, KJo’s Tuesday night bash post his Filmfare success for Best Director, proved to be another patch-up venue.
Guess who patched up this time???
Well, They are none other than the gorgeous Bollywood beauties, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif… They finally ended their ongoing cold war and this time, it was Deepika who made the first move.
Both the divas grabbed a lot of attention when they were seen talking at the party. While the two were busy making up for what had happened in the past, their respective ‘good friends’ Siddhartha Mallya and Ranbir Kapoor were standing comfortably far apart.
Says an eyewitness, “Deepika broke the ice. She walked up to Katrina and told her, ‘Let bygones be bygones. Jo ho gaya so ho gaya. I hold nothing against you. I don’t blame anybody. I have moved on in life and am in a very happy space now”.
What was Katrina’s reaction???
Revealed the witness, “Katrina was a bit surprised, but she quickly gathered herself and told Deepika, ‘Oh, that’s fine.
I am very happy that you spoke to me. The load is off my chest’.”
After the patch episode, the two looked extremely comfortable with each other in the party.
The two actresses have not been on talking terms for more than two years. Before this, they had crossed paths on several occasions but had ignored each other completely.
If sources are to be believed, Karan wanted Deepika and Katrina to star in Dostana 2.
Lets hope, KJo’s dream may just materialize…
