Celina Jaitley has tasted a little bite of the so-called success of Golmaal Returns but she still feels she is unlucky, especially in love. She celebrated her 27th birthday on 24th November without the ’someone special’ in her life.

“So maybe for my birthday, god will grant me romance and love. About time I got lucky in love,” Celina told IANS.

Nevertheless, something good came up with the absence of love in her life. She spent her birthday partying with destitute girls at Regina Spaces she threw a party at the NGO premises for them.

“I threw a birthday party for my girls. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them smile. Wish my family was here.”

Celina’s family too couldn’t make it to Mumbai for the occasion and her pet dog made sure she doesnt have a peaceful day before her birthday.

“So for me it was not a very happy birthday. My parents left Mumbai and my dog didn’t take well to their absence. So she swallowed plastic. The entire day before my birthday the vet was trying to pull the plastic out of her throat. Not a very pleasant way to bring in my birthday.”

She didnt have anyone to gift her anything so she gifted herself a brand new BMW.

“I need that boost. I’ve been working hard and my ‘Golmaal Returns’ is a hit. So I need to indulge myself. I know a girl’s best friend are diamonds. But she needs a posh car to get to the jewellery store. So a BMW,” said Celina.

Its not always bad to be alone on birthdays isn’t it… especially if you can afford a BMW.

Former Miss India and not so famous actress Celina Jaitley has stood up for Gay Rights. She participated in their Pride Parade at Girgaum Chowpatty in Mumbai.

Celina tells us, “Gays are God’s own creation like you are God’s own creation. It is not their choice to be a part of this uncommon community. Why shouldn’t they live peacefully and freely with a person of their choice? Do you know what stress they undergo when people around them treat them with hatred? It not only shatters them but also destroys their progress. They have a heart and mind of their own. They should be given the freedom of living and moving with their kind of people.”

It is the first time that we see an Indian actress stand up for the cause of Gay Rights which is still considered a taboo for some image conscious actresses. On being asked why Celina took such a bold step.

“Actually I have some good friends who are Gays. I now have known them for so long. They too are sincere and hard working lot. They are like any other homo sapiens. The instinct that attracts them to the same sex is an inborn quality. This instinct separates them from us. But if one goes into the depth of this fact you realize, this attraction is not under their control, then why disallow the gays to live with a person of their choice,” she adds.

Hope Celina’s presence helps Gays a bit!

Celina Jaitley has been out of news as well as bollywood buzz for quite a long time. And now she’s back again, not with a movie, but surely with a controversy. The lady who was in news recently for accusing a German man for misbehaving with her at a hotel in Mumbai, has now filed a lawsuit against actress cum model, Pooja Bedi. Celina has allegedly accused Pooja of calling her “mentally ill” and “dellusional”. Celina was offered to participate in Fear Factor, which she turned down. But when they used her name for the publicity, Celina was mad at them, and then, to make matters worse, we had Pooja Bedi giving her names like that!!!
