Sonakshi comfortable with older actors!
Sonakshi had recently admitted that she prefers working with older men in the industry and that she is more comfortable with them. Even since she made such a confession, younger actors in Bollywood do not want to be paired with her and the main reason is that she would look older than them.
It was heard that Sonakshi wanted to pair up with Ranbir Kapoor. However, RK refused her for the very fact that she would look older than him. The same applied to Shahid Kapoor too.
According to a source, “Sonakshi is very keen to work with Ranbir and Shahid, who are closer to her age. More so since she’s also working with Imran Khan in Milan Luthria’s sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. But it seems she heard about Shahid joking that she would look older to him if they were to do a film together. That’s why she’s said to have declined the remake of Vettai.”
Interestingly, we we notice, all of Sonakshi’s co-stars till date have been older actors. Two films with Salman Khan, three with Akshay Kumar and another with Ajay Devgn.
Sonal-Neil, dating???
Actress Sonal Chauhan and Neil Nitin Mukesh together are painting the town red, hanging out at various places every now and then. However, the actress makes it clear that the two are close friends and like to hang out together.
Talking to a tabloid, Sonal Chauhan got candid about her alleged link-up with Neil Nitin Mukesh. She denies dating the actor, though she claims to be “goof friends” with him.
Answering about the PDA snaps with Neil, Sonal says, “This is how people of my age pose for pictures to put up on social networking sites. That’s how everyone behaves.”
Sonal and Neil will be seen in a supernatural thriller. Rumors has it that it was Neil who helped her bag the film.
The sensuality factor in Jannat 2 is very high!
Jannta 2 which releases today, has a high factor of sensuality, admits filmmaker Kunal Deshmukh. However, according to the director, kissing is not a bold gesture. The film stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role.
“There are no bold scenes in the film. I don’t think a liplock is bold anymore. This film is not pushing on sex. I wanted a small love making sequence and a couple of lip locks which Esha Gupta was comfortable as an actor,” Kunal Deshmukh told..
Deshmukh’s first choice of actress preferance was Prachi Desai. But since she wasn’t very comfortable doing the love making scenes, Esha Gupta was finalized.
“When I first pitched the story to Prachi, the sensuality was a little low and she was very clear about what she is willing to do and what she is not willing to do. I was told by Bhatt sir that we need to step up in terms of sensuality in the film because Bhatt cinema requires little bit of skin show, little bit of lip-lock because it is expected from an Emraan film,” said Kunal Deshumkh.
“I had a conversation with Prachi and I am glad that she made things clear about what she is willing to do. Then we parted ways. No point on having an ugly conversation on the sets,” added the 30-year-old.
“Jannat 2″ releases today, May 4.
Vidya Balan receives National Award!
She is one actress in Bollywood, who is bold, beautiful and super talented . Well, we are talking about Vidya Balan. Bollywood is truly lucky to have found her. The actress received the National Award from the Indian Vice President Hamid Ansari in New Delhi for her superb performance in The Dirty Picture, on Thursday.
Vidya, donned a rose pink-coloured Kanjeevaram saree and needless to say, she looked stunning as always.
Vidya Balan after having recieved the award, told reporters,
“I am extremely humbled. This (National Award) is the highest honour for any actor, and I feel happy and humbled and I just wish that the team of The Dirty Picture was with me to share this moment. This is truly humbling,”.
Vidya’s parents had accompanied her to the event. What was interesting is that her boyfriend Siddharth Roy Kapur was also presnet at the same event, receiving the award for Chillar Party (Best Children’s Film) on behalf of UTV.
The 59th National Film Awards ceremony was a grand event.

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has been more in news for her personal life rather than professional. Breaking her silence, the actress got candid about her relationship rumors, in a recent interview.
Rubbishing reports about she and Shahid Kapoor getting cosy at a bash thrown by Imran Khan, Anushka slammed the media saying the media makes normal stuff look dirty! She added that its pretty normal to enter parties with co-stars and that she making an entry to the bash with Shahid Kapoor is pretty normal too.
The actress also made it clear that she will never date any guy from the film industry. And, if love happens in the industry, she will be quite about it. She even stressed on the fact that Ranveer Singh is nothing more than a friend.

Rana Duggubati is already in a relationship!
Putting rest to all rumors about he and Bipasha seeing each other, Rana Duggubati confirms, he is already in a commited relationship with someone else.
“We are friends and we continue to be friends. The entire team of ‘Dum Maro Dum’ from Rohan to Abhishek to Bipasha all are my friends. I am seeing someone but not from here (Bollywood). It is too early to talk about it,” Rana told in an interview.
“I am fed up of the question (about dating Bipasha or not)…let’s move on,” he said.
The 27-year-old actor added, “All this does not really matter much…if you focus on your work…on films. I constantly work and ensure these things do not stop me.
There are other important things to focus on and move forward in life,” Rana said.
Rana will now be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Sunjay Dutt in Ram Gopal Varma s ‘Department’. The film releases on May 18.
Aamir-Salman pushes ‘Shootout At Wadala’ to 2013!
Shootout At Wadala was supossed to hit theaters this year. However, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has postponed its release to next year in order to avoid clashes woith Talaash and Dabangg 2.
“Our original release date was Dec 7. Later ‘Talaash’ was announced for Nov 30 release. So it’s obvious that when an Aamir Khan full-fledged mainstream film releases after almost three years, distributors and exhibitors will block the theatres for at least two weeks,” says the filmmaker.
“Next will be ‘Dabangg 2′, which has been announced for Dec 24. So we had to look for a later date because ‘Shootout…’ is also an equally big film. We are mature to understand that let’s not eat into each other’s business,” added director Sanjay Gupta.
“Shootout At Wadala” stars John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpai, Tusshar Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut in the cast.
