On the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival held at Palais des Festivals on Wednesday, the red carpet saw some of the most stunning beauties, who walked at the premiere of the film Moonrise Kingdom.
One of the beauties was actress Freida Pinto who was there to represent L’Oreal. The stunner wore a Michael Angel dress.

Salman Khan is the undisputed entertainer of the Hindi film industry, says Shahid Kapoor!
According to Shahid Kapoor, the one and only entertainer of the Hindi film industry is Salman Khan and the fact cannot be changed. Salman Khan is Shahid’s all time favorite actor.
“I don’t think anybody can be Salman Khan. And I don’t think anybody should try and be like him. There is only one Salman Khan and I am sure he is not trying to be like someone else,” Shahid Kapoor told reporters.
“I am a huge fan of him and enjoy his work. I am not trying to be someone else and I am trying to create an identity for myself,” the 31-year-old said.
Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen with Priyanka Chopra in director Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani.
Vidya Balan’s wish list!
Vidya Balan’s is undoubtedly the queen of Bollywood blockbusters. The actress now has a huge list of actors she would love to act with. Abhishek Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Prosenjit Chatterjee, are on her list.
“I would like to work with those who I have already worked with and those who I haven’t. I would love to pair with Abhishek (with whom she was seen in ‘Paa’)… It’s been long. I am very greedy to work with good actors and directors,”
The actress was at the release of the DVD of her film “Kahaani” in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Hrithik Roshan is on her list as she hasn’t worked with him yet.
And Prosenjit??? Well, she said: “We have been wanting to work together for a long time. Every year there has been talks about a Bengali film but we have not been able to work out the dates. So this year, Sujoy has said he will make a film with both of us. We are on a lookout for a good script. If everything happens, we will make it work.”
Vidya Balan is keen to do a romantic flick with the King of romance, Shahrukh Khan.
“I think I grew up watching all his films where he plays the ultimate romantic hero. When you think of romance you think of Rajesh Khanna and Shah Rukh Khan. These are the names that are foremost on my mind.
“Every woman wants a Raj (SRK’s character in ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’). That’s why I have always wanted to work with him. Whenever we work together, I would like it to be a nice relationship story,” she said.
“Why should somebody decide what we can watch and what we can’t?” says Aditi Rao.
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari, is one bold actress, Bollywood has found. Yeh Saali Zindagi saw her doing a bold scene and also string of kissing scenes. However, the actress says, doing bold scenes is not a big deal, but will be on her own terms.
“I’ll think carefully before doing a bold scene. I wouldn’t do it just like that, it depends on the script, the director,” the 33-year-old said.
According to Aditi, one shouldn’t worry about the cencor board but the audiences.
“Why should somebody decide what we can watch and what we can’t? The sense is that they certify which age group can watch a particular film or not,” said Aditi Rao Hydari.
“A-certified films are for a more mature audience and it makes sense because they are more real. If you show people in love, then obviously you will show them kissing and all,” added the actress.
Kaahani to be remade in three different languages?
Vidya Balan’s Kahaani is going great guns. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film will soon be remade in Tamil and Telugu, and most probably in English too.
“There are talks. If it happens, great. If it doesn’t, it didn’t happen. It’s at a very nascent stage.” Ghosh said, at the DVD release of “Kahaani”.
Endemol India, a TV production company, which is now into movie making, has purchased the remake rights for Telugu and Tamil version of “Kahaani”.
The remakes is said to roll on floors in September. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions will release in January 2013.
“I’m delighted to know that the film and the ‘Kahaani’ franchise are being handled by a reputed name in the entertainment industry like Endemol India,” Ghosh said in a statement.
“This association will help us reach out to audiences in the south. Here’s looking forward to great success,” he added.

Akshay’s attitude of gratitude, towards John!
We had reported to you earlier that John Abraham gifted his buddy Akshay Kumar with a high-end motorbike, since their last release ( HouseFull 2) together, was a success.
On receiving the bike, the emotional Akki in return, penned a sweet, heart touching note for John.
Akki wrote, “Johnny Donor’ is riding such a high wave right now, that he is thankfully not Donating his sperm but Donating an awesome bike to me in celebration of our huge Hit ‘HouseFull 2’… I can count on one hand how many genuine gifts I’ve been given since my time in this Industry. John’s, I must say, means a lot; not because it’s a Bike (though it helps) but because I know how much it means to him giving it to me.”

Catch the first look of ‘Bloody Veer’!
We have some bad news for all the Ranbir Kapoor fans. Well, just recently, buzz was that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as a vampire in a film titled, ‘Bloody Veer’. However, the makers of the film have rubbished all rumors by releasing the films first look.Now, ‘Bloody Veer’ will not star Ranbir.
The producer of the film, Siddharth Jain, says that he is in search of a fresh face for the film.
Jain is quoted saying, “I am looking at casting new faces for the film. As it is, a lot of newcomers do come to us since we promote new talent so we will hold auditions too and then take a call on the cast.”
In the films poster, a fair skinned guy, holding his collars up, is seen.
The movie that will hit the theaters this Halloween, is directed by Heeraz Marfatia.
Salman Khan in a Tamil remake???
Satish Kaushik, has purchased the rights of Tamil film “Pithamagan”. The actor cum director is keen on roping in Salman Khan, for the project. Earlier, Sallam worked in his 2003 hit movie Tere Naam, which was a super hit.
“Sometimes destiny has its own way. I have a nice script for Salman Khan which is much bigger than ‘Tere Naam’. I have bought the rights of Tamil film ‘Pithamagan’, which featured national award winning actor Vikram who had also done Tamil version of ‘Tere Naam’,” Satish Kaushik told.
What’s interesting is that “Pithamagan” just like ‘Tere Naam’, belongs to director Bala. Actor Surya acted in both the films.
“I have developed the script and I will soon narrate the script to Salman Khan. He is perfect for the character,” said Kaushik.
