Wedding bells ring for Amrita Rao???
Amrita Rao is in a long-distance relationship with Neil Kulkarni, an NRI orthopaedic surgeon based out of San Francisco.
According to a source, “Amrita was once in the news for being artist MF Hussain’s muse. Later, Bollywood was always abuzz with rumours about Amrita dating different men but most of the rumours fell flat after a point of time.
But this time she seems to have finally found love. Amrita has been dating a certain Neil Kulkarni, an NRI orthopaedic surgeon based out of San Francisco.”
In August, last year, the actress was in the midst of her Rajshri Production shoot for Love You Mr Kalakar in San Francisco. She also participated in promoting a charity event there, during which she apparently met Neil.
Neil Kulkarni works for one of the top hospitals there. According to sources, he too was quite smitten by Amrita.
The source added, “Amrita has tried hard to keep her personal life under wraps. Though it is a long-distance relationship, both Amrita and Neil are trying their level best to keep the romance alive.
If buzz is to be believed, Neil made a trip to Mumbai to bring in the New Year with Amrita.

This Akshay Tritiya was a special day for Amrita Rao.
The actress was gifted a diamond jewellery set by the makers of the brand she endorses after they realised that her sparklers they had gifted to her earlier were stolen from the sets of Love You… Mr Kalaakar as reported ‘Lost but not found’.
In the same event, Tushaar Kapoor gifted Amrita a sketch made by him. Amrita is one happy and lucky girl.
M F Hussain bowled over by Amrita, once again…
Till recently, M F Hussain’s muse was the lovely Anushka Sharma. He was in all mood to paint a portrait of her. But now, news is that Hussain has left Anushka behind and is back to wooing Amrita Rao.
If sources are to be believed, Amrita Rao has been invited by Hussain to stay at his grand home in London. Her family has also been invited.
This is not the first time that he is fida for Ms Rao. Previously too, Amrita was his muse. Hussain was bowled over by Amrita after he saw her film Vivaah. According to him, Amrita defines Indian beauty, just like Madhuri Dixit.
MF sir, can’t wait to present Rao a painting of her as Anarkali performing to the iconic song Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, inspired from her earlier performances at an award show.
Buzz also has it that the painter has planned to host a grand screening of her upcoming film Love U Mr Kalakaar.
Amrita’s manager confirmed the news saying, “Yes it’s true. The dates are not yet fixed but she will travel to London sometime post the release of the film.”
Amrita’s Diamond set goes missing from film set
Recently, at the Film City, while shooting for a patchwork sequencefor Love You Mr Kalaakaar, Amrita Rao lost her diamond jewelery set worth Rs 7 lakh. The actress had kept her bag containing the jewelery set in her vanity van.
Says Amrita, “I was horrified. I had never been in such a situation before. I have lost things in the past (like cell phones) but this was a vanishing trick.”
“For this particular scene, I was to wear a traditional outfit and it was perfect for it.”
After a thoroygh search, Amrita borrowed a jewelery piece from her co-star Madhoo, in order to complete the shoot.
“I did ask all the unit hands present but no-one owned up. And without any proof, I just could not point fingers at any innocent person.”
She adds, “I also told my co-star Tusshar Kapoor about it. He informed the production team.”
Rao hasn’t filed a police complaint yet. “Some people said I should but I haven’t. I was hoping that the concerned person returns it quietly. I have also been busy with the film’s promotions. But now I will have to take a call on it.”
First Look: Love U… Mr. Kalakaar….
The first look of Love U… Mr. Kalakaar headlining Amrita Rao and Tusshar Kapoor has been released by Rajshri Productions.
The film directed by debutant S Manasvi’s additionally stars Ram Kapoor, Madhoo, Prem Chopra, Jai Kalra and Kiran Kumar.
Other attractions of the film include a cameo by Salman Khan, and Roza girl Madhoo’s return after a 9 year hiatus.
Love U Mr Kalakaar is about Sahil, a cartoonist, an artist who derives his inspiration from emotions that come from the sky, from the earth, a scrap of paper, a passing shape, a spider’s web, while Ritu is a management trainee, whose world revolves around debits, credits, turnovers, profits, deadlines…
“There is always a certain hesitancy and awkwardness between a guy and a girl when she visits his house for the first time. So I decided to shoot this scene the first day because I knew Tusshar and Amrita had never worked together. I didn’t want any chemistry between them that would have come once they started working together. And sure enough the emotions came out beautifully,” Manasvi told a tabloid
The film is due for release on May 13.

Amrita Rao Gets Into The Skin of Kamala!
Actresses only dream of working with a director like Shyam Benegal and Amrita has got lucky enough to bag a vital role in Benegal’s first comedy ever – Welcome To Sajjanpur.
I am super duper excited [laughs]. Being a part of a Shyam Benegal movie is a high point for me. He is somebody who is liked and revered by everyone in my community. In fact, not many people know that we belong to the same community and we speak the same language (Konkani). So, people like Girish Karnad, Ananth Nag and Shyam Benegal have always been looked up to.
Then, of course, I saw Zubeidaa when I was studying and it is one I still count among my favourite films. So when Shyamji called me for this role, I didn`t ask him any questions—I just said yes to the film. Because I so wanted to be on board under his direction.
“I play the character of Kamala in the film”, she explains. She is illiterate and cannot read or write. She plays a potter and it`s a very rustic, earthy, rural Indian character. Sajjanpur is her world, she cannot see beyond it because she has never ventured out,” says Amrita.
And Amrita has worked quite hard to get into the skin of her character. She dressed down as a simple village belle in ghagra cholis, her character had to look darker so she wore makeup that would make her look darker than she is, she also had to learn pottery because her character makes pottery for a living. And adding another feat to this long list is that Amrita along with other actors tried hard to learn the Bagelkhandi dialect of Hindi.
We hope this movie takes Amrita to new heights as an actress.
Amrita Rao in love with Goher or Farhan?
There is much confusion over Amrita Rao’s new love is it Goher Mumtaz the lead guitarist of Jal Band or Farhan Saeed the lead vocalist of the band?
An insider revealed, “Goher came to Mumbai to shoot the video Chalte Chalte, with Amrita. During the shoot, the duo became very friendly and gradually grew fond of each other. In fact, the shoot is over long back, but Goher keeps coming to India often.”
When Goher was asked about Amrita he said, “We are good friends. I don’t think there is anything wrong in sharing a great friendship. I don’t have many friends in India. She is one of my closest ones. Amrita and I are in touch. I come to India every month. We like spending time together. In fact, I have convinced her to come to Pakistan and perform here.”
Even Amrita kept mum about her new love, “Yes, I am quite fond of all three members (meaning Goher, Farhan Saeed and Shazi) of the band. It was a great opportunity to work with someone from Pakistan. Even a simple pleasure like sharing an ice cream with someone from across the border is fun. But love is confined only to the video. When I actually fall in love, the whole world will know about it.”

Amrita Rao finds love in Jal singer Farhan Saeed
Farhan Saeed is the lead vocalist of Pakistani band Jal (famous for their Woh Lamhe). Jal had roped in Amrita for their new music video for their new album Boond. Amrita was bowled over by Farhan’s mannerisms and attitude. The duo hit off very well and soon became good buddies. After awhile both Farhan and Amrita developed special feelings for each other. The started hanging out together and were regularly spotted at many restaurants together.
Farhan is unable to stay away from his ladylove, and is flying frequently to Mumbai from Pakistan just to be with Amrita.
Farhan must be singing to himself, ” Ab to aadat si hai mujhko..” for his new craze for Amrita.
