Audience Discard Sarkar Raj, Happy With Aamir

normal_aishwaryaabhishek5.jpg
The decision of the audience is out within a week of the release of the two movies; one with the much rich and famous family star cast, and the other with a mediocre actor from the TV as it’s lead actor. It’s only been a week and the verdict says that Sarkar Raj is relief after Ramu Ki Sholay, but still, isn’t worth to watch. The movie opened with a great business, but couldn’t keep it up as the week advanced. The feedback from the audience is not very good for Sarkar Raj, whereas Aamir has earned a huge number of admirers.
Guess the much hyped family’s mere presence in the movie wasn’t quite enough too woo the audiences.

Bachchan Back To School

yung.jpg
Mr. Bachchan, recently visited his school for the celebrations of his school’s founder’s day. The actor got really emotional while having a tour of the school, and recalled the past days of childhood when he had nothing much to worry about in life. Big B was admitted into this college named Sherwood College in Nainital in 1950, when he was only 8 years old. The school also had also made him see the actor in himself for the first time when he performed a play in school auditorium and won the best actor award.
We surely thank the school for making out such a great man of bollywood out of a normal student of it’s.

Amitabh Grants Ritesh Three Wishes

49200855651AM.jpg
Well, before you jump to conclusions, let’s tell you that it’s only for a film. Ritesh Deshmukh, Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt are starring in the forthcoming movie of Sujoy Ghosh named “Aladin.” Big B who is now an experienced actor for ghostly roles, plays the character of Genie, where as our very own, Aladin AKA Ali’s character will be played by Ritesh Deshmukh. Mr. Bachchan is quite exited about the project and says, “My role is that of a genie and I will appear at the rub of the lamp to fulfill three wishes of the one that carries the object of desire.”
But, atleast for now, we hope Daddy Bachchan can fulfill his son’s and Ramu’s long desire to earn a hit. ;)

Sarkar Raj Versus Aamir

sarkar.JPG
June 6th will see the clash of two releases. While one casts the high profile Bachchans in it, the other has the audience’s heartthrob Rajeev Khandelwal. The two flicks, Sarkar Raj and Aamir have the same release date. While other directors would have not seen it as a good idea, director Raj Kumar Gupta is quite fearless about the clashes. Aamir is a low budget film of about 5 crores of rupees and is a Mumbai street thriller. Sarkar Raj on the other hand deals with politics as a subject. With two different themes, the clashes are considered not to affect each other’s box office performance. The movie also introduces the debutant from television industry, Rajeev Khandelwal.
Will this debutant really shine or will make no impact like the other TV stars in bollywood??

Bollywood On Ramp for IIFA

iifa1.jpg
IIFA this time will be something different from the usual. This year, it’ll not only be a platform for honoring great actors and actresses, but also be a platform of fashion and glamour. The fashion showcase will include designs from Indian and Thai designers. What is more special about this IIFA is that the money rose, will be for charity and serve the families of those workers in the film industry who have been badly injured or affected during the making of the film. The fashion show will involve Thai and Indian models and also actors from film industry. The cast of Mission Istanbul and Acid factory have confirmed their walking the ramp.
With stars stealing away the show, do we not need models in the fashion industry anymore??

SRK Too Busy for IIFA

0914_shahrukh430.jpg
Now that the IPL for Shah Rukh Khan have almost ended, he would surely like to concentrate more on his routine. And right now. his upcoming film “Rab Ne Bana DI Jodi” demands his full attention and dedication. So while SRK will be busy shooting for the movie with the director Aditya Chopra and model turned actress Anushka, he will have to miss the prestigious and lavish IIFA awards.
As Amitabh Bachchan happens to be the Brand Ambassador of the awards and the rumors doing rounds also say that this is just another humble and convincing way of SRK avoiding the Bachchans.
As the stars surely have impressive bahanas, should we believe these rumors???

Amitabh-Jaya Not Invited to Cannes

ash-with-family.jpg

It was almost seen as tit for tat by the many not-invited ‘friends’ of Abhi Ash wedding, when only Ash and Abhishek were invited at the Cannes. But this could not bar the Indian beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from showing her love for her parents-in-law. The senior Bachchans probably took it as a technical error, and were present at the Cannes to support their daughter-in-law anyway. Now, this is one family that likes to stick together be it at home or at Cannes (even without an invitation).

Sharukh Forgives the Bloggers the Badshah Way

shahrukh-khan-filmare-october copy.jpg

Shahrukh Khan is finally out with his statement about the whole blog controversy. And as ever, he has taken it at a lighter side.

“I’m not a bloggy kinda guy. It’s a personal point of view – and please don’t splash this as, ‘Shahrukh Khan has said Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan should NOT write such blogs’. It’s absolutely a personal point of view, honest to God – when I say that moving towards writing blogs is a way towards joining the journalist fraternity. I love journalists, but I am actor and I would like to stick to that.” he says smiling and keenly avoiding any further controversy that could’ve been created using his comment on journalists.

“I can understand if a joke has been made. It can be blown out of proportion, we can all say ‘oh God, how can he do that?’ – but I think we are all contemporaries and know each other very well. Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are my friends and we play even stranger pranks on each other when we are together. So it’s OK, if he’s written it. I have to take it in a sense-of-humour spirit. Because I have that kind of sense of humour. I do it with others, so if somebody is doing it with me, I can expect it,” adds the badshah with the usual touch of modesty.

Let’s see if Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan can beat this humbleness.
