Beti B resembles Aishwarya Rai!!
Finally, Beti B has arrived home at Jalsa and Amitabh Bachchan says, “Goddess Lakshmi has come to our family and we have brought Lakshmi ratna home.” The best part is that, Beti B doesn’t even cry much.
“We took her to Prateeksha first because that is our first home. We took my father’s blessings and then came to Jalsa,” said Amitabh.
Seems like grandpa B has now dedicated himself completely to his granddaughter.
“Currently, I am not working on any project. I have just finished with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and have no film in hand right now,” Amitabh said. “I have no work right now,” he added.
To this, Beta B retorted, immediately: “Who said you have no work? You are fully responsible to take care of your granddaughter.”
Abhishek said that that his little angel is very quite and calm. “She is quiet, obedient and very cooperative. She does not cry or fuss much.”
Big B also said, “We are happy to have a baby girl. Abhishek and Jaya got what they wanted,” he added.
Abhishek explains how it is yo be a dad, “It would take some time for the feeling to sink in, because for me the definition of father is Amitabh Bachchan.”
Though he refused to share his granddaughter’s pic with the media, Amitabh does say that the little girl looks more like Aishwarya Rai. “I think she resembles Aishwarya, but you know that children change and some people in the family think she has some resemblance to Abhishek.”
Name keeping ceremony around Christmas!
Sometime around Christmas, the Bachchans have planned to name the new born Bachchan in a formal namkaran (name keeping) ceremony.
It is heard that the ceremony will be a very private affair in the Bachchan household and will be attended by relatives and close friends only.
If a source is to be gone by, the name of the baby is already finalized, where Mr Sr Bachchan has had his last say. However, it would be formally bestowed only at the namkaran ceremony.
Talking about the event, the food is going to be pure vegetarian and the caterers have already been booked.
Baby Ash’s name starts with ‘A’!
Ever since her arrival, people all across the nation have been going gaga over baby Bachchan. One side, fans have been pouring in tweets to Sr Bachchan asking him to reveal the baby’s pic, while on the other side, people have been tweeting Jr Bachchan with various names.
Now, Abhishek Bachchan himself have asked his fans for a name suggestion.
Now, if buzz is to be believed, the baby’s name will most probably start with ‘H’. Some also believe that her name will begin with ‘K’. Considering how traditional the Bachchan family is, people have even suggested names starting with To, Naa, Nee, Yaa, Yu.
However, Abhi has put all these rumors to an end. He has asked to fans on the social networking site, to suggest a name for the baby starting wit ‘A’.
“And suggestions for names are very welcome guys. Something with “A”,” Abhi wrote.
Ever since than, name have been pouring in from all across the nation.
Ava, Aadya, Avisha, Aaliya, Anaya are a few suggested names.
Amitabh Bachchan will not share Baby Pics!
Amitabh Bachchan bluntly refused to share pictures of his newborn grandchild as he considers it a personal issue. The actor has been receiving hundreds of requests for the pic of the baby.
“Many asking for the picture of the baby…I am afraid that is not going to happen… too personal…you will understand…thank you,” Big B tweeted.
People have been very curious to see Ash’s daughter, ever since she dilevered her baby on Nov 16.
It is heard that papa Abhishek has asked his fans on Twitter, to suggest a name for the baby girl.
Big B updates about his granddaughter!!!
Amitabh Bachchan is very very very happy about the fact that he is now a dada. Ever since Ash was pregnant, Big B has been updating all his fans and followers on the minutest of details about Ash. Now that the baby is born, the focus is shifted to baby Ash.
On his Twitter page, Amitabh Bachchan wrote yesterday, “T 562 – A day spent with the new born, observing each movement, breath and presence .. recording it for posterity and for us in our old age.” Later, Big B confirmed, “T 562 -Yes Mother and baby are doing fine and should be home soon .. and yes Jaya was pregnant for one schedule of Sholay..”
Updating his blog on the baby news, Amitabh wrote, “A joy to be able to spend an entire day observing the ‘little one’. Big B further wrote, “But .. what exists in reality is the new born .. its quiet and cuddled existence, covered from head to toe with specially constructed baby wear, its shut eyes and its occasional smile as it dreams of pleasant occurrences in this new world that she has entered.”
Aishwarya Rai, is presently at the Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai, undergoing post-delivery treatment.
Thank you media, says the Bachchans!
The Bachchan men were very grateful to the media for having respected their privacy and refraining from covering the birth of the new born baby.
“As I travel back from the hospital I need to thank the media for keeping their word of not intruding our privacy. Deeply obliged !” Amitabh wrote on the micro blogging site Twitter.
The Bachchan’s haven’t yet made a formal announcement to the media about the baby girl Ash gave birth, on Wednesday morning.
“We will give time to both electronic and print media .. PR will be setting up .. Have been up for more than 24 hours .. Need rest,” Big B added.
Following his pitaji, Abhishek too, was thankful to the media.
“And a very special mention to ALL of the media for being so thoughtful, kind and respectful. Truly appreciate it. Thank you,” Abhishek wrote.
The baby is born healthy and both, mommy and baby are doing good! 
Big B gets emotional over Baby Ash!
Though the media has been strictly warned from entering the Seven Hills Hospital, Aishwarya Rai’s fans and well wishers are updated with all the happenings that’s taking place inside the hospital. And we are pretty sure that you must have guessed by now who is giving out all the news…
Well, yes we are talking about Amitabh Bachchan, who has stepped into the shoes of a cameraman and is busy recording all the precious moments.

“It has been a tiring day for all, especially the Mother, who has shown exceptional strength and courage. It has been a day of great joy and combined happiness. It has been a day of immense emotion. Tears of joy have erupted among all that were from family and about Aishwarya all along. On occasion they have tried desperately to occupy mine as well. But as the ‘official’ camera recorder of the event I have secretly dropped a few behind the eyes of the lens that I hold. These are rare moments and rare reactions,” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.
The emotional Amitabh did not forget to mention his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
“Dad ! I hold the 9th Bachchan in my hands .. this family that you started .. !!
“Amitabh, Ajitabh, Shweta, Nilima, Namrata, Abhishek, Naina, Bhim and now .. this beauty, unnamed so far … I hope you and Ma look upon us from above and bless us and your latest addition. To carry forward what then may have seemed a somewhat limited expectation. The tradition continues and may it prosper by your love and your aashirvaad,” Big B wrote.
Describing the baby girl, Big B wrote,
“The soft innocence of nature rests in my arms, oblivious of what else happens around her. Occasionally she opens her large and what looks now to be eyes of the lighter hue, which those that have dealt with similar, know shall change with time. Often the gentlest of smiles quiver across her pouted upper lip, the shut eyes bringing expression through the brows and the settling down to that dream she must dream. Her head covered in the littlest of head gear she will ever adorn, snuggles into her mini quilt of varied colors dominated by the pink softness of its material,” Big B wrote.

Currently, Aishwarya Rai is the most searched actor on every search engine, being the most searched on Yahoo. She is searched with the keywords like ‘Aishwarya Rai baby’ and ‘Aishwarya Rai latest news’.
Since the media has strictly been warned to refrain from covering the delivery of Aishwarya Rai’s baby, fans have now turned to internet.

Seven Hills Hospital saw Aishwarya Rai Bachchan checking in on Monday night at around 11.30 pm. The actress is expected to deliver anytime soon and so she was admitted late last night.
Just a few hours ago, papa in law, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted,
“A day of expectation .. but another day ! The Lord has his ways and they are most special .. we wait !!”
Though, preparations are on in full swing to welcome home the baby, Sr Bachchan did not miss watching Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar on Sunday.
“Its late but not without cause .. just back from ‘RockStar’ and living in the brilliance of all – Imtiaz Ali, Ranbir, AR and Nargis,” he tweeted.
However, coming back to Aishwarya Rai’s delivery, looks like the whole nation is getting impatient. When do you think, it’s going to be that special day for the Bachchan Pariwaar??
Preparations for the arrival of baby B!!
The Bachchan household are super happy and excited about the arrival of baby B and preparations are going on in full swing. The delivery can happen anytime soon and the whole industry is waiting for that happy moment.
It is heard that Aishwarya Rai is currently admitted in a VVIP room on the fifth floor of Seven Hills Hospital in Marol, Andheri east, for her delivery. The hospital’s security has been tightened strictly.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his Twitter page, “The family gathers together from all over as we wait for the ‘arrival’ .. Greatest joy for me – a full house and the ‘chahel – pahel’,”
11.11.11 has passed and today, 14th Nov is almost over. Now, the next date for Aishwarya Rai delivery is on November 17.
Anushka-Ranveer, sizzling chemistry on KBC!
As a promotional event for their upcoming film Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma made their presence on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 5′.
The host of the show Amitabh Bachchan was apparently bowled by their charm. Big B tweeted: “Had the lovely and bubbly Anushka and Ranveer on set today ..! Such charm and energy and chemistry ..great to be with them!!”
Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl is set to hit theaters on December 9.
Kaun Banega Crorepati is soon going to come to an end. The final shoot of the show was shot recently. Amitabh Bachchan was super emotional on the final day.
“Last day of shoot for KBC… its been a marvellous season this time…TRP of 8!! THE LAST DAY OF THE KBC SHOOT just over…a sense of indescribable emotion…will miss the team, but most importantly the contestants,” Bachchan wrote.
“The moving stories of our contestants, their plight and their struggle, will forever be engraved in our hearts,” he added.
No coverage for Bachchan Baby!!!
Well, this is something surprising, which has never happened in the history of Bollywood. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) has set certain guidelines for all news channels barring their coverage of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan giving birth to her first child. Those of you expecting to get a complete coverage of the arrival of the child are in for a disappointment.
These guidelines have come into existence following a tweet by Amitabh Bachchan.
The guidelines state the following:
Pre-coverage of the event, a big NO.
Any news regarding the child’s birth, to be published/ run only once an official announcement has been made.
Story will not run on the breaking news band.
Absolute restriction of camera or OB vans at hospital or any other location related to the story.
Only when invited, channels can go for photo-op or press conference.
No MMS or photo of the child to be carried by the channels, unless issued by family.
No astrology show to be done on this issue.
No 11.11.11 astro shows to be done.
The duration of story to be around a minute/ninety seconds.
Unauthorized entry into hospital not permitted.
NK Singh, general secretary of the BEA said,
“The main purpose (of the guideline) is to make Indian electronic news media more value-based and purposeful for broader public cause. I cannot respond to your email per se but I can only tell you about the sublime purpose which the BEA is seeking to achieve.”
Another broadcaster said, “Is this self regulation or censorship? And why only for this story? Isn’t it ironic that a move which seeks to curb publicity will find a mention in all the newspapers tomorrow?”
