The 38-year-old beauty was in a Manish Malhotra creation, teaming it with a statement emerald choker necklace..
Aishwarya was glowing like a bulb. Apart from the bride and the groom, we have to say, Ash managed to steal the limelight at the do. She did look a little chubby, but that’s accepted, as the actress is in no hurry to get back to work anytime soon.

Did Aishwarya do a cover shoot?
Till last week, we heard that Aishwarya Rai has been rejecting several offers coming her way, because of her two-months-old baby. However, the latest is that the actress has posed for the cover page of the January edition of Elegant Living magazine, which is a US based publication.
On the cover, Ash is all decked up in a white suit and a hat. She looks quite slim and trim. So we wonder when did the shoot happen!
Buzz has it that the mag, having Ash on its cover, is just a publicity stunt so as to attract people to purchase their copies with the hope of getting a glimpse of recent images of Ash and her baby.
Currently, when the entire nation is curious to know what’s cooking in the Bachchan pariwaar, whats delaying the formal naming of the baby, etc etc, having Aishwarya on the maazne cover is the best way to get its copies sold, like hot cakes.
These marketing gimmick , i tell you.!
Bollywood on ‘Agneepath’… A must watch!
January 2012 hasn’t seen any interesting releases yet. However, now, all eyes are fixed on 26th Jan, i.e. tomorrow, as Agneepath, one of the most awaited flicks of the year, is set to hit theaters. Going by the posters, trailers and the music, the film starring Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan and Sanjay Dutt as the villain Kancha Cheena, is surely going to have theaters packed
If trade analysts are to be gone by, Agneepath is said to open with a positive response. It is heard that pre bookings have already and the film promises to make big bucks. More than the lead star, Hrithik, the film looks like it belongs to the villian, Kancha Cheena aka Sanjay Dutt.
Last night, a special screening of Agneepath was held and celebs couldn’t stop raving about the film.
Taking social media as a medium to shower their praises, some of the celebs tweeted.

Big B pampers himself to a manicure and a pedicure!
Amitabh Bachchan recently pampered himself to the joys of a manicure and a pedicure.
The 69 year old actor posted on his blog about his pedicure and manicure session. “I have finally discovered the joys of being pampered by a pedicure and a manicure. I have finally discovered why the ladies spend half their lives in the parlor.”
He added, “I have finally discovered what an idiot I was in not succumbing to the luxury of pretty ladies looking after your feet and hands while you comfortably watch the Australian Open Tournament. And I have finally discovered what a fine art it is to get your nails in shape. All my misgivings far far away from reality. And so shall they remain.”
Well, getting a mani-pedi done, is something, a guy wouldn’t really want to admit in public. However, it will not come as a surprise if Big B’s this revelation will start a new trend among the guys too.
Shahrukh Khan meets Beti B…
In the past few months, Bollywood star, Shahrukh Khan was so busy that he was not able to make time to even get a glimpse of Ash-Abhi’s little bundle of joy, Beti B.
Better late than never, SRK finally found time to visit the Bachchan parivaar.
Confirming the news, Big B wrote on his blog,
“Shah Rukh drops by to meet the ‘little one’, a few others too from the fraternity visit the still in wonder bundle… and we spend all our time in trying to spend as much time as possible with her!! Simple pleasures of life..!!” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.
Khan’s relationship with the Bachchans, hasn’t been all that good. However, both the families maintained a cordial relationship, whenever they crossed each others path.
Shahrukh Khan is soon going to start shooting with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma for their upcoming, untitled flick, also making the return of Yash Chopra.

‘Kolaveri Di’ with a twist, only for Big B!
At the recently held Big Star Entertainment Awards, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan walked away with two awards and in his honor, Dhanush, the Southern sensation sang a tweaked version of his hit Tamil-English song “Kolaveri di”. This gesture of his left Big B highly impressed.
Amitabh posted on micro-blogging site Twitter Sunday night,
“Oh dear me lots of things to say… just back from Big Star Entertainment Awards and… they gave me two awards… best actor in social role for ‘Aarakshan’ and the second for the Complete Entertainer of the year… I am blessed!!”
What actually happened was that as soon as Bachchan ji went to recieve his award, Dhanush stood up and sang a ‘Big B’ version of “Kolaveri di”.
Amitabh described the moment through a tweet, saying: “And… when complete Entertainer announced, Dhanush sings live from audience, a ‘Kolaveri Di’ number, but words to suit the occasion!! Dhanush’s words were ‘Why this Kolaveri, Kolaveri, Kolaveri… B… big B… TRP’. Brilliant absolutely!! So lovable and so good!”
The award function saw all the bigies from the industry.
And the hunt for names is still on!!
Baby Bachchan hasn’t got a name yet, it’s been also a fortnight now, since the little girl was born.
Fans from all over have been tweeting the parents and grandparents with many different kind of names, on the micro blogging site Twitter. However, the Bachchan’s are not able to find an apt one.
“And I keep thanking all those that suggest names for the little one .. we are still considering ..there must be unanimous consent !!” Amitabh Bachchan wrote on the micro blogging site.
Besides tweeting names, Big B’s fans have been pestering him for a pic of the baby. But Papa Bachchan is not keen on showing his granddaughter to the world and is adament on his word.
“To those that clamor for baby’s picture, I have said it before, it will not be happening .. do understand, its personal,” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.
The little and only information that we have about the baby is that She resembles her mom Aishwarya and her name would start with the alphabet ‘A’.
Why Bachchans won’t show Beti B to the world!
The Bachchan pariwaar is in no mood to introduce their happiness, Beti B, to the world. Abhishek Bachchan reveals the reson behind this. It is heard that Abhi’s grandma has asked the parents not to release any pictures right now.
“I’m still getting used to being called a dad. My nani (grandmother) has asked us not to release any pictures right now,” Abhishek was quoted as saying so.
Gosh! We are now getting impatient to get a glimpse of the little baby!
Abhishek Bachchan lost in his Beti’s world!
The proud father of Beti B, Abhishek Bachchan, after a long break, got back to work on Thursday. However, the actor wasn’t able to concentrate on anything that he was doing.
Abhi says, all his thoughts were on his little angel and he was just not able to focus on his work.
“1st day back at work after Beti B. And so difficult to concentrate. Thoughts are monopolized by a certain little lady,” Abhishek wrote on his Twitter page.
Beti B’s name is yet to be finalized.
The current rage “Kolaveri Di”, which has become national news now, has gone viral in the Bachchan’s pariwaar too. Following daddy, beta Bachchan has also got addticted to the song.
“how cool is Kolaveri di!!! slamming it LOUD! well done Dhanush and Aishwarya (Rajinikanth’s daughter). big up guys!” Abhishek wrote.

Welcome home Aishwarya Rai!
Aishwarya Rai finally returned home with her little baby girl, accompanied by her pa-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, hubby Abhishek Bachchan and her parents, yesterday.
In the picture, the baby, though snapped from a distance, can be seen, carried protectively in his arms by Big B.
Abhishke Bachchan writes on Twitter, “Brought the girls home today. I hope beti B realizes the joy she has brought with her. The house is bursting with pink and proud grandparents.”

Beti B resembles Aishwarya Rai!!
Finally, Beti B has arrived home at Jalsa and Amitabh Bachchan says, “Goddess Lakshmi has come to our family and we have brought Lakshmi ratna home.” The best part is that, Beti B doesn’t even cry much.
“We took her to Prateeksha first because that is our first home. We took my father’s blessings and then came to Jalsa,” said Amitabh.
Seems like grandpa B has now dedicated himself completely to his granddaughter.
“Currently, I am not working on any project. I have just finished with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and have no film in hand right now,” Amitabh said. “I have no work right now,” he added.
To this, Beta B retorted, immediately: “Who said you have no work? You are fully responsible to take care of your granddaughter.”
Abhishek said that that his little angel is very quite and calm. “She is quiet, obedient and very cooperative. She does not cry or fuss much.”
Big B also said, “We are happy to have a baby girl. Abhishek and Jaya got what they wanted,” he added.
Abhishek explains how it is yo be a dad, “It would take some time for the feeling to sink in, because for me the definition of father is Amitabh Bachchan.”
Though he refused to share his granddaughter’s pic with the media, Amitabh does say that the little girl looks more like Aishwarya Rai. “I think she resembles Aishwarya, but you know that children change and some people in the family think she has some resemblance to Abhishek.”
