Ash-Abhi-Beti B fly to Goa!
The latest news has it that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchanare on a holiday to Goa, with Beti B.
The couple left for their holiday destination on Sunday night. What’s interesting is that Sunday also happened to be Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday.
Having to fulfill her motherly duties, Ash has been running around Beti B, round the clock. Abhi has also been very busy with his film ‘Bol Bachchan’, post the baby’s birth. Well, this long due holiday was very much needed and it came just on time.
Ash in particular needed this holiday as the actress hasn’t been out of Jalsa, ever since her daughter was born.

And finally, Aishwarya Rai makes a public appearance, post delivery. The gorgeous beauty was with her in laws at the wedding reception of Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on Saturday.
The 38-year-old beauty was in a Manish Malhotra creation, teaming it with a statement emerald choker necklace..
Aishwarya was glowing like a bulb. Apart from the bride and the groom, we have to say, Ash managed to steal the limelight at the do. She did look a little chubby, but that’s accepted, as the actress is in no hurry to get back to work anytime soon.
Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai blessed the newly weds. But where was Abhishek Bachchan?? Well, we hear that papa Abhi took up the baby-sitting responsibility for the day.
Did Aishwarya do a cover shoot?
Till last week, we heard that Aishwarya Rai has been rejecting several offers coming her way, because of her two-months-old baby. However, the latest is that the actress has posed for the cover page of the January edition of Elegant Living magazine, which is a US based publication.
On the cover, Ash is all decked up in a white suit and a hat. She looks quite slim and trim. So we wonder when did the shoot happen!
Buzz has it that the mag, having Ash on its cover, is just a publicity stunt so as to attract people to purchase their copies with the hope of getting a glimpse of recent images of Ash and her baby.
Currently, when the entire nation is curious to know what’s cooking in the Bachchan pariwaar, whats delaying the formal naming of the baby, etc etc, having Aishwarya on the maazne cover is the best way to get its copies sold, like hot cakes.
These marketing gimmick , i tell you.!
Beti-B, first on Oprah Winfrey’s to-do list…
Oprah Winfrey is in India and is very keen on paying a visit to the Bachchan parivaar. Well, the international talk show queen wants to meet Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s two-month-old daughter, Beti B.
Says a source, “She has landed here and the first thing she wants to do is meet Ash and her baby…So, she will be visiting them in ‘Jalsa’ before she heads for the party.”
Aishwarya Rai even gifted Oprah a sari which she wore for the party.
“The gracious Oprah Winfrey visits our home, to meet us and bless the baby..warm hearted, endearing .. drive her to party in her honor. And Oprah in sari .. looking lovely !!” Amitabh Bachchan later wrote on Twitter.
To honour Winfrey, socialite Parmeshwar Godrej threw a bash on Monday night and to the bash were spotted a of variety of well-known figures and celebrities.
The Godrej party turned out to be an enjoyable one, for after it Oprah Winfrey tweeted: “@FarahKhanAli was so great meeting you and all the beautiful Bollywooders. Directors, poets, screenwriters, what a nite!”
Shobhaa De and actress Sameera Reddy were a few among the guests.
Shahrukh Khan meets Beti B…
In the past few months, Bollywood star, Shahrukh Khan was so busy that he was not able to make time to even get a glimpse of Ash-Abhi’s little bundle of joy, Beti B.
Better late than never, SRK finally found time to visit the Bachchan parivaar.
Confirming the news, Big B wrote on his blog,
“Shah Rukh drops by to meet the ‘little one’, a few others too from the fraternity visit the still in wonder bundle… and we spend all our time in trying to spend as much time as possible with her!! Simple pleasures of life..!!” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.
Khan’s relationship with the Bachchans, hasn’t been all that good. However, both the families maintained a cordial relationship, whenever they crossed each others path.
Shahrukh Khan is soon going to start shooting with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma for their upcoming, untitled flick, also making the return of Yash Chopra.
Ash is a great mom says Abhi!
Abhishek Bachchan recently spoke his heart at a recent interview, talking about his gorgeous wife Ash, how it feels to have a flop flick and whats keeping him joyful these days. The actor also revealed that Aishwarya is unlikely to return to acting anytime soon.
The happy papa says that Ash is in no mood to return to films anytime soon as she is savoring all the happy joyous moment of motherhood. He also adds that Ash is a great mommy.
“But I’m sure, she would continue acting. I am the last person to stop her,” says Abhishek Bachchan.
Abhi also said that he gets very upset when his films flop at the box office. He feels very bad when he is not give credit for his work only because he is a superstar son.
Abhishek Bachchan on Beti B…
Beti B is not yet named. It’s been more than a month now. Fans are waiting to see the baby girl. But nither the baby nor her pic has been revealed to public.
However, Abhishek Bachchan is kind enough to give us latest updates on his little angel, while he was promoting his upcoming flick ‘Players’, in Bengaluru.
“Thankfully she (daughter) resembles her mother, but I have been told by the veterans that children’s face changes over time … I think it sounds better she looks like her mother.”
On asking the actor how he felt on getting the first glimpse of his baby, he said,
“It’s the most indescribable thing that ever happens…No matter how good is your vocabulary, you can never get words of what you feel when you see the child… It is wonderful,” Abhishek revealed.
Abhishek also added, “I would let you know as soon as I have decided upon a name.”
Abhishek Bachchan seeks blessings at Ajmer Sharif.
Fifteen days to go for his film Players to hit the screens, Abhishek Bachchan was spotted visiting the holy shrine in Ajmer Sharif, offering prayers to the Sufi saint.
The entire team of Players, including Abhishek Bachchan were in Jaipur, on a promotional tour. Managing a few free hours, Abhi decided to visit to the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
“Had the morning off so drove down to Ajmer Sharif. Went back there after almost 7 yrs. It’s always wonderful to go there and seek blessings,” Abhishek Bachchan wrote on his Twitter page after visiting Ajmer.
The actor then drove back to Jaipur.
“Driving back to Jaipur after visiting Ajmer Sharif Darga,” Abhishek tweeted.
When it comes to professional life, the year 2011 did not prove very lucky for Abhishek. However, life is rocking for the actor on the personal front, he being blessed with a baby girl.
Players is set to release on January 6.
Ash-Abhi’s beti turns a month old!
On this day last month, the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl. So soon its already a month and the baby hasn’t been named yet.
Beti B turns a month old and the Bachchan fans flooded Big B with congratulatory messages from all over.
“Today 16th Dec … The little one a month old .. God’s blessings and the love of all .. Thank you …” Amitabh Bachchan wrote on Twitter.
Adding that the baby’s name hasn’t been finalized yet, Mr Bachchan wrote, “The name for the little one is not firmed yet .. Will let all know when it is ..”

Abhishek Bachchan is a die hard fan of football and the actor supports the Chelsea team. And it looks like daddy B wants his Beti B to tread on the same path.
Abhi recently uploaded a pic of his daughters Chelsea jersey on his Twitter page following the team’s 3-0 victory over Newcastle. He tweeted:

Meanwhile, Beti B remains nameless. Recent buzz also had it that the Bachchans were planning on selling Beti B’s first pic for a huge amount. However, Big B cleared the rumors, calling it another media tactic.
And the hunt for names is still on!!
Baby Bachchan hasn’t got a name yet, it’s been also a fortnight now, since the little girl was born.
Fans from all over have been tweeting the parents and grandparents with many different kind of names, on the micro blogging site Twitter. However, the Bachchan’s are not able to find an apt one.
“And I keep thanking all those that suggest names for the little one .. we are still considering ..there must be unanimous consent !!” Amitabh Bachchan wrote on the micro blogging site.
Besides tweeting names, Big B’s fans have been pestering him for a pic of the baby. But Papa Bachchan is not keen on showing his granddaughter to the world and is adament on his word.
“To those that clamor for baby’s picture, I have said it before, it will not be happening .. do understand, its personal,” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.
The little and only information that we have about the baby is that She resembles her mom Aishwarya and her name would start with the alphabet ‘A’.
