The fans of Hrithik and Aishwariya in Madhya Pradesh can heave a sigh of relief, as Jodha Akbar has been cleared off the ban. The High Court gave the verdict in the favor of UTV Motion Pictures.
Siddhart Roy Kapur, director of UTV Motion Pictures said,”The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ruled in favour of UTV and we are commencing the screening of Jodhaa Akbar immediately across the state. This is a huge boost to all advocates of creative freedom in our country, and we are very grateful to the court for recognizing the validity of our stand and allowing Jodhaa Akbar to resume screenings.”
Director Aushotosh Gowariker was also relieved and happy with the court verdict. He exclaimed, “The film portrays love between two cultures and religions through a marriage of alliance between a Mughal emperor and a Rajput princess. This is an alliance that took place 450 years ago; an alliance that we need to respect, admire and learn from even today. He also adds that a disclaimer had been inserted at the start of the film saying that the film is a work of fiction and it draws from history but at the same time it is not the exact representation of it and there can be other viewpoints.”

Ash and Abhishek seem extremely offended at the latest media scoop that Aishwarya is pregnant. Abhishek was quoted saying, “it is not true at all”.

It seemed as if Abhishek Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai took the title ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ a little too literally during the special screening of the film. A few stars and their families were invited by Shaad Ali and YRF for the screening. Abhi-Ash arrived at the spot with potlis of coins and started throwing the coins on the screen. And needless to say the coins missed destination and fell on the special guests seated in the front row. Also Abhishek, unable to keep his excitement, was hooting, screening, giggling and dancing with wife Ash. This vexed the guests and an ashamed Shaad Ali and friends had nothing to do but hide their faces. As the credits rolled Ash, Abhishek and Preity cheered aloud but Lara and Bobby kept their dignity by being sober. Hmm…sounds like daddy Amitabh didn’t give any tips on humility to his son and daughter-in-law.

Aishwarya is one among the Indians who have made it big internationally. After her critically appreciated role in Provoked and her completely international project The Last Legion it is now time to see our lady gorgeous on U.S television. No, she won’t be doing a reality show but will be see in the top U.S sci-fi serial Heroes. Heroes-TV has reported that the actress will appear in 8 episodes of the up coming series of the NBC show about ‘superhuman’ beings.
‘The science fiction drama television series, created by Tim Kring, premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006 and tells the story of several people who “thought they were like everyone else… until they woke with incredible abilities” such as telepathy, time travel and flight. It’s been said that Ash will play the role of Dr. Mohinder Suresh’s elder sister Shanti Suresh, and will have a super-power of her own, something which has not yet been disclosed.’ Ash will soon be shooting for the series in Los Angeles and the episodes will be aired in October this year. Hmm…so all those people who had doubts that Bachchans would eclipse Ash’s career, should keep their mouth shut and wait till the lady overshadows Bachchans. Great going Lady!

Not because she wasn’t invited for the wedding, but because Abhishek has delayed the shoot of their next film ‘Lagaa Chunari Mein Daag’ for which they are paired together for his honeymoon plans. Because oh this delay Rani’s other projects would also suffer. Well you can’t actually blame her after such a thing. It takes good amount of strength to digest that in spite of being a good family friend, she wasn’t invited for the wedding because of Ash’s dislikes for her, and to top all that this professional delay!
Aishwarya Rai has decided to take up the Bachchan title by her own will and this information was passed to media by Big B. Also that both Aishwarya and Abhishek will stay with Big B and Jaya Bachchan instead of staying separate. Big B also expressed his and Jaya’s wish for Ash to continue her career. But not everyone in the industry is anyway interested to work with Ash.
“I have not seen any of her movies. I don’t know her and really don’t want to know,” said Mahesh Bhatt when asked to comment on Ash’s career graph. Wondering on that statement? I am not!
